Chapter 1079: I Like That Look On Your Face Right Now

“Go to Limeburgh Town and resupply!” Enzo ordered. “I want everything to be done in one hour. Those who are yet to be back by then will be left behind. Do I make myself clear?!”

“”Yes, Sir!””>

The Catkins, who were informed about what happened to Lily, were all eager to come to her rescue.

Since she was carrying the children of their Young Master, she had to be rescued no matter what.

The moment Joanne left Ethan’s room, she immediately went to look for the Old Catkin and told him everything she knew.

Since Joanne had decided to go with her brother, there was no need for the Protector Clans inside the academy to remain.

All of them would go with their Young Master and Young Miss to Atlantis without any hesitation.

A flurry of activities happened in Limeburgh Town as the Protector Clan members, who had been doing business there, were informed of what had happened.

They all closed their shops and canceled all their appointments because they, too, would not sit by and watch as their Young Master and Young Miss headed to battle alone.

Supplies were secured.

Weapons were procured.

And any other miscellaneous items that would help in battle were collected.

The Protector Clans existed to protect the lineage of the Valentin Family.

So, even if they were going to fight against Progenitors, even though they knew that they didn’t stand a chance against them, they would still go without hesitation.

All in all, five Flying Ships, including the Flying Ship Ethan borrowed from Professor Barret, took off into the skies and headed to the sea.

Their destination was none other than Atlantis, the Ancient City with defenses strong enough to resist the attacks of Progenitors.

Ethan, who stood on the deck of the ship, looked at the horizon and wished that they could go faster and reach their destination a second earlier.

In a Realm called Akkadian…

Lily groaned as she slowly opened her eyes.

She could feel a stinging pain on her cheek where she had been slapped by the Progenitor who had kidnapped her from her family.

But that was the least of her worries.

She found herself in what seemed to be a capsule, completely submerged in a green liquid.

For a brief moment, she tried to hold her breath because she thought that she was going to brown.

It didn’t take long for her to realize that she had been unconscious not long ago yet was able to breathe properly.

Because of this, she relaxed a bit and allowed herself to calm down.

Just like she expected, she was able to breathe properly despite being submerged in that green liquid, which seemed to be healing her injuries.

A moment later, she hastily placed her hands on her belly and closed her eyes, checking to make sure that her unborn children were not hurt during the kidnapping incident.

She had discovered long ago that she shared a special connection with them and was generally able to tell that they were safe from harm.

After understanding that her twins were not in any danger, she allowed herself to finally relax and observe her surroundings.

‘Where am I?’ Lily thought. ‘I need to find a way to get out of here.’

After making up her mind, Lily pulled back her arm and punished the glass of the capsule that was holding her in place.

However, the place where she punched didn’t show any signs of damage.

Not daunted in the slightest, Lily transformed her arm to that of a Werewolf.

This partial transformation came very handy because she didn’t need to transform her entire body to use the power of the Beastkin in her blood.

However, despite using her full strength, she was unable to even create a scratch on the capsule, which made her feel anxious.

“Your struggle is futile.”

An amused voice that belonged to a woman reached Lily’s ears, making her stop her attempt to break free from the capsule.

“You!” Lily glared at the beautiful woman, who had kidnapped her from her home.

Bubbles escaped Lily’s lips as she tried to speak, making the Progenitor, Tiruru, chuckle.

“You look like a fish,” Tiruru said in ridicule. “If I were you, I would just behave and be an obedient hostage. Don’t forget-your life is in our hands.

“Lastly, I am very tempted to corrupt the children inside your womb. I wonder what kind of face Ashmedai would make if your children suddenly turned into abominations?”

Lily almost panicked after hearing that the Progenitor could turn her children into abominations.

She didn’t mind if the one who became an abomination was her. But, she would not allow her innocent children to be turned into monsters!

“I like that look on your face right now.” Tiruru smirked. “Helplessness, desperation, and fear. Make no mistake, I do not hate you. However, you just happen to be the wife of the person who took over Zorathul’s domain, as well as the one who will continue to produce progeny for the Valentin Family who worship that hateful Ashmedai.

“In short, your husband and that arrogant demon should have known better than to poke the hornet’s nest. Now, we will make them regret that they messed with the Akkadians.”

Lily gritted her teeth and lowered her head.

She didn’t want to make eye contact with Tiruru because she was afraid that her gaze might provoke her, which in turn might make her angry enough to harm her children.

Right now, the only thing she could do was wait for someone to rescue her.

However, the mere thought of Ethan fighting against Progenitors filled her with dread.

Her lover might be powerful and able to fight against a Colossi.

But Progenitors were an entirely different existence.

They stood at the Apex of their respective domains, lording over the mortals under their

command.

Lily was torn between wishing that she would be rescued and wishing that Ethan should stay away, knowing that if he were to come, he would suffer the wrath of the Progenitors whose might could bring her husband to his knees.

“Not interested in talking anymore?” Tiruru asked in a teasing tone. “You’re smart. You immediately grasped that you need to behave if you want yourself, and your children to

survive.”

The Progenitor covered her lips with her hands and chuckled, feeling good that she was able to strike fear in Lily’s heart.

She then approached the capsule and pressed her palm over it, making sure to make herself look more intimidating.

“As long as you are inside that capsule, you will not feel hungry or suffer any harm,” Tiruru said. “But it will only last for one more week. After that, you will be moved to that capsule

over there.”

The Progenitor pointed at a capsule with a violet liquid inside of it, which made Lily subconsciously shudder.

“If Ashmedai refuses to accept our conditions, we will dump you in that container filled with extremely low-grade miasma,” Tiruru smirked. “It will not threaten your life, but it can trigger mutations for your kids. So, you better pray to whatever God you believe in that we will be in a good mood when that time comes.”

After saying those words, Tiruru finally turned to leave, giggling until she was out of the

room.

She didn’t speak any lies to Lily earlier.

If Ashmedai stubbornly refused to heed their demands, then they would not hesitate to corrupt the innocent lives inside Lily’s womb and turn them into Monsters, which would definitely make their parents fall into despair.
