When a Blade of Grass Wants to Become Immortal
Chapter 229: Interstellar Deserted Star Farm Woman 36
Chapter 229 -225: Interstellar Deserted Star Farm Woman 36
Rongrong’s words made Ji Xiaosong feel a bit awkward.
“Oh, well, I’ll just have to make it up to him later. I can’t just go and admit I’m the one who erased his memory, can I? And I definitely can’t tell him my original goal was to have the child and get rid of the father, right?”
Neither of those justifications would hold up very well.
“Of course I know that. That’s why you’d better make your wedding decorations a little nicer. If Dai Lixing ever does remember something, at least things won’t get too ugly.”
“I know, I know. I’ll get to work right now. Rongrong, I’m going to put Sui An on you for a while. That way, he’ll be right under my nose.”
“Fine.”
Ji Xiaosong stood up, and Rongrong transformed itself into the shape of a crib.
She placed Ji Sui’an onto Rongrong, then chose an empty plot of land by the sea.
“Alright, when the guests arrive, they can stay here. Everyone will have an ocean-view room. The scenery will be beautiful.”
Ji Xiaosong scanned her surroundings. Then, a formidable Spiritual Power surged around her, its powerful aura instantly filling the air.
Her hands danced rapidly, her ten fingers like nimble butterflies tracing mysterious patterns in the air.
On the once-barren land, enormous foundation stones shot up from the ground like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, each one glowing with a gentle luster.
Under Ji Xiaosong’s control, the foundation stones assembled with perfect precision. In the blink of an eye, they formed the frame of the resort hotel’s main building, its lines fluid, elegant, and grand.
Immediately after, Ji Xiaosong tapped her fingertips, and her Spiritual Power transformed into soft rays of light, like fine threads weaving through the framework.
Wherever the light touched, walls gradually took shape. The pristine white surfaces gave off a soft halo, as if they had been caressed by moonlight.
For the windows, Ji Xiaosong condensed her Spiritual Power into transparent Spirit Crystals and embedded them in the walls.
These Spirit Crystals not only allowed for excellent indoor lighting but also refracted the light into a myriad of colors, adding a dreamlike quality to the hotel.
Inside the hotel, Ji Xiaosong continued to cast her Spells.
Exquisite marble patterns appeared on the living room floor, each tile like a meticulously carved work of art.
Furniture such as sofas and coffee tables also took form under the influence of her Spiritual Power. The sofas were soft and comfortable, with graceful lines, and the coffee tables were adorned with delicate trinkets carved by Spells.
In the bedrooms, soft beds and cozy lamps were arranged just right.
The bathrooms were fully equipped, and the faucets flowed with fresh spring water purified by Spiritual Power.
Around the hotel, Ji Xiaosong created a stunningly beautiful resort area.
With a wave of her hand, tall trees shot up from the ground, their lush branches and leaves providing shade for the entire area.
Winding paths meandered between the trees, paved with colorful pebbles that sparkled brilliantly in the sunlight.
At the end of a path was a shimmering inland river, its water channeled directly from the adjacent sea.
Comfortable lounge chairs and sun umbrellas were placed along the riverbank, surrounded by a profusion of flowers in red, pink, and purple, all vying for attention and filling the air with their fragrance.
Throughout the construction process, Ji Xiaosong would occasionally glance over at Ji Sui’an in the crib Rongrong had become.
The little guy waved his tiny hands excitedly, his eyes wide with curiosity as he watched everything happening around him. He babbled and cooed, as if cheering his mother on.
Watching her child, Ji Xiaosong couldn’t help but smile.

By the time Dai Lixing returned from the Main Star, Ji Xiaosong had already finished building the hotel for their guests.
As for the wedding decorations, she decided to leave that task to Dai Lixing.
Otherwise, if he decided to settle the score later, she wouldn’t know how to appease him.
Ji Xiaosong took Dai Lixing to see the guest accommodations. They stood on high ground as the sea breeze, thick with the scent of salt, swept fiercely past the jagged coastal reefs. Dai Lixing squinted, gazing at the brand-new structure before him.
The slanting sun cast its rays upon the hotel’s white walls, making it look like an exquisite work of art fresh from a top interstellar creation workshop, edged in a warm, golden light.
The distant waves were like tireless, giant machines, turning over and over. Strangely, they seemed to soften the building’s sharp edges, making the entire hotel appear alive, gently rising and falling, breathing softly with the rhythm of the tide.
‘This is a woman’s touch, through and through. Only my Song Song could have an aesthetic so perfectly suited to my tastes.’
The hotel’s glazed window lattices were inlaid with Spirit Crystals. These crystals emitted a unique glow, just like the strange crystals he had once discovered in the ore veins of a mysterious planet during his interstellar explorations.
Back then, he had even thought that if he ever had a child, he would save these crystals to give them as novel toys after they were born.
Now, seeing these crystals in the window frames, gathering and scattering the light, it was as if they had brewed the past into a jar of mellow wine, leaving one dazed just looking at them.
“Look at that path in the woods.”
The silk handkerchief in Ji Xiaosong’s hand fluttered noisily in the wind. She raised her voice and said, “Every one of those stones was placed according to a traditional interstellar blessing ceremony during Sui An’s one-month celebration. They say it brings good luck to the child, and they carry my blessings for him.”
Dai Lixing looked in the direction she was pointing and saw the path paved with colorful stones, winding like a nimble snake deep into the forest.
The surfaces of the stones had a gentle sheen, as if they had been meticulously cared for.
His throat tightened slightly. He recalled how, half a month ago during a meeting on the Main Star, he kept having the strange feeling that he was carrying some precious little object in his pocket. Seeing these stones now, that sense of familiarity grew even stronger.
‘So his Song Song had shared half of her blessings for their child with him!’
His heart filled with emotion. His gaze fell upon a bend in the river tributary, where several strange interstellar plants were blooming. Their petals, a dreamy pinkish-white, drifted gently down in the breeze and landed on the water’s surface.
Soaked by the seawater, the petals swelled slightly, making them look like the carefully designed pleated accessories from an interstellar fashion show.
As Dai Lixing counted the petals floating by, he suddenly realized that the river’s flow pattern secretly conformed to the principles of energy circulation recorded in ancient interstellar civilizations.
He had studied this method of energy deduction in depth back when he was at the Interstellar Academy researching ancient interstellar lore. He never expected to see such a clever application of it here.
An unusually shaped interstellar bird flew past the eaves of the hotel. In that instant, the Spirit Crystals on the window lattices burst forth with spots of seven-colored light.
The pearl hairpin Ji Xiaosong wore at her temple also began to sparkle.
At that moment, the salty sea breeze was suddenly laced with a rich floral fragrance. Dai Lixing turned to look at Ji Xiaosong and saw her gently covering her nose and mouth with her silk handkerchief.
His gaze fell once more upon the white building before him. In a daze, he felt that this hotel was both solid and dreamlike, a vessel for their present and their future.
Just then, the communicator in his pocket suddenly vibrated. He opened it to see an image transmitted from their smart home device. On the screen, Ji Sui’an was lying in his crib, giggling happily. In the background, an ornamental tree transplanted from another part of the interstellar space was in full, brilliant white bloom, as if offering its best wishes to this new little life.
“Li Xing, I’m planning to have the wedding right here. What do you think?”
Ji Xiaosong asked casually. In truth, her decision was all that mattered; Dai Lixing wouldn’t object either way.
But she had to ask, all the same.
