Chapter 1169: Not alone

In the end, Lin Fan and Mu Bao Bao were sent off to another country that was along the way.

It seemed like his masters wouldn’t allow him to send Mu Bao Bao back, so he had no choice but to bring her along.

Lin Fan shook his head with another bitter smile before asking, “So what are you doing here? I don’t think that this place is important enough for someone like you to come here, right?”

“Shouldn’t the same be said about you now that you’ve taken two of the Eight Kings as your masters?” Ye Qing Huan said with the same teasing smile.

Lin Fan was caught off guard when he heard this, but then he realized that she was right.

After all, his status was indeed different than before.

But since they had this status, then they shouldn’t have come to a place like this.

Seeing the way that Lin Fan looked at her, Ye Qing Huan just casually said, “It’s fine, let’s go and have a meal first.”

She didn’t even wait for Lin Fan or Mu Bao Bao to say anything before leading the way forward.

When they saw this, the two of them had no choice but to follow Ye Qing Huan to the restaurant that she chose. Though the two of them certainly had complicated feelings about all of this since they had no idea what Ye Qing Huan was doing.

When they arrived, Ye Qing Huan acted like there was nothing wrong as she started ordering dishes all by herself.

Once it seemed like she was done, she looked at the two of them and asked, “What? You’re not going to order anything?”

Mu Bao Bao for some reason was incited by this and started ordering some dishes as well while Lin Fan just sat there with a bitter look on his face.

When the dishes were ordered and they were just waiting, that was when Ye Qing Huan caught them off guard again.

“So you’re one of the ones that I heard of.” She said while looking at Mu Bao Bao.

There was no need for her to say anything else, just these words were more than enough to understand what she meant.

That made Mu Bao Bao narrow her eyes to look at Ye Qing Huan for a bit before slowly giving a nod.

Ye Qing Huan didn’t seem to mind this as she continued by saying, “You’re from the Deng Family, right? That old man is planning on breaking through to the next realm, so it can’t be said that you’re that far from reaching the same level as us.”

Mu Bao Bao couldn’t help narrowing her eyes even more when she heard this.

She didn’t seem to like the way that Ye Qing Huan said this, but she could also tell that Ye Qing Huan didn’t actually seem to mean anything by this. With the way that she spoke, it was as if she was just stating a fact.

Ye Qing Huan didn’t mind that Mu Bao Bao didn’t say anything as she continued by saying, “It’s not as if I have anything against you, I actually want to get along better with you.”

Mu Bao Bao’s expression became strange after she heard this.

The way that she looked at Ye Qing Huan was as if she was trying to figure out if she was being serious or not. However, Ye Qing Huan just looked at her as if she was being sincere.

In the end, Mu Bao Bao really didn’t know what to make of this.

When Lin Fan saw the two of them turning to look at him, the bitter look on his face filled with even more bitterness.

He had been silently sitting on the side since he didn’t want to get involved in this matter, but now it seemed like they were dragging him in.

But still he didn’t use the Appraisal Eyes since if they were people that Ye Qing Huan called different, there was no doubt that there was something special about them.

A genuinely disappointed look appeared on Ye Qing Huan’s face this time before she said, “Why don’t you want to play along today? You didn’t have a problem playing along before.”
