Lin Fan just calmly took the dagger and said, “Thank you.”

The uncle gave a nod without saying anything before turning around.

While turning around though, he looked at Ye Qing Huan as if he was asking her if he could leave or not.

Ye Qing Huan gave a simple nod in response to this before taking Lin Fan’s hand and leading him away.

When they walked away, Lin Fan could feel the glare that was coming from behind him.

He didn’t look back, but it really felt like it was about to pierce his back at any moment.
