Chapter 860 - 861 – Grey – Part 9.

LM found something while messing around.

A camera footage folder.

LM out of the curiosity opened it, hoping to find something important… And he found what he was looking for.

A footage of the city and the castle few moments before the whole incident started.

LM played the recording, trying to see if maybe there was something SPECIAL going on before the incident occurred.

"Your majesty. It seems there is some kind of problem with out communication system." – said the dragonewt knight as they had confronted the dragon king of the Kai'ku'dan clan in the throne room.

"I see." – said the elderly weak voice.

(Wow… No wonder queen of the Wo'won clan said that he is dying!) – thought LM as he was watching the footage.

(This guy REALLY looks like if you just touch him, he will just turn into the dust.) – thought LM as he sped up the footage, reaching the point where the chaos started spreading around the castle… Before then the children and grandchildren of the dragon king as well as the golems started murdering everybody in castle… And then the two children of the dragon king helped the elderly dragon in his human form reach the hidden passage that Oron used.

(…He cannot even walk on his own too.) – thought LM as when checking the other castle with speed up footage, he only saw the golems doing the massacre.

(So, the entire royal family was here.)

(Still, is there nothing else going on here?! There MUST BE SOMETHING SPECIAL HERE!) – thought LM as he started opening different footages that were captured by the cameras and then quickly speeding them up, trying to find anything odd… But in the end, he couldn't find anything.

"Tch."

(Nothing.)

(Still, it doesn't look like the declaration of the war even reached ANYBODY. Even the castle was quiet all this time and everything was extremely quiet.)

"…"

(Wait, what about when the declaration of the war was announced?) – thought LM as he started looking for the footage files, before then finding the correct one.

"So, they have declared the war on you, huh?" – said the woman in the cloak.

"!"

(Somebody is meeting with the dragon king… But who? I can only see her back.) – thought LM.

"I see… It is way earlier than I've expected." – said the dragon king of the Kai'ku'dan clan as he was sitting on his throne.

"…"

"Don't expect any extra help from us." – said the cloaked woman.

"The deal between us was already fulfilled."

"We won't need it… The plan is reaching its finally stage." – replied the dragon king with his weak voice.

"The deformed nephalems will buy us the time we need."

"You say that, but you do remember these things have a time limit, right?" – replied the woman.

"If you don't finish that little plan of yours in time, then pretty much there will be nothing stopping them."

"I know… But trust me… We have just enough time." – replied the dragon king.

"…"

"If you say so." – replied the female figure as she turned around and started walking away.

"!"

[PAUSE]

"Is there any way I can freaking zoom it in?" – said LM as he stopped the video.

"AHA!" – LM found the way to zoom in, getting a good view at the woman's face.

(Okay… Who the hell are you?)

(…)

(Hm… It feels like I've seen her face before.) – thought LM as he opened up his inventory and took out a book a clipboard which was filled to the brim with paper… Or more exactly, wanted posters.

"…"

"No… She ain't fiancé."

"Still… Where the fuck I've seen that face before?"

(Did we had encounter with her before?) – thought LM as he started looking through the wanted posters he had.

(No. Not her… Neither her… Hm… This one looks similar… But ain't her.)

(Dammit! I swear that I've seen here somewhere be-)

(What is this?)

"OH FUCK!" – shouted LM as he found the wanted poster that had a sketch of a person which perfectly matched with the woman on the monitor.

However, LM was not thrilled one bit by what he had found.

"You got to be fucking kidding me right now." – said sweating LM.

"WHY THE FUCK IS SHE HERE?!"

"THE MOTHERFUCKING 'BENEFACTOR' IS INVOLVED IN THIS?! REALLY?! FUCKING REALL?!"

(Why the fuck?!)

(I MEAN! SERIOUSLY! I THOUGHT WE HAD A BREAK FROM THIS GUY!)

"Shit!" – LM quickly reached for his communication device.

"QUEEN! ANSWER ME! I HAVE DIRE NEW INFORMATION!" – shouted LM into the device.

"…Bit busy at the moment!" – said the queen who answered the call while starting to get noticeable exhausted from fighting nonstop.

