In the laboratory, Isaac’s pale fingers tapped gently on the parchment. His gaze shifted between three plans as he contemplated their order.

First, he was almost certain that the Endless Tower’s Trial was impossible to complete, so he would take some time to build his foundation at Tier Four.

The impact wasn’t all that great. After all, for a Wizard, Tiers weren’t the most critical thing—especially for a Mad Witch. A huge challenge awaited them at Tier Six: the Outer Gods!

A Wizard could obtain the title of Demigod at Tier Five, but this was essentially a case of fighting beyond their Tier. Tier Six was the true Divine Domain.

And once they reached Tier Six, the protection of the Gate of Legends would be lifted. At that point, a Mad Witch would have to directly face every Outer God they had ever dealt with. It would be time to settle old scores, and the Outer Gods would be out for blood.

Hiding in the Real World, where Divine Power couldn’t be fully unleashed, was useless. Unless the Outer Gods were dealt with, their whispers would constantly linger in a Wizard’s ears. One or two might not have an effect, but once their numbers grew, it would cripple one’s research efficiency, even if they couldn’t cause any substantial harm.

For a Wizard, being unable to focus on research was the ultimate nightmare.

Therefore, after a Mad Witch entered Tier Four, even if they had mastered their own unique characteristics and could safely trade with Outer Gods, they would still reduce the frequency of these trades to lessen the challenge they would face at Tier Six.

This was one of the main reasons modern Mad Witches had slowly transitioned from theft to legitimate trade.

Grudges were relatively easy to resolve that way.

Of course, it was a different story for Isaac. He had no intention of changing his ways of dealing with the Outer Gods, no matter what Tier he was.

The reason was simple. First, he was used to taking shortcuts. Anyone who’s used to making a quick buck knows that going back to earning money the slow way is a fate worse than death.

Isaac didn’t trade with the Outer Gods. He didn’t even steal from them. He brazenly scavenged from them!

And several times, he had specifically targeted a single Outer God and farmed them relentlessly.

Those kinds of grudges were impossible to resolve.

Therefore, Isaac needed to spend his time in Tier Four and Tier Five building a solid foundation.

Obtaining a perfect advancement from the Endless Tower would be ideal, but it didn’t matter if he couldn’t. Isaac was confident that the results of his own advancement wouldn’t be much worse than the Tower’s "perfect" version. He might even surpass that "perfection"!

After all, true perfection didn’t exist in this world, only a state that infinitely approached it.

So, with the "main quest" off the table, Isaac suddenly had an abundance of time, and his mood had completely changed. For instance, any experiments he couldn’t finish could wait until he returned to the Real World. There was no need to rush anymore.

Isaac’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he quickly settled on the order of his plans.

First and foremost was weaving the Divine Spirit Book. His research on Virtual Divinity was currently at a standstill and required more data. Whether it was collecting data on Mephisto and the others or weaving more Virtual Deities, it would all take time.

Furthermore, the materials needed to weave the Divine Spirit Book were far more numerous and complex than those for a Virtual Divinity, requiring considerable time to collect and process. Much of this work could only be done by Isaac himself and couldn’t be handed off to others.

It was nothing like the Divine Fragments that could be mass-produced by Deities.

Second was researching "Magical Treasures." Conveniently, these could be produced through a Miracle Ceremony, making the research materials relatively easy to obtain. Moreover, from the perspective of his path to greatness, these items were of lower difficulty, making them suitable for practice. It would allow him to get a preliminary sense of whether his theories about this path were correct.

Isaac was a man of action. Having made his decision, he immediately got to work. The first step in creating a Divine Spirit Book was to prepare the Divine Power, then use that to calculate the required materials.

Divine Spirit Books were divided into different levels based on the amount of Divine Power used. The lowest level was, without a doubt, the Ten Divine Books, composed of ten strands of Divine Power. The highest was the Ten Thousand Gods Scripture, composed of over ten thousand strands of Divine Power!

For now, Isaac naturally wouldn’t consider something as High Level as the Ten Thousand Gods Scripture.

With his current abilities, he could gather ten thousand strands of Divine Power from different Deities, though it would take some effort. However, the subsequent materials were far too complex. Putting aside whether he could even collect them, just calculating the required material ratios would be a major challenge with his current power.

’Even with the help of his Golden Finger!’

Isaac’s Golden Finger only had a supportive function. In his research, it could often only point him in the right direction to achieve his goal. The intermediate steps, however, had to be completed by Isaac himself.

So, for his first Divine Spirit Book, Isaac decided to make a Ten Divine Books. It would be good practice, and he was curious to see what surprises the Divine Spirit Book had in store for him.

It was worth noting that the Divine Spirit Book was less particular about the type of Divine Power it required compared to a Virtual Divinity. Even Divine Power from a Virtual Divinity could be used to construct one. Furthermore, whether the Divine Power came from a Virtual Divinity with the [Eternal] Concept or an Ordinary one, the resulting Divine Spirit Book would have no duration limit.

This, without a doubt, made things much more convenient for Isaac.

He currently possessed four Virtual Divinities. Combined with the residual Divine Power of the Master of Blood from the Divine Artifact Blood Pool he had stripped away, he had a total of five strands of Divine Power on hand. That was half of what he needed, saving him a great deal of effort.

’Though, collecting Divine Power wasn’t that troublesome to begin with...’

Isaac was approaching this first Ten Divine Books as a data-gathering exercise, so he was relatively casual about it. He quickly performed a "five-pull" on some Evil Gods to collect the remaining Divine Power, then began researching the material ratios for the Divine Spirit Book.

Of course, it wasn’t as if he could get too serious about it even if he wanted to. The Miracle Magic awakened by a Tier Four Mage was basically a black box. Initially, you didn’t know the principles or the specific effects; much of the data had to be gathered through gradual testing.

Miracle Magic·God Sealing was no different. Isaac only knew the materials and steps required to cast the spell. As for the result, he would only find out once he cast it.

He was in a good position, at least. He had his Golden Finger to assist him, guaranteeing a successful cast every time.

This kind of production-type Miracle Magic had a chance of failure, after all.

Of course, for this reason, no Wizard would choose such a narrative to forge their Miracle right after advancing to Tier Four. Most opted for combat-oriented Miracles instead.

This didn’t quite align with Isaac’s own ideas about a Wizard’s role, but that’s what was written in the Sect’s archives. He had looked for the reason, but at the time, he was only a Tier Three Mage and hadn’t yet begun laying the groundwork for his Miracle.
