What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1566 What Do You Mean I’m Not Villain Enough Yet?!

  • Next Chapter

Both Tsara and Ira looked at me in surprise, clearly not expecting me to flick their foreheads like that.

"Aster?"

"What’s wrong, Lady Aster?"

I cleared my throat and took back my egg that I had given to my tail to hold in order to free my hand earlier.

"Don’t go around beating up students here," I told them, jerking my chin in the direction of my red armband.

They recognised the armband and shared a look before turning to nod at me, indicating that they knew what the armband meant.

Both of them then left the area without any fuss, leaving the unconscious students they’ve beat up on the floor.

Valuria came up to me and grinned, "You know... Some people would at least try to hide their favoritism... But you really just don’t care about showing it so shamelessly huh?"

Good, because this is me trying to maintain my villainess role here. I have to at least have some tyrannical tendencies, right?

I pretended not to care and shrugged, "I don’t know what you’re talking about."

She waved at me, "It’s fine, it’s fine. It’s well within your right anyway. If people aren’t happy about it, they would just fight you for it and I’m sure you’re no stranger to that."

Huh... Doesn’t that mean you can be as unfair as you want as long as you have the power to back it up?

Then again... I guess that’s exactly how things work around here to begin with... I still remember the fact that other students could potentially steal your research if they were strong enough to take your place as the top student of the year and then get your private island for themselves.

The only reason why there’s still order being maintained is because the people at the top with all the power do not abuse the power that they have.

I am, of course, referring to the professors, the head of departments and the Chancellor herself that maintain the order of the school and their classrooms.

I’m pretty sure that without them, this place would just be pure anarchy.

But that also meant that this didn’t even help me maintain my image as a villainess at all! They’re just treating it like it’s something that was expected of me!

There was one thing I was curious about though...

"Clubs like these are allowed too?" I asked, gesturing to the ’No Gods Club’.

Valuria smirked, "I know how it looks, but it’s not what you think. It’s a club that focuses on finding original chants for spells. As you surely know, the chants that we know for a spell comes from the Gods themselves and the people in this club aim to find chants and spells outside of the ones that were granted by the Gods."

"Couldn’t they have given their club a different name then?"

"They were going for the shock value to get attention."

Hmm... Fair enough. I suppose it did get both mine and Tsara’s attention for her to come and beat them up. At least... I assume that she came to beat them up because of that specific reason.

I then gestured towards the ’Praise the Gods Club’, "And what about them?"

"They’re the opposite of course. Their main goal is to research the spells and chants that the Gods have given us and to understand them on a deeper level instead of trying to come up with alternative methods."

"I’m guessing these two clubs are rivals then?"

"Pretty much, yes. And I assume your companions there have their own thoughts about this particular topic as well?"

I don’t even know how to explain the dynamic between the two of them until I remembered that I don’t even need to and just shrugged in response.

She didn’t push any further and we just continued our patrol.

There were a few more fights after that where we had to intervene and beat up the troublemakers but there wasn’t really anything that especially stood out after that.

I did, however, decide to push my villainess role a bit more where I also started beating up some students who were barely even fighting to begin with.

Then I even went to beat up some who were badmouthing me as well and calling me names as I walked past.

I honestly didn’t even care about their comments but I thought this was a chance that I couldn’t pass up to further enhance my role in this persona I made up for myself.

I believe it was working since the other students were looking at me with fear and even Valuria had gone silent and made no comments about what I was doing, merely observing everything silently.

It was already dark out by the time Valuria told me that we were done for the day and we returned back to the Student Council building.

We walked back into the same room where it was now empty aside from the President and the Vice President who were still hard at work at their desks.

"Welcome back you two," Liareu greeted without looking up from the documents that she was currently working on. "Were there any issues with your patrols?"

Valuria chuckled, "Ahahaha! Not at all! Lady Aster was a complete natural! I would have thought she was a veteran if I didn’t know any better!"

Not sure what she meant by that since it was literally just beating people up... And I’ve beaten way worse things than students to begin with.

For some reason, Vice President Kaelar paused in his work to look up at us. As though Valuria’s admission that there weren’t any problems surprised him.

His eyes narrowed at me for a good few seconds before he pretended he was uninterested and went right back to his work.

I wonder what’s his deal?

Liareu paused in her work to peek up at us, "Is that so? That’s wonderful to hear. Could I take it that you are interested in joining us after all, Lady Aster?"

I shrugged, "I don’t see an issue with it I suppose. But I just want to know what will happen if I decide to leave?"

"You are, of course, free to leave whenever. At least when you are still in your first year and if you don’t have any important duties tied to you. I would appreciate at least a warning a few days or even weeks in advance if you plan to leave after you have undertaken important duties for the Student Council."

"Hmm... Fair enough. In that case, I suppose I wouldn’t mind joining you."

Liareu blinked at me, as though she didn’t expect me to agree to it to begin with but she quickly recovered and smiled at me.

"In that case, I welcome you to the Student Council, Lady Aster. I hope that you will have a good time here. If you need anything at all, you can find one of us to help you. For now, I suppose you can follow Valuria and help her with the current event as an Enforcer. That is... If you don’t mind continuing that role?"

I noted that Valuria was giving me a hopeful look from the side so I turned to tilt my head at her, "Do you want me to continue this?"

The Amrap chuckled, "Ahaha! Of course I do! Look how well you did your first day of work! It’s completely flawless!"

I blinked at her, remembering the back portion of our patrol where I was literally abusing my power a little by beating up other students that were simply looking or saying wrong things about me.

"Flawless? I was sure that the last part was a little extreme, don’t you think?" I pointed out.

She tilted her head, "Eh? There was? I don’t think there were any such cases though? You didn’t go too far in your beatings and stopped the moment they fell unconscious, didn’t you?"

Wait, wait, wait... You’re telling me that you are also free to beat up people who were simply making jokes at your expense or just verbally disrespecting you?

And beating such people into unconsciousness is considered completely acceptable?

You’ve got to be-- Ah... Wait a minute...

I just remembered that people can also demand for duels just because of these reasons too... And then the students would just fight it out in an arena as well... Sometimes they might even just have the fight right there and then too...

I would say that I didn’t break any bones or permanently maim or cripple anyone so... I guess she’s right that I didn’t take things too far in a way.

There’s one problem with this though...

This means that I haven’t been acting like a villain enough!! Just how far do I have to go before people finally slap on the label of a villain on me?!

Grrrr... No! I won’t give up! I’m definitely getting that villain title one way or another! It’s a matter of pride now!
