Chapter 414: Chapter 302: Miracle Ceremony: Battle of Divine Enthronement

The material recipe for the Ten Divine Books wasn’t complex. With the help of his two research cheats, the Golden Finger and his "Analysis" Authority, Isaac deciphered it in just half a month.

Just as Isaac had expected, the materials required for the Ten Divine Books weren’t particularly high-level. They were mostly Tier Three materials, with only a few at Tier Four, but the quantities required were enormous!

A truly staggering amount!

This confirmed Isaac’s earlier suspicion: the Divine Spirit Book’s power to check Deities didn’t come from absolute strength, but from restraint and binding. It used complex, super-composite Concepts to make it nearly impossible for a contracted Deity to circumvent the agreement.

This was also why Isaac hadn’t created a Divine Spirit Book sooner. It required too many materials and was too exhausting. Back then, he was still focused on completing the Endless Tower’s Trial, so he didn’t have much time to spare.

But things were different now. Isaac had decided to give up on completing the Trial. As the saying goes, the moment you decide to slack off, the whole world opens up. Not only did he suddenly have a wealth of time,

but he also had plenty of manpower, which had been freed up now that the plan to conquer the Underground Palace was abandoned. After all, he had previously avoided interfering in the Underground Palace City’s development to prevent the Demon God from discovering his connection to it and jeopardizing the conquest.

But now that he had given up on conquering the Underground Palace, his plans had to change accordingly. There was no reason not to utilize all the manpower the Underground Palace City had to offer.

So, after quickly organizing the material list, Isaac sent it to Mephisto to have him help with the collection.

Meanwhile, he used the spare time to find a location and begin setting up the Miracle Ceremony·Sealing God, intending to create a few Magical Treasures for research.

The Miracle Ceremony·Sealing God came in two forms. One was the complete Miracle Ceremony, which was integrated into the world’s rules and would automatically trigger at set intervals once its conditions were met. The other was an incomplete version that wasn’t integrated into the world’s rules and required manual setup.

However, despite being called the incomplete version, the differences weren’t that significant, other than having to prepare the ritual materials and the semi-finished Magical Treasure reward yourself.

The ritual’s completion process and the quality of the final Magical Treasure remained the same.

The ritual materials were easy to handle. Given Isaac’s mastery of Ritualism, he had been proficient in this area since he was Tier Three. After all, the materials required for a ritual are valued for the ’Concept’ they represent; their inherent Magic Power is not the primary concern.

The semi-finished Magical Treasure, however, was more troublesome. This step required Isaac to personally design and craft a Magic Item with effects similar to the intended Magical Treasure. The ritual would then sublimate this item, transforming it into a wondrous Magical Treasure.

Unfortunately, like most modern Wizards, Isaac wasn’t particularly skilled at crafting high-level Magic Items...

Still, it wasn’t a major issue. The Magical Treasures created by the Miracle Ceremony, unlike the ’Legends’ from the Magic Book, weren’t strictly limited by their original descriptions.

In other words, the final product’s quality depended entirely on the strength of the Miracle Ceremony. If the ceremony’s strength was merely average, the resulting Magical Treasure might have the intended effect, but as for its stats...

They would be, relatively speaking, quite pathetic.

Even with this convenient loophole, Isaac decided to make his first Magical Treasure a simple one—the Wind-Fire Wheel!

’This thing is simple. Just make two hoops, set them on fire, add an Anti-Gravity Technique, and it’s basically done. The rest can be left to the omnipotent Miracle Ceremony!’

Beyond its simplicity, it was also practical. The Wind-Fire Wheel’s primary ability was flight, with offense being secondary. Therefore, even if the final ritual’s result was mediocre, the finished product would still be useful. After all, flight was a rather difficult feat for most Transcendents.

Wizards, of course, were the exception.

Tier Two Grand Wizards already possessed magic that allowed them to fly, albeit at a relatively slow speed. As for Knights, they didn’t gain the ability to fly until Tier Three, and even then, it was only for short distances. They were still out of luck for long-range travel.

GLUG GLUG GLUG~

In his underground laboratory, Isaac stirred a large cauldron, which was bubbling with green froth. While observing the viscous, bubbling green liquid inside, he tossed in an assortment of random materials.

A moment later, Isaac fished two golden wheels inscribed with Magic Runes out of the Crucible. After examining them for a moment, he nodded in satisfaction, then put both them and the still-boiling Crucible away.

With his Golden Finger’s assistance, Isaac no longer felt any sense of anticipation for these kinds of crafting experiments. If not for the fact that his Golden Finger couldn’t be used by others, he would have outsourced this manual labor long ago.

Unfortunately, that was impossible. This wasn’t the outside world; otherwise, he could have delegated such tasks to the ’Mad Heart’ Wizards under his command.

After stowing the Magic Cauldron and the Wind-Fire Wheel prototypes, Isaac gave the laboratory a cursory glance before a jagged Void rift opened behind him and swallowed him whole, taking him from the place.

The materials for the Divine Spirit Book were still being gathered, and the Divine Fragments of the Mother Goddess were in production. He would use this time to go out and set up the Miracle Ceremony, and maybe find a few Servant Demons along the way. Once the Divine Fragments were complete, he could create more laborers. Relying on the Mother Goddess alone was simply too slow.

’What kind of production line only has one worker?’

’Can you even call that a production line?’

...

「Three days later.」

Above a stretch of Wilderness teeming with Demons, Isaac’s figure emerged from a jagged Void rift. He looked down at the burly Ogres below and nodded in satisfaction.

With a wave of his hands, materials emerged one by one from the Void behind him, transforming into streams of light that shot toward the land in every direction. Instantly, a strange aura began to permeate the Wilderness. It was a pity that while the Ogres had been enhanced by a Demon God’s Divine Power, their intelligence remained rather lacking; they didn’t notice a thing.

Of course, this was to be expected. The Demon God itself wasn’t very bright, so how intelligent could the Demons it enhanced be?

Soon, thanks to Isaac’s masterful technique, the battlefield for the Miracle Ceremony·Sealing God was fully prepared, ready to be activated at a moment’s notice.

The moment Isaac tossed a bloody heart to the ground, the recently quieted Miracle Ceremony flared to life. Centered on a point midway between the heart and the Ogre Dungeon, a hemispherical Magic Barrier instantly slammed down!

At that moment, even creatures as dim-witted as Ogres realized something was wrong!

ROAR!!

BANG! BANG!!

ROAR!

Panic, anger, and fear permeated the Wilderness below. The Miracle Ceremony had used the heart and the dungeon as its boundaries, and since the Ogres were scattered with the dungeon as their epicenter, a considerable number of them were trapped outside the Barrier.

No matter how they attacked the transparent wall, they could not get through.

Faced with this bizarre situation, most of the Ogres became even more enraged. However, the few who were stronger and possessed a sliver of intelligence were plunged into terror. This terror reached its peak when Ogres began to emerge from the dungeon, which had been dormant for a long time!

However, their panic was short-lived. A piece of information soon flooded their minds in an incredibly crude fashion, allowing even the most brainless Ogre to understand the current situation.

The War has begun!

Win, and you will be rewarded!

Kill!
