"What a pity." After Isaac left, streams of flesh and bone surged up from the ground, coalescing behind Innis into the figure of a burly man. With his hands behind his back, He gazed with some regret in the direction Isaac had gone.

"It’s fine. It’s not that much of a pity," Innis said cheerfully, glancing at the man beside them. "This was just an experiment. Even if this path were truly viable, I wouldn’t take it. You know I disdain walking a path forged by others."

"True enough." The Blood and Bone God shook his head and sighed. His body then dissolved into flesh and bone, melting back into the courtyard.

Even so, He still found it a shame. The path of cultivating the strong had already been walked by a Great Wizard long ago. Otherwise, with the talent Isaac was now displaying, there was a very real chance he could have become a Great Wizard through this method.

This research Knowledge could take the form of a single spell, a series of spells, or even just experimental data or magical theory.

But regardless of its form, the value of this Knowledge was absolutely worthy of the Level the Sect assigned to it.

Although the Divine Birth Ceremony still had many areas for optimization, continuing the experiment with his current abilities would lead to very slow progress. Therefore, he would shift his focus elsewhere for now—to something with a faster payoff. For instance, the plan to steal the Divine Power of the God of Credit.

This would grant him an extraordinary boost in combat power, which was critically important now that a chaotic era was imminent.

Furthermore, the research on the Divine Birth Ceremony was too important. Once he began, he would have to dedicate himself to it completely, and the current situation clearly didn’t allow for that.

As time passed and the "cool-down period" ended, the various nations and factions in the Endless Sea were already at each other’s throats, and the conflict had reached a fever pitch.

Just a couple of days ago, several Tier Four Miracle Mages were even killed!

For now, the flames of war were confined to the Endless Sea. After all, the Real World was the home base everyone had spent years building. The cost of fighting there would be too painful, so they were still exercising relative restraint.

But as time went on, this restraint would slowly crumble. War was inevitable!

Isaac now had quite a few people under him. While he wouldn’t say he was managing a massive enterprise, it still required some effort. Besides, even if he hadn’t founded—or simply ignored—this Wizard Organization, Isaac was still a member of the Solomons Family and the Flesh Sect.
