Chapter 1078: Everyone’s Determination

Ethan looked at his lovers, who had gathered inside his room, with a solemn expression on his face.

His sister, Joanne, was also present in the room, and she wondered why her brother seemed anxious.

But when Ethan finally spoke to tell them the reason why he had gathered all of them for an emergency meeting, their eyes widened in shock.

“Lily has been kidnapped by Progenitors,” Ethan said. “And an hour from now, I will be leaving the academy to head to Atlantis with Emma and Lilith.”

He then explained the reason why he was only taking Emma and Lilith with him.

“I’m currently unable to use magic because I have returned Nicole’s Origin Magic Crystal to her,” Ethan said as he glanced at Nicole, who was sleeping on his bed. “And Emma holds the key that will help me fully activate my own Origin Magic Crystal, allowing me to use the Bloodline Magic that belongs to the Valentin Family.”

His lovers knew that Ethan had not made love with the others due to special circumstances regarding the Progenitors, who could threaten his life.

Now that Ethan was no longer hesitating to regain his powers, it only meant one thing. He no longer cared if Progenitors knew about his existence.

They understood that what Ethan wanted the most was the power to save his wife, so he planned to throw caution into the wind and go all out.

“I can understand why you need to go to Atlantis with Emma and Lilith,” Lilian replied. “What I don’t understand is why are you not taking me there with you? If we are together, we can unleash a Legacy Resonance. That will make you more powerful, no?

“Or are you telling me that you’re afraid that I might get hurt while you risk your life fighting against Progenitors?”

Lilian, who had grown more courageous and bolder, stared at Ethan with determination.

“I can guess what you are thinking,” Chloe stated. “The moment you regain your powers, the Progenitors might descend to Midgard in order to capture you.

“The reason why you chose to go to Atlantis is because you believe that you will have the home-turf advantage in the Sea, right? If that is really the case, then all the more reason that you take Lilian with you. Also, just so you know, I’m going with you as well.

“The Stone of Destiny can give you a powerful boost because it has chosen you as one of the True Kings that it recognizes. If you want to win, you will need all the help you can get, so you also need to take me with you.”

“I am also going,” Luna, the kindest and gentlest among Ethan’s lovers, made her thoughts known. “Do not forget that the moon and the tides share a connection. As long as the battlefield is in the sea, I can help you raise the waves and support you with Moon Magic.”

“I will go as well,” Samantha, who usually disliked conflict, didn’t hesitate to declare her intention to join Ethan in battle. “I have cared for Lily ever since I discovered that she was pregnant. Also, I am a Healer. If people get injured, who will heal them if I’m not there?”

“I don’t want to stay behind and wait for your return, so I will accompany you in battle,” Princess Ramona said. “I can weaken the enemies that you will fight, if worst comes to worst, I can just summon Elementals to tank their attacks.”

“Don’t worry, Brother. I will go as well!” Joanne said with hands resting over her hips. “If I go, the Protector Clans in the academy will go as well. I may not be able to help much, but if Enzo and the others are with you, I’m sure that they will be of help.”

But before Ethan could dissuade them from going, the sleeping girl on the bed opened her eyes and spoke.

“Let them go,” Nicole stated. “I know you’re worried about them. But the same is true for them as well. They are very worried about you. Don’t worry about their safety. If the worst comes to worst, I’ll temporarily borrow Baradiel’s power to save them.”

Princess Wilhelmina, who was also inside the room, looked at Ethan’s lovers and sighed in her heart.

‘They’re still young, and yet, they’re so determined to follow him into battle,’ Princess Wilhelmina thought. ‘If any of them dies, Ethan will be sad. I’ll prioritize protecting them, so The can focus on battle.’

Perhaps, sensing what she was thinking, Ethan glanced in Princess Wilhelmina’s direction. “I’ll protect them with my life, Your Highness,” Princess Wilhelmina said firmly. “I can probably take a few hits from a Progenitor due to my bloodline abilities.”

Seeing that everyone was determined to go with him, Ethan lowered his head to think about

it.

There were pros and cons by taking his lovers with him to battle.

At the start, he wanted to reject their proposals to come with him.

But after giving it more thought, he had a feeling that even if he didn’t take all of them with him, they would find a way to follow him on their own.

‘Ethan, truth be told, I wanted to tell you to leave them here,’ Sebastian said. ‘But it’s true that they can also help you in battle.’

“They are your women, and you are their man,’ Ethan’s Other Half commented. ‘Although there is a risk, I’m sure that they will not take no for an answer. If you are feeling worried about them, just create a clone for me to take over, so I can help you protect them.

‘Sebastian and Dainsleif will also be there, and with the three of us, we can probably buy enough time for your lovers to retreat to safety.’

Sebastian nodded. ‘That’s right.’

Ethan took a deep breath before reluctantly nodding in agreement.

“I’ll give all of you two hours to pack up and prepare,” Ethan said. “We will leave after two hours.”

All the ladies nodded and left Ethan’s room in an orderly manner.

Now that Ethan had agreed to take them with him, they would need to make the necessary preparations to ensure that they wouldn’t drag him down in battle.
