Chapter 330: Visiting My Home
"B-Boss, this kid’s Shelter is too tough. We couldn’t even blow it open with explosives. There was nothing we could do."
"And with those arrows continuously firing at us, just dodging the attacks is hard enough. We can’t advance at all, Boss."
It would have been better if he hadn’t explained.
His explanation only fueled the fire in Snape’s eyes.
He knew Vikram was troublesome, which was exactly why he had decided to rush back under the cover of night to flatten this kid’s Shelter.
Yet, after giving his subordinates so much time, they had achieved nothing except wasting a large amount of homemade explosives, and now they were making excuses.
"Can’t advance?"
"I’ll see if you really can’t advance."
Snape was determined to take down Vikram’s Territory in one fell swoop today, as the conflict between them had not lasted for just a day or two.
Especially since the other party had also obtained that precious bead at the auction, which further solidified the resolve of Snape, who was already somewhat wary of Vikram.
After speaking through gritted teeth, Snape grabbed the small team leader of Green Wind Shelter with one hand.
He directly threw him out from behind the tree trunk, exposing him completely.
As soon as he was exposed, several arrows pierced his body, and he became lifeless in an instant.
Seeing this, the other Survivors knew that Snape could throw them out as well, so they all rushed forward without stopping.
They all knew that once they were hit, their future in the Wasteland as Survivors would basically be over.
But now they had no choice.
Between life and death, many of them actually managed to rush forward in one breath and reach the disinfection corridor, which was the location of the entrance gate to Vikram’s Territory.
However, more than twenty of them were killed by arrows along the way.
Because the observation room and the disinfection corridor were parallel, although the situation could be seen from the observation room, it had entered Archy and Ranzy’s blind spot.
Seeing this, Snape and Edmund also moved forward.
Unlike the others’ disheveled state, the two arrived outside the metal door with almost no effort.
Snape’s anger had now subsided, and his expression softened slightly.
Because compared to arguing with incompetent subordinates, what appeared before him was clearly more to his liking.
In fact, for a long time, Snape had always been puzzled as to why Vikram, an unknown and insignificant survivor who didn’t even have many people in his shelter, always seemed to possess highly advanced tools and supplies.
At first, he wondered if it was because he was unlucky and hadn’t encountered these valuable resource points, but the more he thought about it, the more something felt off.
Ever since he started keeping an eye on Vikram, he would send people to track his movements every now and then, but Vikram clearly operated very discreetly, yet he always seemed to magically produce new items.
This included the obviously modified off-road vehicle he drove to the auction this afternoon.
Thinking of this, Snape glanced at Edmund beside him, "Let’s break the door open together. There should only be a few members inside. Let’s rush in and kill them first."
—
Meanwhile in the Crimson Desire Shelter, the owner of the Crimson Desire Shelter was staying in room no 101.
Currently she was laying completely nude, while Vikram was laying on her.
He was busy tasting the pleasure of this beauty and didn’t care that someone was attacking his territory.
At first when he entered her, he couldn’t believe that she was a virgin.
He didn’t understand that the girl who was running a brothel could stay virgin.
But since he took her virginity, he decided he should also stay loyal with her. It was not like his wives, still he would help her, when it required.
—
Meanwhile back at Vikram’s territory, after realizing that the homemade explosives produced by his Shelter couldn’t threaten the door of Vikram’s Territory, Snape also started to summon his alloy pickaxe.
"Clang! Clang!"
According to the rules of the Wasteland World, there’s nothing that can’t be destroyed with a pickaxe; even the most solid building materials just require a bit more time.
Snape was very confident because he had secretly snuck away from Crimson Desire Shelter for this trip.
His actions were so discreet that, apart from a few of his subordinates, even Lilith didn’t know when they had left.
In his mind, there was plenty of time; Vikram might still be flirting or sleeping at Crimson Desire Shelter.
Reaching here would at least be by noon tomorrow.
By then, all the secrets in Vikram’s Territory would have been thoroughly uncovered and then destroyed by him.
Imagining Vikram’s crestfallen expression upon returning to his Shelter to find nothing left, Snape swung his pickaxe with even greater vigor.
"Boss, almost there! The iron door can’t hold much longer!"
Edmund, standing nearby, was a bit excited.
As Snape’s dog, he also yearned to rise up, but Snape’s constant wariness of him had prevented him from ever getting the upper hand.
At this moment, the lock on the iron door already showed signs of loosening, and a glimmer of hope rose in his heart.
"If that kid truly has some secret that could make a carp leap over the dragon gate, why can’t I just seize it?"
