Lin Fan couldn’t stop the bitter feeling that filled him after seeing everything that Ye Qing Huan did.

He just couldn’t understand why she would do something like this.

After all, she had acted like a proper family with her father and mother. One would think that the Ye Family was close like this, so they wouldn’t be acting this way.

The other cousins shouted for this bulky cousin to finish it quickly.

Ye Qing Huan on the other hand was calm with a smile on her face.

But when Lin Fan looked back, he could see the way that Ye Qing Huan looked at him.

“Finish him quickly.” That was what she was saying with her eyes.

It seemed that she wasn’t planning on showing any mercy at all towards these cousins, even though Lin Fan had been planning on holding back so he didn’t disgrace them too much.

But since this was what Ye Qing Huan wanted…

Lin Fan was more scared of making her unhappy than to make these cousins angry with him.

Not to mention that it was already clear that they were angry with him in the first place.

“I’ll make this quick.” Ye Zhuang said before slamming down his club towards Lin Fan.

Only the moment before it hit him, there was this layer of water that appeared that dissipated the force that the club had been swung at. It seemed like the club just wasn’t able to make it through this layer of water with how it rippled.

Those ripples showed the force that had been dissipated when the layer of water received this swing of the club.

“You…” That was all Ye Zhuang was able to say before he was slammed down onto the ground.

There clearly wasn’t anything touching him, but there was this force that Ye Zhuang couldn’t resist that slammed him down into the ground. No matter how he tried, it was just stronger than any force that he could exert.

It really seemed like it was hopeless trying to go against this force that was holding him down.

The cousins all had shocked looks on their faces as they couldn’t understand what was happening.

It was clear that Lin Fan wasn’t doing anything to Ye Zhuang, so it didn’t make sense that he was the one that was suffering like this. It really felt like he was using some kind of trick…

“Stop messing around, Ye Zhuang!”

“Get up and beat him up already!”

But no matter what they said, it didn’t seem like Ye Zhuang was able to answer them as he had his teeth gritted while looking like he was struggling against something.

After a while, one of the cousins finally said, “I can’t take your tricks any longer! I’ll show you what it means to mess with the Ye Family!”

“Come all at once.” Lin Fan calmly said in response to this.

All of the cousins froze when they heard this, as if they couldn’t understand what Lin Fan was saying. It wasn’t that they didn’t understand his words, it was just that they couldn’t believe that he was saying something like this to them.

After a while, they finally seemed to come back to their senses.

When they came back to their senses, it didn’t seem like they were going to let this matter slide.

So even if it was a bit disgraceful, they chose to gang up on Lin Fan.

With all of them working together like this, it didn’t seem like Lin Fan would be able to do anything. It seemed like they would surround him and then beat him up from every angle.

The problem was that the same layer of water appeared when they tried to attack him.

The same thing happened where all of their attacks were negated by this layer of water.

When it was over, the only thing that they saw was the ground since there was this strange force that was pressing down on them. It seemed that the same strange force that had been pressing down on Ye Zhuang was now acting on them.

When they felt this force on them, they realized why he hadn’t been able to do anything.

That was all that they could think as they felt this pressure on them.

In the end, there wasn’t a single one of the cousins that were able to do a single thing to Lin Fan.

With things ending like this, there was this strange feeling that filled Lin Fan.

He really didn’t expect things to be this easy…

It seemed that the Ye Family direct descendants were even weaker than he thought.

After all, they would have died if he didn’t release it.

Ye Qing Huan didn’t give him an answer even though he looked at her like this.

Instead, she just went forward to put a kiss on his cheek before saying, “That was your reward for winning.”

Then without another word, she started dragging him away without caring about the cousins that were still on the ground.

As they were leaving, Lin Fan saw that there were some people that came out to help them. These were servants of the Ye Family that had been silently watching and only came out to help after everything was over.

It didn’t seem like they were here to support them, they were just here to make sure that they didn’t die.

Once they were done, they actually left the Ye Family direct descendants on the ground as if they were letting them pick themselves up.

Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a strange look when he saw this.

Once they were far enough that they couldn’t be seen anymore, Ye Qing Huan suddenly stopped and turned around to say, “I’m sure that you’re wondering why I treat them like that.”

Lin Fan didn’t give a response, but the look on his face was more than enough to show what he was thinking.

Ye Qing Huan said with a smile, “It’s simply because they don’t think of us as family in the first place, so it isn’t as if there’s a need for us to act like family around them. If we give them an opportunity, all they will do is stab us in the back.”

Another strange look appeared on Lin Fan’s face after he heard this.
