Chapter 1370: Revealing a bit on this side

“Well, what do you have to say for yourself?”

That was the first question that was asked when Lin Fan walked into the room.

It might have sounded like an aggressive question, but it really wasn’t.

It was more that they were curious just how he had captured all of those people from the righteous sects.

When they received the report, there was a part of them that couldn’t believe what they had read.

After all, this just seemed like it was too incredible to believe.

Only it was hard to ignore it when they saw all of the people in the dungeon.

Since it was a dungeon that was created by Haku, it was only natural that she would have access to the surveillance inside of the dungeon. She was able to easily see all of the people from the righteous sects that had been captured, which confirmed that this report that they received was the truth.

Which was why they were curious how it was the truth.

But this wasn’t what Lin Fan was here to discuss.

“I’m sure that you’ve already read the reports and know what they were planning to do.”

Haku and the ministers were caught off guard since they didn’t think that this would be Lin Fan’s response.

From what they thought of him, they only thought that he would help them find this information to avoid clashing with the other side. But now it seemed like he was even directing them to fight against them.

For Haku who knew more about Lin Fan than the others, she couldn’t help feeling a bit of disbelief that he would be acting this way.

However, she was curious to see what he had to say about this. Which was why she just gave a simple nod in response.

Seeing this, Lin Fan said, “I have a way to deal with their plan without any risks. It’s just that I need you to trust me to take care of it on my own.”

As soon as his voice fell, there were many glares that were cast in his direction.

They could only watch with confused looks as the item became smaller and smaller until it disappeared from Lin Fan’s hand. When they came back to their senses, they found that this item had completely disappeared.

However, they could still feel traces of the pure elemental energy coming from Lin Fan.

In fact, there were even traces of flames that were still wrapped around his hand that came from that flower.

The pure elemental energy item that Lin Fan had absorbed was known as the Vermilion Lilac, which released pure and gentle flames that could be used to heal people.

Once he finished absorbing the Vermilion Lilac, Lin Fan looked at one of the ministers who was standing there in a daze and pointed his hand at him. When he pointed his hand at the minister like this, there was a flame that was released from it.

This flame was aimed right at that minister who didn’t have time to get out of the way. Or rather, it was better to say that he didn’t move because he could feel the pressure from behind him.

It was Haku who was pressuring this minister to remain still since she wanted to see what these flames would do.

This minister was one of the generals of the Laver Empire, so he was someone that got injured quite often. Though for someone of his level, it wasn’t as if these injuries actually really bothered him.

But the moment that the flames made contact with the injuries, they started healing them at a rate that everyone could see with their naked eyes.

In no time at all, the injuries that had been on this minister completely disappeared without a trace.

No one said anything as they narrowed their eyes to look carefully at the general that was being healed by the flames.

Eventually Haku broke that silence by saying, “So it seems like you’re capable of absorbing these pure elemental energy items and using their power for yourself. I’ve seen one like you before, but it’s rare to have this kind of power.”

Everyone looked at Haku with surprised looks, including Lin Fan.

After all, he had never heard of someone having the same power as him before.

If there was someone that had the same power as him, it was only natural that he would want to meet that person. Since they were someone that Haku knew, then it would only make sense that they would be much older than him.

They would know a lot more about the power that the two of them shared.

Though Lin Fan certainly wouldn’t have mentioned the age thing when he asked Haku.

In the end, Haku came to a decision, “Alright, we’ll let you take care of those traps that they’ve set up. But in the end, this is a matter for our Laver Empire and our continent, so you’ll have to leave things to us.”

When she said this, there were determined looks that appeared on the faces of the ministers.

This was their home, so it was only normal that they would be determined to protect this place.

Lin Fan understood this as well and it wasn’t as if he was planning to do anything to help those from the righteous sects. They were on different sides to begin with and if they were committed to doing this, it was only normal that they would have to accept the consequences of their actions.

Seeing the look on Lin Fan’s face, Haku just said, “Then get ready for their next move. Since we’ve already intercepted them, it won’t be long before they make their move.”

All of the ministers once again revealed determined expressions.

Lin Fan did the same since he knew that she was right.

There was no doubt that the righteous sects would be on edge after learning that their elders had disappeared. They would be certain that something would have happened on this magic continent.