Even though there was still a five or six-point gap in physique between him and Snape, it didn’t stop him from thinking this way.
He subtly glanced at Snape, who seemed oblivious beside him, and Edmund secretly sneered.
"Bang!" A crisp sound, undoubtedly beautiful to both of them, echoed in their ears as the door bolt snapped completely under the strain.
It was a little faster than they had imagined; in less than half an hour, the Shelter’s door was breached.
"Serves this kid right for liking to be a loner; his home was stolen, and no one came out to stop it."
The heavy metal door slowly opened. Before entering, Snape didn’t forget to mock Vikram, then pushed the door open.
As his right foot stepped into the disinfection corridor of Vikram’s Territory, Snape first froze, then a cruel and smug smile spread across his lips.
"Sure enough, just as I thought, you really do have something good that other Survivors don’t know about."
Even Snape was slightly stunned by the sight before him, let alone the two Survivors who were his subordinates.
The expressions on their faces at this moment could no longer be described as surprised; they were completely frozen in place, unmoving.
The cold metal walls and bright ceiling lights were understandable.
But equipment like thermal disinfection, semi-automatic UV disinfection for people, and the exhaust system that automatically activated the moment they entered, were no longer things that could be achieved by scavenging in the Wasteland.
At least until now, even for powerful Survivors like them, the only method of disinfection was merely bathing.
Even that was already extremely luxurious, let alone the dazzling array of things before them that were just at the entrance.
"Don’t just stand there, go in first and bring out the Survivor left inside to guard."
Snape patted Edmund’s shoulder, urging him.
As it stood, he was certain that the three of them absolutely couldn’t take all the treasures from Vikram’s Territory.
Although many of the people outside had died and were not very useful, they were still fine for acting as pack mules.
However, as they passed through the disinfection corridor, intending to explore and see what the interior of Vikram’s Territory was like, two large iron doors appeared once again before the three of them, one on the left and one on the right.
"Damn, how many doors does this kid have at home?"
Snape cursed and kicked the iron door, which was still the same specification as the iron door in the previous corridor.
But thinking that once he entered, he could not only get revenge but also gain countless benefits, Snape’s expression softened considerably.
"Edmund, you go to the iron door on that hilltop, we’ll handle this side."
Leaving that instruction, he didn’t wait for a response before once again preparing to break down the door.
This was not done casually by him; although he wasn’t clear about Vikram’s true secret, judging by the quality of the iron doors on the two hilltops, this one was clearly better.
This indicated that the good stuff was more likely hidden behind this door, and sending Edmund away would also prevent him from getting good things and turning on him.
Snape had survived in the Wasteland for so long, and being older, he was experienced in dealing with people.
He clearly saw whether his subordinates had any thoughts or ambitions; he truly couldn’t hold his position without being cautious.
But if he hadn’t had so many ulterior motives, and they had worked together to break through this door on Vikram’s hilltop, he might have actually succeeded in infiltrating the Shelter today.
Yet, as the two acted together, both harbored ulterior motives, and before the iron door bolt could snap again, several exclamations had already come from behind them.
"You!!"
"Boss, run!!"
Hearing the commotion, the three of them immediately knew something had happened outside.
However, they didn’t connect it to Vikram at all, as in their minds, Vikram was still enjoying himself at Crimson Desire Shelter. And of course, Vikram was still enjoying at the Crimson Desire Shelter.
But in his territory, only Vikram wasn’t present.
"Edmund, go out and see what happened."
Although Edmund was a hundred times unwilling, before he could obtain enough benefits to overthrow Snape, he could only obediently comply.
Then, he witnessed a scene he would never forget.
Initially, upon hearing the exaggerated reactions of the people outside, he thought it was just zombies breaking in and planned to finish it quickly.
Who knew that the entire courtyard of Vikram’s Territory was now filled with a bloody aura and a pervasive stench.
Everywhere his eyes could see was a bloody red, and all thirty-odd Survivors from Green Wind Shelter lay in pools of blood, their deaths horrific.
In his daze, Edmund’s vision flickered, and a figure suddenly appeared before him.
At this moment, the figure was clutching a human head the size of a bucket, and judging by the entire bloody spine dangling from the base of the head, it had clearly been ripped off by hand.
"Who are you?" Edmund asked in a shocking tone, looking at the figure, which has two blades staying beside him, while he was looking at them non-chantally.
Edmund couldn’t know who this guy was, and he feels so much danger from him.
The figure looked at Edmund, gave a mischievous smile, "Visiting my home."
"Welcome! Welcome!"
