Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 345: Soul Splitting Thousand Gatherings
Chapter 345 -346: Soul Splitting Thousand Gatherings
“To keep the plan from being discovered, he insisted on facing those three from the Tower of Fallen Stars in his Divine Spirit form.”
“In the end, he was killed.”
“By the time the family received reliable information and confirmed that all of Angelson’s avatars were dead, ten years had passed. After ten years, it was too late for anything!”
Andeta looked at Andre and sighed.
“With the family’s power, it took ten years?”
Andre looked at Andeta, immediately voicing his doubt. From his perspective, with the family’s power, it shouldn’t have taken ten years to learn all of this.
In fact, the family should have known the moment it happened.
“Andre, your Realm is still somewhat lacking. There are some things you simply haven’t been exposed to yet.”
Antaromen spoke up, answering Andre’s question in Andeta’s stead.
“A Wizard conquest isn’t as simple as attacking a world and slaughtering every race within it.”
“The most crucial step, the one that signifies a successful conquest, is to guide the descent of the Wizard Civilization Will and allow it to devour the world consciousness of the conquered worlds.”
“Under such circumstances, it’s difficult for even the Ancestors to observe events through the interference of the Wizard Civilization Will.”
“That is precisely why this tragedy occurred.”
After Antaromen finished speaking, Andre nodded.
Back in the Cosmic Sea World, he had briefly come into contact with the Wizard Civilization Will when he broke through to become a Level 3 Wizard.
He knew exactly what kind of Power it was. A mere fragment of it—perhaps only one hundred-millionth of the Wizard Civilization Will—had been enough to completely immobilize the Cosmic Sea World’s consciousness and assimilate it.
In the face of such vast and immense Power, even a Level 8 Great Mage like Andeta would have difficulty observing any of this.
“So, the intention is for me to continue this plan, correct?”
Andre took a deep breath, looked at the ancestors before him, and asked earnestly.
“Yes, that’s correct. You are the most suitable candidate.”
The Eight Ancestors looked at Andre and nodded seriously.
“Previously, Angelson didn’t record the full details of the plan.”
“So we began to wonder if he left the complete plan in special locations—places that only he could access.”
“Now that he is dead, only you have awakened his Bloodline. Therefore, you are the most suitable person to access these special places.”
“It’s not just that. It’s also because of one of Angelson’s Talent Witchcrafts, called Soul Splitting Thousand Gatherings.”
The Eight Ancestors looked at Andre, explaining why he was the first choice to restart the plan.
Just as the Eight Ancestors finished speaking, a female Truth Great Wizard sitting beside them looked at Andre and spoke slowly.
“And you are…?” Andre asked, blinking as he looked at this ancestor.
“If we were to discuss seniority alone, we could talk for days and not be finished. You can call me Senzu. I walk the Path of Nature.”
Senzu introduced herself, and Andre nodded in acknowledgment.
“Soul Splitting Thousand Gatherings… this Witchcraft must be related to the Soul, right?”
Andre brought up the Witchcraft. From the ancestors’ expressions, it seemed this was the key to how their ancestor Angelson had managed to bring the plan to the brink of completion.
“This is an exceptionally special Witchcraft. It can split a person’s Soul into a thousand pieces and then re-form them.”
“While separated, each piece of the Soul is equivalent to a brand-new individual. But that is not the limit of this Witchcraft.”
“The truly formidable aspect of this Witchcraft is that even if every single Soul is destroyed, the user can still be resurrected from a mere Soul Fragment. Furthermore, each individual Soul can corrupt the Souls of other living beings.”
Senzu extended a hand and pointed, causing a Light Ball to form in front of her. The Light Ball then began to demonstrate the properties and functions of Soul Splitting Thousand Gatherings for Andre.
“Then, Ancestor—!” Andre subconsciously started to ask about a resurrected Angelson, but he quickly stopped himself.
‘In the presence of three Red Sun Great Wizards, even if Angelson could revive once with this Witchcraft, what then? Wouldn’t he just be killed a second time by them?!’
“He didn’t use this Witchcraft!”
Senzu looked at Andre and shook her head.
‘He didn’t use it. Then again, using it would have been about the same as not using it.’
Beings at the Moon-Destroying Level are notoriously difficult to kill. That’s why when trying to eliminate a being at the Moonlight Level, one typically employs soul-attacking artifacts, Witchcraft, or other items to ensure their complete annihilation.
‘Under that kind of assault, even if Angelson had used this Witchcraft, it would have been nearly impossible for him to survive.’
“So, the ancestors suspect that I have inherited this Witchcraft?”
Andre asked, seeking confirmation from his family’s ancestors.
“Yes. This is also why we planned to bring you back to the family only after you became a Morning Star.”
“Because only after becoming a Morning Star will your consciousness be protected by the world, preventing any errors from occurring.”
“If your consciousness becomes corrupted, your memories will be corrupted as well. And corrupted memories mean the failure of the plan.” ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
“Even if a new consciousness were to continue executing the plan, that is not what we need.”
“Only by relying on the sanctuary of a world’s consciousness can you prevent the consciousness generated by an individual Soul from being replaced.”
Senzu looked at Andre and nodded.
“Er… there’s something I’m not sure if I should say, but if you ancestors are dead set on me carrying out this plan, I might as well tell you… you’ve chosen the wrong person. And I mean, *really* wrong.”
Andre said this after he felt he had a sufficient grasp of the plan.
“What did you say?” Senzu frowned, looking at Andre.
“I’m serious. I didn’t inherit that Witchcraft.”
Andri looked at Senzu and stated bluntly.
“That doesn’t matter. Once you become a Morning Star, the mists that Angelson placed within the Bloodline will lift, passing the Witchcraft on to you.”
Seeing that Andre was saying he was unsuitable for the plan simply because he hadn’t inherited the Witchcraft, the Eight Ancestors immediately tried to reassure him.
“Eight Ancestors, it’s not like that. I walk a path that I have carved out for myself.”
“To carve out this path, I invested everything I have into it—including a portion of my Bloodline.”
“Therefore, I’m not certain I’ll be able to successfully inherit this Witchcraft, even after I become a Morning Star.”
When Andre finished speaking, Senzu, the Eight Ancestors, Antaromen, and all the other Truth Great Wizards stared at him, their eyes wide with shock.
