Chapter 1288: Who is this?

Once Li Xiao was knocked out, it wasn’t as if the others were able to do anything against Lin Fan.

He didn’t even bother knocking them out with his own fist, he just waved his hand and sent them all flying.

Everyone that was picked up and thrown off the stage had confused looks on their faces as they had no idea what it even was that had carried them off the stage like that. They just felt that something invisible picked them up and tossed them out.

Since they couldn’t understand what happened, it was only natural that they would be suspicious of this.

It was all because none of them actually recognized Lin Fan or had an idea of who he was. Since they didn’t know who he was, it became natural to suspect that he was someone that was just causing trouble.

They thought that he had somehow cheated when he defeated them all.

When one of the elders said this, the elders all suddenly smiled.

It didn’t seem like they cared about the disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect being wrecked by Lin Fan.

In fact, it seemed like they were just having fun with all of this.

After discussing for a bit, one of the elders suddenly asked, “How much do you want to bet on him wiping them out in a minute?”

“Forget a minute, they’ll be wiped out in just a few seconds against him. None of them are a match for him.” Another elder said with a scoff.

The way that the elders spoke was as if they really didn’t care at all about the disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect that would be affected by this. It was as if it wasn’t their problem at all what happened to them.

That was just how it was in a demonic sect, but that wasn’t the main reason.

The main reason was that they had taken Lin Fan’s bribes.

Since they would be receiving special training areas from Lin Fan through the arrays that would be constructed, it wasn’t as if they felt anything bad towards him. At the same time, they would have to rely on him in the future to maintain those arrays.

This time, it seemed like Lin Fan wasn’t being ignored by everyone.

He had already eliminated one of the favourites and he was now being matched with another one of the favourites. No one would be able to ignore him when he was put into a bracket like this.

But at the same time, it seemed like most of them were wondering if Lin Fan could do it again. They were wondering just what kind of power Lin Fan possessed that he was able to do all of this.

As soon as the match started, there was no hesitation at all from the others as they surrounded him.

Even that other favoured person didn’t seem to care as he worked with the others against Lin Fan.

That was because this person was weaker than Li Xiao.

Li Xiao was one of the top three while this person was barely in the top ten. He wasn’t even confident in defeating Li Xiao, so it would be strange if he felt confident in defeating Lin Fan.

When he was surrounded like this, Lin Fan showed no fear at all as he said, “Do you want to go out yourself or do you want me to do it?”

When they heard this, they couldn’t help narrowing their eyes to look at Lin Fan.

Before any of them could even react, there was this pressure that suddenly fell onto them and they were crushed into the ground. No matter how they tried to fight against it, they found that none of them were able to move an inch.

The only thing that they could do was look up at Lin Fan as if they couldn’t believe what was happening.

They could only look at him from the ground as they wondered what it was that was holding them in place like this.

After a while, Lin Fan looked at the elder that was in charge of refereeing this match as if he was asking him, “Is it over?”

The elder revealed a bitter smile when he saw this.

Even if he didn’t want to call it, it wasn’t as if there was anything that he could do since all the other contenders were on the ground. The only one that he could hope for was the one that was favoured, but he too was on the ground.

It seemed like none of them would be able to do anything…

“It’s over.” He said with a sigh in the end.

With that, Lin Fan waved his hand and sent everyone out of the arena before they could react.

Bitter looks appeared on their faces when this happened.

It turned out that he could have easily taken them out from the beginning, but he chose not to do so. He chose to pin them on the ground like this, as if he wanted to show his superiority.

Though they felt embarrassed, this did deeply drive in the difference in power between Lin Fan and them.
