"To be honest, Lee Min-jun and his team might still need to watch the upcoming hunt to see if they can find enough game."

Over at the Russian Survival Association.

Oleg was sharing his thoughts with President Valery: "But Chen Wen and his team really don't need to keep watching, right? In their situation, as long as the weather doesn't take a strange turn, there's no need to worry about survival issues, right?"

Valery nodded upon hearing this: "I agree with you."

Oleg continued: "So can we just let them finish early and free up our manpower to prepare for the next survival challenge? Anyway, I'm getting ready for the next challenge."

Valery replied: "Then go ahead and prepare. I'll have Ivan keep an eye on things over here while he's just finished up some other tasks. But as for letting them finish early, that's impossible, there's no precedent for it."

Hearing this, Oleg felt a bit helpless: "Alright, I need to prepare anyway, and it's best to have someone watching here."

Valery's fingers were continually tapping on the keyboard as if he was writing something.

He asked while writing: "By the way, which challenge are you preparing for next?"

Upon hearing this, Oleg said: "I'm skipping the Sea and Cold challenges, so that just leaves the Heat Extreme Challenge and the Marsh Extreme Challenge."

These two challenges...

Valery stopped his actions and looked at Oleg: "You'd better ask Chen Wen which one he's participating in. Both of these are individual competitions and require eliminating other contestants to gain an advantage. If you encounter him, it's going to be tough for you."

Oleg nodded: "That's true, but the Marsh Extreme Challenge is later, so Chen Wen probably won't wait that long. I'm planning to directly participate in the Marsh Extreme Challenge."

Valery nodded, saying: "Not a bad idea, but I have a feeling you might still run into Chen Wen. Anyway, be careful."

Oleg gave a puzzled look to President Valery: "Are you saying that if Chen Wen participates in the Heat Extreme Challenge, he will immediately join the Marsh Extreme Challenge afterward?"

"Yes, and it's highly likely!"

Valery said: "As long as he doesn't get injured, or the injuries aren't serious in the Heat Extreme Challenge, he might compete back-to-back!"

Oleg thought for a moment and shook his head: "That won't do, I really might run into him this time. If I join the Heat Extreme Challenge, I'll definitely meet him, better to go with the Marsh Extreme Challenge, the chances of bumping into him are lower. Anyway, if I'm likely to face Chen Wen, I can only train thoroughly. You go ahead and handle your work."

...

Over at Chen Wen's camp.

Currently, he has no interest in participating in the next challenge; he's busy taking care of the lynx, training Wuwu, and getting through the rest of the Forest Extreme Challenge.

The winter at Lake Baikal brings long nights and short days, with daylight starting at eight or nine in the morning and darkening by three or four in the afternoon.

Moreover, it is freezing cold, with deep snow accumulation.

The activity area of Chen Wen and the others has been strictly confined by nature to the vicinity of their camp.

Under such conditions, finding ways to pass the time has become the primary task for everyone these days.

Fred prepared some wood and drew some tendons from the game, and with some simple processing, made an instrument similar to a guitar.

Every day he would play this instrument and sing some Russian folk songs.

Gaston and Adam worked together to collect some bark, cut it into pieces, and drew symbols inside using some green tree sap, creating a deck of playing cards.

Roland found some stones and carved out dice from them.

Even Hua Yun was extremely bored and started making bone carvings from the bones of previously hunted animals.

Chen Wen was somewhat better off, as he remained quite busy during this period.

And thus, they managed to survive in the icy wilderness for a month.

After a month, the monotonous survival finally saw some change.

"Chen Wen, today should be the day we agreed with Hunter Arseny for the exchange of supplies, right?"

Roland calculated the time and asked.

Chen Wen paused, went back to the shelter to check the simple calendar he made, and then came out saying: "Yes, it should be today, but we probably don't have much leather left, do we?"

Hearing Chen Wen's question, Adam, who was managing the leather, threw down his playing cards: "Yes, not much left, we can't trade for much more supplies."

Opposite Adam, Gaston angrily pounded on a tree stump: "Shameless! You were clearly about to lose, and now you pull this trick!"

Adam put on a serious face: "Proper business is important!"

Fred chimed in: "But we don't need much more supplies, right? We have enough food to last until the end of this survival challenge, it looks like it's less than a month to go."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

By all accounts, there's just over twenty days left in this survival challenge.

Chen Wen and his team still have about a third of the warehouse filled with meat, along with some other food.

During this period, including Chen Wen, the team, and the animals, no one has gone out hunting. Instead, everyone huddled in the camp to "hibernate."

The lynx also came out upon hearing the conversations of everyone around.

It lazily walked over to Hua Yun, the area closest to the campfire.

Hua Yun looked at the lynx's wound and remarked: "Looks like the wound is fully healed, I have to say, this guy has a really strong recovery ability!"

Chen Wen grinned at the words.

Rather than saying the lynx has a strong recovery ability, it would be more accurate to credit his "Animal Doctor" blessing.

After the lynx was bandaged, along with the help of the blessing, the wound healed very quickly.

Chen Wen sat back by the campfire, playing with a short dagger made from a wild boar's leg bone, and said: "We definitely have enough food, so if you want to save the leather, save it, Arseny and their team will understand."

As Chen Wen spoke, there came a commotion from the distant forest.

Chen Wen paused, then smiled and said: "Speak of the devil, Arseny and their team have arrived."

This time, quite a few people came again.

Besides Arseny, who brought supplies, there were also Mira and her party, eager to visit Wuwu.

Chen Wen greeted them warmly, exchanging greetings with Arseny.

Mira, a bit anxious, waited for Chen Wen to finish exchanging pleasantries with Arseny, and once Chen Wen turned to her, she eagerly asked: "Where's Wuwu? This time I brought some of its favorite treats, is that okay?"

Chen Wen nodded: "Of course, come on, I'll take you to see Wuwu. Arseny, you can chat with Fred and the others for a bit, and I'll be back to chat later."

Arseny waved his hand, signaling that Chen Wen could take their main customer, Mira, wherever he pleased.

With Mira and the four bodyguards accompanying her, Chen Wen walked toward Wuwu's domain.