"THE FUCKING 'BENEFACTOR'! I FOUND THE EVIDENCE THAT THE ROYAL FAMILY OF THE KAI'KU'DAN CLAN HAD BEEN WORKING WITH THAT BASTARD! HE IS INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS!" – shouted LM into the communication device.

"You got to be fucking kidding me." – said the queen as the pure terror suddenly appeared on her face.

(I mean, I did suspected this when I found out that the Garog empire was involved… BUT ARE YOU FOR REAL RIGHT NOW?!) – thought the dragon queen as she screamed in her head.

(But the most wanted terrorist in the whole world is also involved in all of this?!)

(What the fuck?!)

(…Then again… It would make sense.) – thought the dragon queen as she unleashed a blade of ice that cut in two the corrupted dragon monster.

(The 'benefactor' is known for creating some unknown monsters… Shit.)

"INFORM OUR ALLIES!" – shouted the dragon queen as she flew towards her mages.

"INFORM THEN THAT WE HAVE ONE MORE ENEMY HERE! 'BENEFACTOR' THE TERRORIST!"

(Okay! Queen informed!) – thought LM.

"Tail! Oron! Do you copy?! I have new info! It's 'benefactor'! THIS BASTARD IS INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS!" – shouted LM.

"…"

"Hey! Do any of you copy?!" – shouted LM.

(What the fuck is going on!? Why are they not responding?!) – thought panicking LM.

"!"

"Shit! Jammers or some shit?!" – said LM as he instantly abandoned the consoles and instantly went into the path that Tail used.

(I have to inform them before some new random bullshit pops up!)

[Meanwhile: Oron]

"…"

(The hell is this place?) – thought Oron as he found himself in what appears to be some kind of underground rail system.

(This place is massive… It looked like they were probably using trains here.)

(But was it to move around? Or transport stuff?)

"Oh! Bingo!" – said Oron as he noticed one of the empty trains still being left behind at the very end of the rails.

(Welp, that confirms it… Two things.)

(Trains were being used here… And those look like trains used to transport stuff.) – thought Oron as he was inspecting the train.

"Good. It seems to be in working condition."

"It should-"

"…Or maybe not." – said Oron as he used his demonic eye to look at something that was afar… A two figures.

(God dammit. They are really dead set on slowing me down no matter what.) – thought Oron as he aimed with his crossbow and unleashed a barrage of bolts, while from the other side a two massive flames of arcane magic were shot towards Oron.

The two series of projectiles met and collided with each other, causing a massive explosion.

"!"

"Oh you bastards!" – said pissed off Oron as he rushed forward while the two figures from afar took on their true forms, revealing themselves to be a dragons.

(These fuckers! THEY WANT TO DESTORY THE TRAIN TRACKS!) – thought Oron as once again he began fighting.

[Meanwhile: Tail]

*Huff*

"Welp… Shit." – said Oron as he was right now also in underground rail system… And met the two dragons in their true forms who began unleashing series of magic attacks.

(This is annoying!) – thought Tail as he was forced to run around.

(These guys are as strong as the last guy!)

(I knew maybe I would face somebody far more challenging next, but two fucking same bastards as the last guy?! Common! At least make them something like both be 75% of the last guy, making them combined value be 150%) – thought Tail as he tried counter attacking, only for the enemies to unleash a heavy bombardment of spells, which forced the kobold player to once again be on the defensive and run around.

(Still, these guys doesn't seem to have that powerful detection ability like last guy, meaning that my stealth skills is at least somewhat useful right now compare to before!)

"…"

(But the way they are fighting is off.)

(Why… Why they are unleashing so much destructive attacks nonstop? Don't they care if the entire underground cave in?!)

"STOP SPAWNING SHIT AND FIGHT NORMALY! FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" – shouted annoyed Tail as suddenly an arrow came flying past him and striking one of the dragons, dealing a critical damage as the projectile exploded.

"?!"

"LM?!" – shouted Tail as LM arrived to reinforce him.

"Shit! Thanks!"

"Take on the one on the right and I take one-"

"BENEFACTOR!" – shouted LM.

"BENEFACTOR IS WORKING WITH THESE GUYS!"

"Oh, what the fuck?" – replied Tail.
