Chapter 858 - 859 – Grey – Part 7.

"Dammit! These things are keep coming!" – shouted the knight of the Wo'won clan as the grey monster had still not stopped going after the Wo'won clan forces.

The knight swung his sword, unleashing a slash of ice which destroyed the grey monster right on the spot.

And after it fell down, the weird grey energy that the body was emitting was dispersed, leaving behind the body without limbs or heads.

"Shit! Your majesty! We can't keep this up!" – shouted the dragon as he was using his breath attack a corrupted dragon, blasting it away.

"These bastards are keep coming after us with suicidal charges! We need to back away!" – shouted the dragon as the corpses on the battlefield from both sides were pilling up at the alarming rate.

"NO!" – replied the dragon queen as she unleashed her ice magic, forming a garden of thorn roses that bound the grey monsters and then tore them apart.

"IF WE FALL BACK NOW, THE TRAITORS WILL FINISH THEIR PLAN AND WE MAY END UP THE SAME WAY AS THESE PEOPLE!"

"WE HAVE NO CHOICE!"

"BUT-"

"NO BUTS! IF WE DON'T WIN THIS TODAY, THEN WE ARE DOOMED!" – shouted the queen as the dragon tried complaining.

"NECROMANCERS! WHY ARE THE UNDEADS DYING SO FAST?!"

"We can't do anything about this! These corpses of the grey monsters are beyond fragile! They cannot be used at all to make even basic proper undeads!" – replied the necromancer of Garog empire.

"…."

"Then use my people." – said the queen.

"?!"

"YOUR MAJESTY! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" – shouted the dragon.

"I'M! EITHER THIS OR FATE WORSE THAN DEATH!" – shouted the queen.

"JUST DO IT YOU BASTARDS!"

"…"

"Very well." – said the necromancer as he gave his comrades a signal to use the corpses of the Wo'won clan members in order to create undeads.

"…"

"Wow… Things are really not looking good." – said LM who had gained access to the cameras and was seeing the massacration unfolding.

(The mist somewhat dispersed somewhat, allowing me to see something… Still, these things are really attacking like animals.) – thought LM as he was messing around with the consol.

(Fuck! How the hell do I control these defenses?! Why the hell everything is so complicated here?!) – thought LM as he was looking in panic for the way to control the city defenses, while both the LM and Tail had encountered yet another foes.

But this time, both of them were children of the dragon king.

"Piss off human." - said the man with long tail.

"This doesn't involve you." – said the man with short hair.

"…Nah." – replied Oron and Tail to their respective foes before then starting their battle.

(Common! Common! There must be a freaking way here! Don't they have maybe something like instruction!?) – thought LM as he was still looking around in panic.

(FOR FUCK'S SAKE! I AIN'T PROGRAMER, BUT IT DOES FEEL LIKE I'M CODING-)

"!"

"YES!" – shouted LM as he finally found access to the city defenses.

"Common! Common! Turn on! TURN ON ALREADY!"

"?"

(Wait, what is this?) – thought LM as he found something.

"SHIT! NO! GET AWAY! GET AWAY YOU FREAKS!" – shouted the lizardman soldier as he was straight up butchered by the grey monsters as they made their advance.

The dragon queen responded by unleashing a hail of blades made with ice, cutting to shreds the grey monsters… But again, these monsters didn't had any sense of fear, so new ones already replaced the slain ones.

(Fuck! Even with now necromancers making some proper undeads now, we are still having hard time because of these suicidal bastards!) – thought the queen as she was firing her ice magic nonstop, trying to keep back the grey monsters and give time for the necromancers to raise more undeads.

However… Because she was using such powerful moves non stop in order for her army to not get overwhelmed by the sheer numbers, the dragon queen was using a lot of her mana.

And it wasn't just her.

The two other allied armies were facing the same issues.

Even with the elite force and necromancy force that was dispatched by the Garog empire, all three armies were still struggling.

Even worse, the Garog empire forces WERE making their presence known.

The elite members were eliminating a large number of enemies on their own while the necromancers were able to nonstop increase the number of the soldiers on the alliance side, while also using their undeads to act as meat shields, resulting in the many lives being saved.

They were powerful… But still, a large number of soldiers from all three armies were keep getting slain by the grey monsters.

