What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1565: You Just Need Overwhelming Strength

  • Next Chapter

At this point, I was half expecting to meet each of my girls as I patrol through the plaza with how things were going.

Also, I underestimated just how many fights I would come across...

Since this Academy was built on the idea of meritocracy, everyone is used to competing with everyone else around them. And since this is a magical school... Those competitions could easily end up being rather violent since there’s healing magic anyway.

The competition is also quite warranted because these clubs are also an indicator of the student’s merits and belonging to a successful club could also give the small boost needed to make sure the student passes their school year instead of dropping out.

And that achievement would only be possible if the club had exceptional students to out compete the other clubs.

Conversely, if you are a member of a club that has been failing to show results, then it would not be a good mark on your records.

Thus, it’s understandable that the members of these clubs would want to fight as hard as they could to get the best students to join their club in order to boost their records.

Granted, there are also clubs that are more recreational and relaxed in nature that don’t necessarily compete with anyone. Those clubs might only be there to explore a certain interest and serve as a space for like minded people to explore that interest instead of making it a competition with other clubs.

Those clubs in particular didn’t need to worry about recruiting the best students which was why they would set up their stalls elsewhere instead of places like this.

From what I have overheard from the other people around the plaza, most of those types of clubs would set up near the Grand Library instead.

In other words... The current location we were in would be where all the most competitive students were gathered. And when you have a group like that, they would obviously compete with each other in everything they could.

So sometimes... The people here might also just fight back against Enforcers just to get their way since it might be a life or death thing to them.

Which was why the people gave me those looks after I stopped Odeta and the other guy because to the others, those two recognised I was way above them in capability that they stood no chance and just stopped fighting.

I’m not sure if that was the case with the other guy but it definitely wasn’t the case with Odeta...

But well, that just means I have to display overwhelming strength~

So here I was, slapping another guy on the back of the head with my tail to smash him into the ground, stopping him from throwing another punch at the other guy in front of him.

The second guy froze up when he saw me, his fists raised defensively.

I did not spare him either and went ahead to slap him with my tail as well, smashing him into the ground beside the first guy without mercy.

With both of them knocked out, I cracked my neck and left them for their club members to deal with.

That was when I felt another presence appear behind me and I turned to see Valuria beaming at me.

I guess she finally came back after locking up those guys. That took longer than I thought.

"Looks like you’ve gotten quite used to it, eh?" She chuckled, looking at the two guys I just knocked out and the way the other students were looking at me.

I shrugged and tried to appear as nonchalant as I could, "It’s just beating up troublemakers... It’s not that difficult."

"For now. Since you’ve not yet met anyone that would actively fight back against you. Although I have to warn you... Don’t kill anyone, ok?"

I gave her a pointed look, "What kind of person do you even take me for?"

"I’m referring to that crazy spell of yours that broke Evelyne’s enchantment."

I rolled my eyes, "I’m not going to use that spell either. I was told by Chancellor Vastraea that it’s quite dangerous to use this within school grounds."

Valuria paused for a moment before she chuckled, "Ah, I almost forgot that you’re actually the apprentice of our Chancellor. Ahahaha!"

With her rejoining me, we continued our patrol through the plaza and I was met with a rather peculiar sight, almost as if Valuria’s presence had triggered this again.

And by ’this’, I mean meeting my girls during our patrol.

This time, I found Katsuki standing in front of another group of students, though there didn’t seem to be a fight happening around her but she still caught my eye, nevertheless.

Part of the reason was the fact that the students standing in front of her were also wearing maid uniforms so I thought they were maids from the Nilm family at first.

But then we got close enough to listen in on their conversation.

"Your uniform is so high quality! Are you also interested in joining our Maid Club? It would be a waste if you don’t!"

Katuki remained unperturbed by the girls surrounding her, "I do not wear this because of my interests. I wear this because I am the personal maid of my Mistress."

"Awww! You’re so dedicated! As expected of a real maid! What do you do for your Mistress?"

"I serve her however she needs me to serve and I protect and obey her. I live for my Mistress."

"Wowwww~ You’re really the perfect maid! You really have to join our Maid Club after all! Come on! All of us here seek to become the most perfect maid in existence! So having a real maid would be great for us!"

"You may be fans of maids but none of you are true maids. Your club is also a sham as well."

"What?! Hey, we’re already giving you plenty of face despite the fact that you’re a first year. You should watch your mouth!"

"Your reaction just proves my point about the fact that you are not a true maid. A true maid will not react like this."

"Oh yeah? So what makes a true maid then?"

"A maid is only a true maid when they have a person whom they serve and they respect and love above their own lives. I have my Mistress and I serve her with all my heart. My Mistress who I would gladly lay down my own life for and live more than anyone else in existence. On the other hand... All of you serve no one. You are not true maids."

The maids around her gasped and fell to their knees, as though they were just told that their entire world view was a lie.

Well... At least there wasn’t a fight.

I thought Katsuki did not notice my presence but she turned slightly and gave me a slight bow, making me wonder if she said those words earlier precisely because she knew I was listening.

Sheesh... Ok, ok. I’ll make sure to fluff your tails later, Katsuki. And I’ll give you plenty of head pats too.

The next person we came across was Emilia and... I don’t even know if I should be smacking her or not with what she was doing...

"Alright!! This is the special edition! Just twenty Creas and it’s yours!! There’s only seven of these so grab it before they’re all gone! And if that’s not enough for you, for today only, I’m also selling the limited edition merch before they are released! These are going for fifty Creas! Line up please! No fighting!"

She’s really taking the opportunity to do business here too... I can’t even act surprised anymore...

Seeing that Valuria didn’t even bat an eye at Emilia, I took that as a sign that this was allowed so we just moved on.

I did pass by Tiara and she was simply looking at the various stalls around her without causing any trouble, the cute princess giving me a wave as she spotted me walking by.

Incidentally, we did not run into Lisa, Minnera or Lilith, which I assumed was because they decided to look at the clubs at the Grand Library instead of here.

Then we just had to run into the problematic duo of Ira and Tsara.

I was not surprised to see that they were in the middle of a fight... What surprised me was the fact that they weren’t fighting each other but actually teaming up to beat up the students around a specific stall and everyone was trying to stay away from them.

Valuria recognised them and turned to me, "Friends of yours?"

I gave her a slight nod while sighing deeply mentally.

Well... I was obviously not going to beat them like how I did the others we came across but... I’m watching them literally slam those guys around like they were ragdolls and I was getting a little worried that they might cripple these guys, healing magic or not.

And not to mention the fact that I was supposed to be the villainess here, so why the heck are you two behaving more like villains than I can?

What did this stall even... Ah...

On the two signboards hanging above the stall were the words ’No Gods Club’ and ’Praise the Gods Club’.

Really? Are you sure this isn’t a joke? Especially when these two stalls were set up literally side by side?

Ah, whatever... Anyway, both of you shouldn’t be fighting like this in the first place!

I went over to appear behind Tsara and Ira, my presence prompting them to spin around to see me, only for me to give them a flick on their foreheads.

Bad girls. Don’t beat up your schoolmates like that.
