Chapter 1376: Unexpected guests

When Lin Fan came out of the portal, he was surprised to find that Yue Lan was waiting for him on this side.

She knew that he was coming since Rokuko had been here with her.

With her two dungeon cores, she was able to see what happened on both continents. This was an ability that was superior to Lin Fan’s ability to move between the two continents.

But it wasn’t as if it was an ability that was omnipotent.

The most that it could be used for was sending information between the two places like right now where Yue Lan knew to expect Lin Fan.

He had thought that they would just send one representative, but they actually sent everyone to come and see him.

Sitting in front of him was the Heavenly Demon, the Fire Fist King, the Poison King, and Ye Qing Huan. With how they were sitting there, it was as if they had been waiting for him to appear for a long time.

The moment that they appeared, the first thing that was asked was, “Where have you been?”

The Heavenly Demon was the one that asked this and he even narrowed his eyes to look at Lin Fan as he asked this. It was almost as if he was compelling Lin Fan to answer this question.

Though from the side, Ye Qing Huan did hit his arm after he asked this.

Lin Fan wasn’t surprised to hear this question, he had already been expecting this.

There was no doubt that the Heavenly Demon Sect elders that came back had already reported what happened on the magic continent back. So that was why they would have known about the disappearing pure elemental energy.

When it came to making pure elemental energy disappear like this, they knew that there was only one person that was capable of doing something like this. Or at least there was only one person that they were aware of that was capable of doing this.

The Heavenly Demon didn’t respond as he continued looking at Lin Fan with the same look on his face.

After a moment of silence, he finally said, “We’ve checked this city when we arrived with our spiritual sense and we found no trace of you. Unless you have some kind of special array that can hide your presence, I doubt that all three of us would have missed you. So unless you have that array, I assume that you were somewhere else.”

The accusatory tone of his voice made it very clear what he was implying.

This time, even though it seemed like Ye Qing Huan wasn’t happy with what her master was saying, she didn’t actually do anything to help Lin Fan.

This time, she looked at him as she waited for his answer as well.

After all, there was no reason for her master to lie about something like this.

It was a matter that concerned the very safety of the Heavenly Demon Sect and was something that they had to get to the bottom of.

Though from the look on her face, it seemed like she was willing to go against them if it seemed like things were going wrong.

The Heavenly Demon narrowed his eyes even more when he heard this before turning to look at the Fire Fist King and the Poison King.

When the two of them saw him looking at them, they didn’t respond at first. But after a while, the two of them nodded showing that they could agree with this.

It was hard for the two of them to agree to this since there was an obligation that they had to the Heavenly Demon Sect. Though they also had an obligation to Lin Fan as his master and they should do a little to help him.

So in the end, they all agreed that they wouldn’t tell anyone what Lin Fan would tell them.

The three of them didn’t say anything at first as they kept looking at him with the same expression, but that changed over time since they could see the serious look that was in Lin Fan’s eyes.
