Chapter 331: Everything Taken Care
Night deepened in the Wasteland World.
The north wind howled through the surrounding trees, carrying a desolate sound with it.
Outside the disinfection corridor, Warry’s eyes were cold, but a wide smile spread across his lips.
He smiled at the esteemed guests who had arrived at his Shelter under the cover of night.
His insincere smile, coupled with the head he carried in his hand, dragging a bloody trail behind it, was as chilling as could be.
"Coming to visit so late? Why didn’t you say anything?"
At this moment, even Snape, who was eager to breach the gate of Vikram’s Territory, knew something was wrong.
"Who are you? And how did you come from outside?" he asked.
However, compared to Edmund’s astonishment, Snape merely frowned slightly.
He didn’t feel any fear toward the guy in front of him.
Although he didn’t know who he was, since Vikram hadn’t arrived, there was nothing to hesitate about.
Edmund snapped out of his shock, glanced around, and realized that seemingly only this guy was present.
Although he knew the other party’s strength should be decent, with only him standing here, Edmund suddenly felt emboldened.
"Whoever you are, you don’t actually think you alone can stop the three of us, do you?"
"Now you dare to come alone? You’re really looking for death."
Edmund was about to make the first move against Warry when Snape reached out and stopped him.
"Whoever you are, actually, we don’t have to be like this, do we?"
"Why must we fight to the death when both of us can benefit?"
"Compared to being enemies, we clearly have more options, don’t we?"
Snape spoke while looking at the new figure.
Despite not showing much panic on his face, Snape himself wasn’t entirely confident.
He had backup plans, but now he was one hundred percent certain that Vikram had many secrets.
Having lived most of his life, he cherished his own life more than anyone and didn’t dare gamble it on even the slightest risk.
At this moment, rather than completely falling out and fighting directly, he was more willing to try persuading the other party with benefits.
Seeing that the newcomer wasn’t making a move and was gradually showing a playful expression on his face, Snape thought he had been moved and sneered inwardly.
On the surface, however, he appeared delighted and continued,
"For example, you and I could form an alliance. I can provide connections and resources, and together we can loot Vikram’s Shelter. His Shelter has many secrets that can help us build a perfect Wasteland kingdom."
"By then, everything in this Wasteland will be beneath our feet..."
Snape seemed to think his speech had successfully swayed the newcomer, and he became increasingly excited as he spoke.
So excited, in fact, that he failed to notice the growing killing intent in Warry’s eyes.
Until another head appeared in Warry’s hand.
Snape was instantly startled and looked over.
The small team leader standing beside him had already become a headless corpse lying on the ground, blood still gushing from his severed neck.
Throwing the two heads in his hands like trash, Warry looked at the two men in front of him with an indifferent gaze, then said without changing his expression, "Are you done talking?"
Even Snape, who had been enthusiastically spouting nonsense just now, couldn’t maintain his feigned smile and his face darkened.
Glaring at this guy, Snape squeezed out words through gritted teeth, "Are you sure you want to be my enemy completely?"
"Don’t think that just because you lived in Vikram’s territory, you can do whatever you want. Green Wind Shelter wants to kill you, it’s incredibly simple."
"I advise you to seriously consider my words, lest you end up dying a terrible death."
After speaking, Snape knew that all his plans for today had fallen through, and he turned to leave.
He knew that although Green Wind Shelter couldn’t really do anything to Vikram, it also wasn’t easy for Vikram to break into the headquarters of Green Wind Shelter, which had a large number of members.
But Snape seemed to have forgotten one thing.
The person standing in front of him was not Vikram.
Vikram would consider many things before taking action.
However, Warry was different.
He was a Warrior Treekin.
To him, anyone who threatened his owner, Vikram, or his owner’s Territory, would not be allowed to live.
Originally, he had simply been enjoying Archy and Ranzy’s shooting performance when these two guys arrived.
Even then, he hadn’t shown any reaction.
But then one of them started trying to break the gate of his owner’s Territory.
That was unforgivable.
So he directly jumped outside, killed the remaining invaders, and left only three people alive.
He had thought these people would immediately start fighting him.
Then he would kill them, and the game would be over quickly.
But no.
This Snape fellow actually tried to persuade him to abandon his owner and join him.
He even suggested looting his owner’s Territory.
Hearing this, anger immediately surged into Warry’s head.
As a result, he casually killed one of them in his rage, leaving only Edmund and Snape alive.
Yet even after that, this Snape guy was still threatening him and wanted to leave safely.
How could Warry possibly allow that?
Warry scoffed, and decisively threw a punch.
"Whoosh!"
The punch, carrying a strong gust of wind, went straight for Snape’s back.
However, the opponent seemed to have been prepared. Not only did he not dodge or turn his head, but he extended one hand from his armpit, and then a dazzling flash of fire erupted in the dark night!
