Chapter 110: Chapter 110: A Teacher’s Foresight

Andre flew back to the Wizard Inheritance Hall. He had just set foot on the steps.

Radak appeared before him.

"Teacher!" Andre stopped and looked at Radak.

"You’ve got some real nerve. Weren’t you afraid Krell would kill you for his kin? From that distance, I wouldn’t have been able to save you in time!"

Radak glared at Andre, his face a mask of fury, but beneath the anger was a hint of admiration.

After all, if one of his disciples was bullied and did nothing, they shouldn’t go around telling people whose student they were.

"Why should I have been afraid?" Andre asked, pulling two vials from his robes.

Radak’s eyes fell on the two Potions in Andre’s hands, and a look of profound apprehension flashed across his face.

The reason was the two Potions in Andre’s hands.

The first was a Spirit Potion, capable of enhancing one’s Soul Power.

The second was a Blood Source Potion, which could increase Physical Power and the concentration of one’s Bloodline.

However, few people knew that the Spirit Potion and Blood Source Potion could be mixed.

When these two Power-enhancing Potions were combined and mixed with a few other ingredients, they transformed into a deadly poison.

The Spiritual Blood Poison. This poison would corrode the body and corrupt the Soul.

Even a Morning Star Great Wizard, if forced to ingest a vial of Spiritual Blood Poison, would be left powerless and weakened for some time.

And that was its effect on a Morning Star Great Wizard. If used on a Level 3 or Level 2 Wizard, the effects would be even more devastating.

If used on an Official Wizard, it could even cause them to degenerate back into a mere mortal.

The fact that Andre dared to show them meant the final ingredients were already in place. All that was left was to mix the two Potions.

"You..." A smile spread across Radak’s face as he looked at Andre and nodded in satisfaction.

"I had no choice. Selena is Teacher Krell’s kin, after all, and I’m just a disciple he’s met once. I know very well who he’d consider more important."

Andre put the two Potions away, a look of resignation on his face as he looked at Radak.

After Krell returned to the academy, Andre wasn’t sure what Krell’s attitude toward him would be. To prevent the worst-case scenario...

...Andre had used every last one of the Magic Plants in his possession to concoct these two Potions.

Now, besides this pair, the most potent poison he had on him was the half-finished Colorless Potion, followed by the Thousand Extremes Potion.

Other than those, and a few powerful sedatives, he was completely out of poisons.

"You... you’re even bolder than I am!"

Radak looked at Andre, walked down the steps, and took his hand, leading him into the Wizard Inheritance Hall.

Soon, Radak had led Andre to the center of the Wizard Inheritance Hall.

Here, there was a chair.

"Sit," Radak said, pointing to the chair.

"Me?" Andre pointed to himself, incredulous.

"Yes. In another forty years, I have to go to the Main Institute. When that time comes, this seat will be yours."

Radak nodded at Andre and pushed him down into the chair.

Andre had just started to stand when Radak waved a hand. The Wizard Inheritance Hall’s Witchcraft Array activated, pressing him firmly back down into the chair.

"Teacher?" Andre looked at Radak, confused.

According to what Radak had said, he still had several decades before leaving the Senbai World. So why was he being made to sit in this chair now?

"The expedition is about to begin!"

Radak’s hands were a blur of motion. With one, he etched a Witchcraft Curse Seal into the air; with the other, he waved his Magic Staff, continuously activating the Witchcraft Arrays in the Wizard Inheritance Hall.

"In a distant Otherworld, there’s no telling what dangers you might face."

"So, for your safety, I am binding you to the Wizard Inheritance Hall."

"Should you encounter a life-threatening danger in the Otherworld, the Wizard Inheritance Hall will unleash all its Power to pull you back."

Radak’s words cleared up Andre’s confusion.

"Teacher!" Andre’s eyes widened, and tears welled up within them.

Ever since he had transmigrated to this world, Radak was the only one who had ever truly looked out for him.

"This is one of the few things I can do to help you."

Radak waved his Magic Staff. A beam of Golden Light descended from above, enveloping Andre. It finally coalesced into a mysterious Witchcraft Curse Seal and vanished between his eyebrows.

"After you leave, I must also take the step to become a Morning Star. I am confident, but confidence doesn’t guarantee success."

"During that same time, my own teacher must also take a step to advance from the Moonlight Realm and become a Red Sun Great Wizard."

"Our fates as master and disciples are linked. When we all attempt our breakthroughs simultaneously, the people I’ve offended, and the enemies my teacher has made—they will surely try to interfere. They will target me specifically, using my life or death to disrupt my teacher."

"Although my teacher’s heart is resolute in its pursuit of the Truth, at such a critical moment, any interference could cause the breakthrough to fail."

"I can’t gamble on my teacher’s focus. And I can’t afford to gamble at all, because I, too, will be taking the most important step of my life."

"When that time comes, do not return to the academy, no matter what. Don’t come back until you receive a message from me."

Radak looked at Andre, his tone calm but tinged with a hint of melancholy.

Andre blinked and nodded. He hadn’t realized there was another reason behind all of this.

"For the next few years, don’t wander too far from the academy. If you need anything, you can enter the academy’s various Secret Realms."

"If you can buy something with Magic Stones, then buy it."

"This concerns the expedition, and it concerns your life. Be cautious in all things."

Hearing this, Andre stood up from the chair and nodded solemnly at Radak.

Radak waved his hand, and several books flew to Andre’s side.

"The path you’ve chosen is an incredibly difficult one. I can’t help you on it, but these books are the only things that can," Radak said, his words full of meaning.

A jolt went through Andre, and he nodded seriously.

"Alright, I must go and prepare what I need as well."

With a wave of his hand, Radak sent Andre back to the door of his own room.

’A true teacher plans far ahead for their disciple’s path!’

Andre looked toward the center of the Wizard Inheritance Hall, understanding for the first time the meaning of a saying from his past life.

He then picked up the books at his feet, took them into his room, and shut the door.

It was time to begin his preparations to become an Official Wizard.