Not only that, but their suicidal charges had an alarming effectiveness that ended up striking the fear into the dragons' forces.

The numbers was one thing.

But fear?

With it now in play, the defenses of the alliance's armies were somewhat shattering bit by bit, giving the grey monsters more opportunity to kill.

The dragon rulers obviously tried doing all they can… However-

Even they had their limits.

"?!"

"THE CANNONS! THE CANNONS ARE ACTIVATING!" – shouted Cave who was working alongside Wo'won clan.

"!?"

(WHAT?! CANNONS?!) – thought the dragon queen as she looked towards the city and noticed that the city automatic defenses started being activated.

"YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" – shouted the dragon queen as she got ready to unleash her breath attack.

However, before she could, the automatic defenses fired their cannons and guns… But not towards the dragon army.

Instead, they started bombarding the grey monsters.

"…Eh?" – the dragon queen was completely caught off guard about what was happening just now.

But it wasn't just happening near her.

The other cities also activated their automatic defenses and started bombarding the grey armies that the two other alliance forces had been struggling with.

"What the hell is going on?" – said the confused queen as the cannons continued firing ONLY at the grey monsters.

"!" – and while observing the sudden change of the situation, she noticed that her communication device that she had on her was ringing, causing the dragoness to use her magic to lift up the communication device towards her.

"It's Litle Maniac!" – said LM.

"Our group managed to infiltrate the castle and I found the control room in charge of the defenses! I've had managed to activate the city defenses and turn them against the grey monsters!"

"?!" – the queen in hurry took on her humanoid form.

"Is this true?!" – asked the queen.

"Yes! But this isn't all! This control room had also ability to take control of the two other cities defenses! I've turned all 3 cities against Kai'ku'dan clan!" – shouted LM as the queen observed how the tides of the war had changed.

"…"

"MY PEOPLE! THE DEFENCES OF THE KAI'KU'DAN CLAN HAD BEEN TAKEN OVER BY US! WE HAD TURNED THEIR WEAPON AGAINST THEM!" – shouted the queen to her troops.

"IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THE FLOW OF THIS BATTLE!" – shouted the queen as her troops had slowly started fighting off the fear that was consuming them.

"You!" – shouted the queen as she crashed into the ground, landing near the two dragonewt mages.

"Contact our allies! Explain to them that we had managed to take over the Kai'ku'dan clan defensive systems and turn them against the traitors! GO!"

"UNDERSTOOD!" – replied the mages as they quickly flew off with their wings.

"Queen! Are you still there?" – asked LM.

"Yes! I'm!" – replied the queen.

"The royal family of the Kai'ku'dan clan had betrayed their own clan. They had slaughtered everybody who weren't turned into the monsters and were even waiting for us in the castle! We had already fought 4 of them and had exterminated them!"

"They weren't turned into grey monsters!"

"…."

"Those bitches." – said the pissed off dragon queen.

"…"

"Anyway, you said that you can control the 3 cities defenses from your current spot?"

"Yes. This castle is filled with secret defenses and even secret passages." – replied LM.

"The place I'm at was guarded by the two grandchildren of the dragon king."

"I will be probably staying here since maybe I could try doing something more or find something hidden in here."

"Yes, please do." – said the dragon queen before the call has ended.

(Those bastards even murdered the people who weren't turned into the monsters?) – thought pissed off queen.

(Not only that, but "royal family"? They have truly betrayed their entire clan and leaving only themselves alive?! What the hell are they planning?!)

"PUSH FORWARD!" – shouted the dragon queen.

"DON'T STOP UNTIL WE MURDER THESE TRAITORS TO THE LAST!"

[Meanwhile: Hidden passage – Oron]

(So, this is the strength of the child of the dragon king, huh?) – thought Oron as he ran away from the corpse of the dragon.

(He was only slightly stronger than grandchildren? This was bit disappointing.)

(Then again, our information did said that the grandchildren could possibly inherit the throne as well… So maybe some children and grandchildren are on the weaker side, while some others are on the stronger side?)

(But why are they doing it like that? I mean, splitting up like this?)

(I get that we had caught them off guard, with us managing to get inside of the castle before the main army could even breach the city.)

(But still… This strategy doesn't make sense.)
