Chapter 1935 1935: Cap 1931: Conflicting plans
Pov Lena:
Around me was only emptiness, a space I had just created, a secluded place for me to act without restrictions, and in this place I understand the hand on which a butterfly lands.
Its wings were a somewhat ethereal white, and its body seemed covered in dark tree bark. Its two antennae resembled tree branches, and its ruby eyes resembled precious jewels.
One seemed simple, an Aura that seemed to contain the very space it was in, forged with my Concept.
“My first Origin Artifact… I will call it the Natural Butterfly.” (Me)
“You are beautiful, my little one, but not perfect, not a new life, but an extension of myself.” (me)
The small butterfly was the size of my palm, but it possesses instincts—my instincts—but it lacks a Soul of its own or even an Existential Spark. Even though it’s an Origin Artifact, it’s still largely incomplete. I’ll need some items later to complete it, but it will never truly be alive since it’s not my type of Concept.
“Come in.” (me)
Suddenly, Lolth enters after waiting for many hours outside for my summons. Her expression was kind, bringing a smile to my face.
“Ma’am…” (Lolth)
“Just Lena, I already warned you.” (me)
“…” (Lolth)
“Lena, I didn’t think the Origin Artifact would be ready.” (Lolth)
“It’s not ready, but I need something for you to better channel my power.” (me)
“In this current attack, my sister and I are out of place. We can’t act personally. Only Zenos and Urd have those privileges.” (Lena)
Cortana and I have already entered this universe as full Entities, so we can’t act personally like the other Entities. Only Zenos, who hasn’t yet awakened as an Entity, and Urd, who was an extraordinary case, are exceptions to this rule.
“Here, take this with you. When you activate it, you can claim the enemy camp for yourself.” (me)
I wave my hand lightly, and the butterfly flies before landing on Lolth’s head, almost becoming a hair ornament.
“Ma’am, what will our plan be?” (Lolth)
“We will attack the Avatar of Curse, and I’m sure Cortana will do the same. With the two of us holding off the enemy’s main force, it will be easier for the others to act as they please.” (me)
As soon as Lolth or any other Avatar embodies an Entity in that place, the enemy will do the same. Hatred always had a fiery temper.
“(What are the chances of everything working out?)” (me)

Pov Cortana:
I was sitting on a moon of some planet, staring at the sun at the center of this star system, something weighing on my mind, a decision that might not be the right one, but still, it will be the one I choose.
“Sarazar!” (me)
“Yes, my lady?” (Sarazar)
Sarazar, standing not far away, looks at me as he kneels. He’s very formal and serious, but at least I like his simplicity.
“Take this.” (me)
“…” (Sarazar)
I take a ring off my finger and toss it to him. The ring looked like a gray rope holding a fragment of bone, the key to a padlock he wouldn’t open.
“Ma’am, this key…” (Sarazar)
“Your only mission is to open the door as soon as a large amount of miasma emerges, but only at that moment. Otherwise, you must attack the universal core, forcing them to act without time to think.” (me)
“As you wish, I will succeed in your name.” (Sarazar)
Sarazar steps away, already knowing what he must do, and with a wave of my hand, he walks away, leaving only mine staring at that sun.
“Are you worried?” (me)
“You hid that thing even from Freya, why release it now?” (Tarzor)
“Zenos’s goal is to create chaos. He’s not thinking about winning or losing, much less considering any danger, which is why I chose this course of action.” (me)
“This is not his way.” (Tarzor)
“That’s the intention. I know exactly what my sister will do. She’s too smart for her own good and values life too much to dare to risk it.” (me)
“As long as we can make the whole situation chaotic, that will be our victory.” (me)
“You’re trusting Zenos too much.” (Tarzor)
“Actually, no… I’m trusting something different.” (me)
“(If I remember correctly, that Infernal Grimoire is possessed by Hatred. I know this from Death’s memories. I can’t tell my sister about it, much less be able to talk to the others.)” (me)
“(If we’re talking about that horrible book, then there are only two things that would make Hatred act like this.)” (me)
“What’s the matter?” (Tarzor)
“Nothing…” (me)
I look to the side where space itself has distorted to form the outline of a Dragon’s face. It reminded me of something.