"Bang!"
The moment he clearly felt the bullet hit, a ferocious smile instantly appeared on Snape’s face.
He had already killed his way to the other party’s home, so he knew Vikram’s subordinate would definitely not let him go. Turning to leave just now was to create a weakness.
Now, Vikram’s subordinate behind him was no longer moving. This shot was exactly as Snape had expected.
"Why do you have to seek death when you’re perfectly fine? Isn’t it good to live well?"
"Even if you..."
He originally wanted to say, even if he wasn’t willing to cooperate with Green Wind Shelter, not making a move now would allow him to live a little longer.
However, what he didn’t expect was that Vikram’s subordinate, who had turned his head, did not fall to the ground from the bullet wound, but looked at the other party without changing his expression.
"Seeking death?"
"Are you talking about yourself?"
There was no emotion in Warry’s eyes, as if he was staring at an ant that could be crushed at any moment.
"Impossible!!!"
Snape’s pupils trembled!
As if he had seen a ghost, he kept backing away, looking at Warry, who had no injuries at all.
"Not afraid of bullets? How is that possible? What exactly is your strength?"
Warry’s eyes showed a hint of mockery, but he was too lazy to explain so much.
In the blink of an eye, Warry closed in again, only this time he had no intention of holding back.
Before Snape could react, a crisp "crack" sound came from his arm.
Snape couldn’t see it clearly, but Edmund, who was beside him, was almost scared to death.
Warry, with just one hand, had twisted Snape’s right arm, which had over fifty points of physique, into a pretzel.
"Ah!!"
"Wait! We can still cooperate!"
"You’re so strong, you could totally come to Green Wind Shelter and be the boss! I’m willing to give you my position!"
Snape, realizing that something was seriously wrong, still wanted to say something, but Warry had no intention of listening to any more useless nonsense.
His right foot pushed off the ground, then he half-turned, twisting his waist into an astonishing arc, then gathered momentum and raised his knee, his right leg sweeping through the air in a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree arc.
In the blink of an eye, he kicked heavily into Snape’s undefended chest.
"Bang!" A figure flew out through the wind. This kick sent Snape flying nearly ten meters.
He landed squarely on a tree, bark flying, and the white snow from the tree branches scattered everywhere.
"Pfft!!"
The moment he landed, Snape spat out a large mouthful of blood mixed with large pieces of internal organs.
The fear of death instantly invaded his mind. Snape still tried to reach into his bag, trembling, to pull out his trump card.
But Warry didn’t give him a single chance.
In an instant, he flashed in front of Snape, his foot making a "crack" as it stomped on the hand he was trying to use to grab something.
Then, he swung his arm in a full circle, and a punch came down from the top of his head...
"Pfft!"
Blood splattered!
In the last moments of his life, Snape’s eyes widened in disbelief, but he still could not escape the fate of death.
His head was brutally smashed into his chest by Warry’s punch...
Warry glanced at Snape, who had lost all signs of life. He turned to look at Edmund behind him.
The moment Edmund noticed Warry’s cold gaze, all the color drained from his face, his legs gave out, and he dropped to his knees with a ’thud’.
"Don’t... don’t kill..."
Before Edmund could even finish his sentence, another kick to the head instantly shattered his watermelon-sized skull.
It might seem a bit exaggerated, but the difference in combat power between them, with a twenty to thirty point difference in physique, was indeed that ridiculous.
After doing all that, Warry looked at the bodies scattered around.
In his opinion, they had dirtied his owner’s Territory.
He then looked toward the observation tower, and a few figures immediately jumped down from it.
They were Watery, Earthy, and the Metal Mage.
Without even needing Warry to tell them anything, they immediately began working.
Watery was the first to move.
He picked up the bodies one by one, collected all the items they carried, and stored them away for Vikram to examine after he returned.
After that, he threw the corpses outside Territory 2 and even beyond the undeveloped Territory 3.
Following that, he manipulated water to wash away all the bloodstains on the ground.
At the same time, Earthy repaired the damaged terrain, filling craters and restoring the ground to its original state.
Meanwhile, the Metal Mage repaired the damaged doors and other structures that had been broken during the attack.
Before long, all traces of the battle had completely disappeared.
Seeing that everything had returned to its previous state, they all felt pleased.
Soon afterward, they returned to their respective Treehouses within Territory 1.
Meanwhile, Divya, Sophia, Anjali, and Luna had been watching everything from the Treehouse’s control room.
They had already received a message from Vikram informing them that Snape was planning to attack the Territory and that he shouldn’t be allowed to return alive.
After witnessing Warry’s performance, all four of them were quite satisfied.
They immediately sent a message back to Vikram, informing him that everything had been taken care of and that he didn’t need to worry about the Territory anymore.
