What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?
Chapter 1564: This Job Is So Easy
I made sure to pose as menacingly as I could after knocking all three of them down.
Once I was sure everyone saw me, I turned to Delmare, "Are you alright?"
She nodded, then her gaze drifted to my arm where the red armband sat.
"Is that..." She trailed off, her question clear even though she did not complete it.
I nodded, "Probationary member for now. I’m following along to see how they work and whether both the Council and myself suit each other."
"Ah... I see... Umm... So you are patrolling?"
I nodded again and turned just as Valuria came over to me.
She finally noticed who Delmare was and cocked an eyebrow, "Hmm... Isn’t she one of your mates, Lady Aster? What a coincidence."
Delmare looked up at Valuria and recognised her as the one who tried to dropkick me the first time we met.
She tilted her head slightly at the Amrap, "So the kick was not your way of greeting?"
Valuria flushed at the reminder, "Ah... Ahahaha! Well it isn’t, of course! But we should get going, Lady Aster! There are still routes we have to patrol!"
I can’t tell if she was rushing me because she was embarrassed or because she genuinely wanted us to continue our patrol route.
Nevertheless, I do agree with her that we should continue and we got the three groaning guys’ club members to take them away.
I gave Delmare a quick wave before leaving the area, making sure to tell her to be careful one more time before leaving.
The crowd parted for us as we moved, both of us keeping an eye out for any more trouble.
I also realised that each time we went ahead to beat up the troublemakers, it served as a warning to all the witnesses and anyone that might have thought about starting trouble would think twice about it.
Also... I now know why they needed more people.
We only needed to walk a while more before we found another incident and this time the students involved were already fighting.
I don’t know what started it but there was a fifth year student throwing ice shards at a fourth year student who was countering the attacks with fireballs.
And despite the danger, the students around the two of them didn’t even look that worried and were even gathered to watch the fight instead of running away.
I guess this is all just the usual sights you would see around Aerialla Academy anyway so people were used to it.
Valuria didn’t even wait for me and just lowered herself into a half crouch before she kicked off the ground and launched herself in the direction of the fight.
I watched as she aimed herself at the student that was shooting fireballs and crashed into the female Trasif student, knocking her down onto the ground with a merciless kick.
She then flipped off from her and somersaulted through the air before landing behind the other female Nekomata student, the girl only having time to widen her eyes in surprise before Valuria grabbed the back of her head and smashed her into the ground.
Ouch.
Valuria growled at them, "Actually using attack magic in such a crowded area? Both of you better be ready for the consequences!"
The Trasif pushed herself off the ground and scowled at the Amrap, "She started it! She tried to poach my prospective ace! If anything, she should be the one that’s punished, not me!"
The Nekomata managed to lift her face off the ground and let out a groan, "You... If you... Can’t keep... Your ace... You don’t deserve them..."
Really? You two literally got beat up and you’re still arguing? Is this even more important than not getting your ass beaten by the Amrap in front of you?
Evidently not as Valuria took their defiance as a sign that they didn’t intend to stop and went ahead to smack them both on the back of the head, knocking them both out.
Instead of letting them get carried away by one of their own club members, Valuria lifted them up and threw them over her shoulders before carrying them to me.
"These two used attack magic within the crowd, that means we would have to confine them for a day or two so I’ll go ahead and bring them back. This is also for you to know what happens if you catch someone making use of attack magic."
Right... So that means if they don’t use magic that is classified as an ’attack magic’, then they wouldn’t need them to be so badly beaten?
"Where do you confine them?" I asked.
"Just bring them back to the island. We have rooms that we use to confine idiots like this. Think you can handle things on your own for a while?"
I nodded, "I believe I’ve got a hang of how things work here, so yes."
"Perfect. I’ll just be a moment. Once I get these two sorted out, I’ll come right back here~"
She then ran off with the two unconscious students leaving me on my own.
I looked around and the first year students looked like they were completely terrified of me, as if they were thinking I would just beat them all up for no reason now that Valuria was not here anymore.
Did they really think that I was going to abuse this power to beat up whoever I wanted?
Ironically... I wouldn’t even need this armband to beat them up anyway... But I wasn’t going to tell anyone that.
I simply hugged my egg tighter and turned to continue my ’patrol’ of the plaza, paying more attention to the clubs that had set up stalls around the place rather than anything else.
After all, this was my first time here and I’m curious if there were any other interesting clubs around.
But as if fate didn’t want me to enjoy my time here... I heard the sounds of more students engaged in a heated exchange just a few metres away.
Thankfully, it was just a simple matter of two club members arguing about the space the other was taking up with their stall and when I appeared near them, they quickly shut up and went in opposite directions.
But the next fight I came across was a little problematic...
Because one of the people involved was Odeta and it seemed like she had picked a fight with a senior student for some reason.
The good thing was that neither of them were using attack magic and they were just resorting to using their fists instead. So I think this wouldn’t warrant me needing to confine them.
The senior was a Wrunch and he was a good head taller than Odeta which was quite a feat by itself.
Odeta threw her fist towards the Wrunch who raised up his fist to block the blow, but Odeta’s punch had more force than he had anticipated and he ended up being sent skidding back from the impact.
He growled and leapt back at her, throwing a flurry of quick swings and uppercuts in an attempt to hit her but all of those blows were dodged or blocked by my Amrap.
That’s when I caught myself admiring Odeta and quickly shook myself out of my stupor.
This was not the time to be admiring my lover, I have a job to do!
The Wrunch tried to swing his fist again but I jumped out and landed right on top of him before he could react, smashing him down into the ground.
But since he was someone who could exchange blows with Odeta and stood his ground, that little attack from me did not knock him out and he looked more pissed at the fact he got knocked down more than anything else.
"Get off of me!! Who do you think you are?!!" He roared, shoving against the ground to push himself back up.
I got launched off his back but I flared my wings to control myself, floating back down to the ground before I crashed into someone.
He spun around, ready to fight whoever had attacked him when he saw me and the red armband.
His eyes went wide and he just stood there looking shocked.
I’m guessing he knew he was in trouble but Odeta thought the guy still wanted to fight but his target changed to me and got all protective.
So she leapt at him and grabbed him from behind, wrapping her arms around his neck in a chokehold to restrain him.
Well... I have to be fair here so...
I went over to smack Odeta on the head, obviously not hard enough to smash her on the ground but hard enough to sting.
"Stop it," I told her simply.
She blinked at me and let go of the guy.
"No fighting. Not here. Got it?" I admonished them simply.
Both of them nodded.
Good~
This job is so easy~
Hmm?
Why is everyone looking at me weirdly?