“Tarzor, you mustn’t let Freya interfere in the battle. Wait until Sarazar’s signal.” (me)
“That’s easy, Luci and Freya rarely engage in combat. Zenos has been keeping her away from the fighting by preparing a ritual.” (Tarzor)
“Hasn’t he given up yet?” (me)
“With Urd and Experiment 89, we no longer need that ritual.” (me)
“It’s been modified. In fact, I don’t even understand what purpose it would serve now; it’s no longer within my scope of understanding.” (Tarzor)
“I see…” (me)
I return to my seat as I feel a change, then I look at the star begin to change color, the yellow flames turning red as the Sun expands, then suddenly she emerges from within with her body as she was born.
“How do you feel?” (me)
“Better, but the Sun’s energy…” (Ibuki)
“It would disperse anyway, so I used it to nourish you.” (me)
“I have a special mission just for you.” (me)

Pov Davoth:
I enter the room, where only two sofas and a table meet. Valius was already sitting on one of the sofas. One glance was enough to notice new injuries and also to notice his distraction, so great that he didn’t even notice my arrival.
I sit on the sofa opposite him and grab something to eat from the table while I wait for him to realize I’m there, which doesn’t take more than a few minutes.
“Davoth…!?” (Valius)
“What happened to you?” (me)
“Ephiliel tried to kill herself this time, and she wasn’t the only one. Many of us have suicidal tendencies, and how things are now…” (Valius)
“Has anyone died yet?” (me)
“No, but many are thinking about dying.” (Valius)
“I thought Lena would take care of them.” (Me)
“Believe me, she helped a lot. If it weren’t for her, there would already be dozens dead.” (Valius)
“Unfortunately, there are some who have sunk too deeply into guilt to return.” (Valius)
“Who are they?” (Me)
“Ephiliel is at the top of the list. We had to render her unconscious; it was impossible to guarantee her safety that way.” (Valius)
“The second would be Kaan. He seems to want to die in combat, but he’s always thinking about Zenos’s daughter, Adella. I’ve heard about her, and it sounds like a horrible story. We’ll have to find something for these stubborn people to cling to.” (Valius)
“That’s easy, give them a reason. Ephiliel will be easier. One of Zenos’s wives is a Universal Tree.” (Me)
“Ephiliel has encountered her before; it almost got her killed.” (Valius)
“I’ve heard about that, but Freya doesn’t know Ephiliel’s past. If she does, she might be able to help save her. Not to mention that Lena might have plans for what to do with her.” (Me)
“Kaan will be more difficult. The only thing that could save him is Zenos’s daughter, but she nearly loses control at the mere mention of his name.” (Me)
Adella would probably kill him with her own hands before feasting on his flesh and blood. Kaan is determined to die, and I don’t think he’ll let his soul be saved. He wants comet destruction just like Ephiliel.
These two are the most serious cases. Everyone else should be able to be convinced, but these two are different.
“I’ll try to take care of them, but not now. I came to you because of the current attack plans.” (Me)
“Arlan told me about this, and the answer is no.” (Valius)
“I need that, and I know you hid it from the Ascended.” (me)
“That’s the relic of my universe, the only thing left, and you want to use it!?” (Valius)
“Do you even know what that thing is!?” (Valius)
“How dangerous is it!?” (Valius)
“There was a time when that thing almost destroyed my universe!” (Valius)
“It took the sacrifice of nine high-order Gods to seal it. I was lucky to reach the seal before the Ascended and manage to hide it for so long!” (Valius)
“I know all this, but it could still be useful and could destroy that thing once and for all.” (me)
“…” (Valius)
As soon as I mentioned the destruction of that thing, Valius’s irritated expression changed to one of surprise, then contemplation.
I know this Artifact better than he does, just as I know the real thing hidden within. I had plans to deal with it later, but since Hate is playing around in this universe, I might as well throw this problem at him—it’s already his own creation.
“(While Hate is busy dealing with this thing, not daring to unleash its full power because of the rules of this universe.)” (me)
“(I’ll have plenty of ways to take care of the rest of the problem, and I might even let Urd regain control of the Universal Cores.)” (me)
