Chapter 320: Chapter 235: Scum — Soron

As the Demonic Puppet Legion actively explored the Wilderness, Isaac returned to his territory. After quickly arranging a laboratory for Soron, he once again plunged into the secret chamber, which was locked away behind layer upon layer of Magic Seals.

Now that the Dimension World was capable of storing data, the research into Deities could finally, officially, begin!

Inside the secret chamber, Isaac stared excitedly at the golden blood floating in the air. He took two deep breaths, forcibly suppressing his excitement, before a ripple flickered in his eyes and a dark fissure wavered in and out of existence behind him.

In an instant, invisible streams of data passed through Isaac’s body, flowing directly into the Dimension World to be stored.

And compared to before, Isaac was clearly more proficient with this Analysis. Even though the amount of data being infused was greater, his expression remained calm and composed the entire time.

Of course, this was also related to Isaac’s newly acquired Talent Magic, Imaginary Number Creation.

Although data was only tangentially related to Imaginary Number Magic, it still improved his data processing capabilities to some extent.

Before long, the shimmer in Isaac’s eyes slowly dissipated. With a wave of his hand, the Divine Blood floating in the air immediately flew in front of him, and he sealed it within a delicate test tube.

The data within the Divine Blood had been completely extracted. For Isaac, this drop of blood was now nothing more than a somewhat high-level material.

After extracting the data from the Divine Blood, Isaac didn’t rush back to his research. Instead, he turned and walked toward another secret chamber, which was also sealed by many layers.

Naturally, this chamber also held a part of that unknown Deity—the Divine Flesh!

Compared to the noble and sacred appearance of the Divine Blood, the Divine Flesh looked far more bizarre and twisted. Although it also emanated a golden luster and its surface was streaked with fine golden threads, as a piece of flesh, its appearance was bound to be unsettling.

The piece was about half the size of a fist. Its surface, apart from the fine, sacred golden threads, was covered in particles that resembled fleshy tumors. And due to Isaac’s techniques, this piece of Divine Flesh had not only recovered some of its power but also regained a certain vitality. It pulsed gently in the air as if breathing, looking exceptionally unsettling!

It was the kind of unsettling that not even the Divine Spirit Aura from a True God could diminish!

Or perhaps, it was the sacredness of the Divine Spirit Aura that made it seem all the more bizarre.

As the one responsible for its creation, however, Isaac had nothing to fear. He knew full well that it only looked unsettling. Besides, even though he hadn’t been a Wizard for long, he had seen plenty. He had witnessed things far more sinister, more twisted, and more sanity-shattering than this.

’What was this small piece of flesh in comparison?’

Thus, after entering, he directly raised his hand, palm facing the Divine Flesh. A ripple flowed through his eyes as a massive amount of information once again poured in.

During this process, the Demon Eye on Isaac’s forehead opened once more, curiously watching the piece of flesh floating in the air as Isaac performed his Analysis. For the being within the eye, this scene was still somewhat of a novelty.

In the current era, it wasn’t unheard of for Wizards to analyze the power of a Deity. There were even those who had dissected one.

However, the old codger connected to Isaac’s Demon Eye had clearly never seen such a thing. In the era when It was active, Deities were high and mighty; what business did mortals have interfering with them?

Of course, while It was curious, its curiosity was all it could be. It was only an Observation and wouldn’t affect Isaac’s experiment, so he paid no mind to the wide-open Demon Eye on his forehead and continued to pour all his energy into the Analysis of the Divine Flesh.

After analyzing the Divine Flesh, Isaac took a short break, then entered two more secret chambers in succession. He analyzed the data from the Divine Bone and the Divine Fragment, respectively. Just like the Divine Blood and Divine Flesh, these two items had lost all their Divine Power by the time they came into Isaac’s possession, but after being nurtured by him, they had all recovered some of their former radiance.

The Divine Bone was a golden bone, while the Divine Fragment was a brilliantly multi-colored Crystal Stone.

In truth, these so-called golden and multi-colored hues weren’t the actual colors of the Deity’s body. They were simply a phenomenon created by the unsuppressed Divine Spirit Aura reacting with Magic Power.

Under normal circumstances, a Deity’s appearance was actually quite ordinary.

However, these were all unimportant details. After successfully collecting all the information contained within the four parts of the Deity’s corpse, Isaac once again threw himself completely into his research.

As for developing the Wilderness and managing the Wizard Organization...

...that was all left in the hands of Silver Knight and Lorna.

There was no need for discussion regarding the former. As the first Demonic Puppet Mechanical Body to be given Activation by Isaac, Silver Knight held a very special status among the Activated Demonic Puppets. Furthermore, before his Activation, he had been a top-tier, High Level product. Therefore, whether in terms of combat power or status, the entire Demonic Puppet Legion was completely convinced of his capabilities. Entrusting this matter to him was no problem at all.

As for the latter...

To be honest, when it came solely to Knowledge reserves and research ability, Lorna was lacking by a wide margin, even when compared to a group of down-on-their-luck Grand Wizards and Official Wizards. After all, Lorna’s interests didn’t lie in that area.

Even though Isaac had force-fed her a great deal of Knowledge, her lack of personal drive meant she was simply unable to put that Knowledge to effective use, so it was only natural that she couldn’t measure up to them.
