Chapter 857 - 858 – Grey – Part 6.

The trio of the players couldn't be stopped.

The golems had hard time keeping up with them and even when they did, they were either destroyed or were caught in the traps set up by the players, which ended up slowing the golems and not letting the players momentum be destroyed.

And because of that, it didn't took long for them to discover a location of the throne room.

Specifically, Oron who just blasted away the door and entered extremely long and massive hall.

(According to the information given to me by the queen of Wo'won clan, this place should be a throne room.) – thought Oron as when looking around he saw even more corpses of the guards and knights laying around.

"…" – and he also saw the two presences that were hiding behind two massive pillars, but thanks to his demonic eye he could easily notice them.

Oron without any warning aimed with his crossbow and fired his weapon, aiming at one of the columns and blowing it up.

"?!" – an explosion caught off guard the figure who was hiding behind the pillar, as after getting hit they instantly leaped out of their location… Only to be met with several shots that pierced their body before they could even react.

Right after that the second figure panicked and revealed itself by using a bombardment of arcane magic… Which Oron countered with his demonic magic.

"?" – but after countering that barrage, Oron was met with a massive magic sphere covered in runes, which smashed right into his current location and exploded, unleashing a massive explosion of arcane magic.

"Did I get him!?" – said the second figure… Who didn't noticed that the shadow on the wall came to life and the crossbow was poking out of it.

"!?" – and just as the figure realized that, he was blasted with crossbow, which unleashed a devasting explosions, dealing a massive critical damage and blasting the figure away.

The figure tried to get up instantly, but a hail of poison and fire came his way.

"GET DOWN YOU IDIOT!" – but just then, the first figure stormed in and deployed a massive barrier, protecting the second figure from the barrage of magic.

"…"

"I knew it." – said Oron as he was already outside of the shadow while the cloud of dust around the two figures settled down, revealing a two bluish purple dragons in human forms with their wings, tails, horns and scales covering their bodies.

The first figure was a female, in somewhat military dress, and the second one was male who wore a mage cloak.

"The traitors were the only ones who didn't transformed." – said Oron.

"Bastard. Who are you?!" – shouted Korjoin as Phantasia in response once again with his crossbow, alarming Mydiona who instantly put up her barrier, aiming to protect herself and her brother just as the hail of projectiles came their way.

…But this time, her barrier did nothing as the crossbow bolts just pierced right through it, piercing the two dragons' bodies instantly.

"!?"

(H-how?!) – thought the female dragon as she was completely caught off guard by this.

The male dragon tried standing up, but he got instantly headshoted by Oron, stopping the dragon in tracks and dealing extremely massive critical damage to the dragon.

Oron, he was not messing one bit with the two, and he was aiming to kill them without mercy.

On the other side of the castle was Tail and LM, who were exploring the castle, looking for something anything weird had found something thanks to LM tracing skill.

"Here." - said LM as Tail used his daggers infused with shadow magic to cut apart the floor, revealing a hidden passage with a latter that stretched extremely long distance to the very bottom… But they saw something at the bottom.

A light.

And that made the two players instantly jumped into, falling down, before then reaching the very bottom of the secret passage.

"!" – but as soon as they did, they were met by the hail of arcane magic.

"?!"

"They are not here?!" – said the male voice as neither Tail or LM were in sight.

And in the next moment, the duo also emerged from the shadows with their skills, launching their attacks at the two figures, dealing critical blows.

"Fuck! You dam-"

The male voice owner tried counter attacking… But he was met with the creepy ballon like clown.

"Eh?" – the male voice owner was caught off guard by the clown suddenly appearing right in front of him… But in the exact next moment the clown swollen up and blew up, unleashing a massive explosion that struck the two figures, sending them flying right into the electroclinic panels.

"!"

(What is this place?) – thought Tail as he noticed that the space where the duo was now in was some kind of control room, filled with monitors and consols everywhere.

(…And who are they?) – thought Oron as he saw a female dragon and male dragon, which were both wearing armors.

"…No mercy." – said Tail.

"Of course." – replied LM as the duo started fighting the dragons.

Meanwhile, back in the throne room, the two dragons that were fighting Oron transformed into their true forms….

However-

"H…How?" – said the male dragon as his body was riddled with holes while his sister was already dead beside him.

"…" – Oron didn't answered the question and instead pulled the trigger, firing his crossbow and blowing a hole in the dragon's head, killing him right on the spot.

And just like that, without even going all out or even struggling, Oron managed to quickly eliminate the two grandchildren of the traitors dragon king.

"…"

(Members of the royal family of the Kai'ku'dan clan weren't turned into grey monsters.) – thought Oron as he instantly began inspecting the throne room by summoning some of his demons to help him out in search.

(Pretty much with that on top of everything else, it just confirms it that the Kai'ku'dan clan… No.)

(Just their royal family had betrayed the whole dragon empire.) – thought Oron as he rushed right at the throne room and began inspecting it.

"[Demonic Eye Of Truth: Energy]." – Oron once again used his eye in order to search for the flow of energy… And he saw it.

However, it wasn't coming from throne.

It was instead coming from one of the pillars, which Oron instantly attacked with his crossbow, breaking it apart… But at the same time, revealing a hidden passage that hidden inside.

"Oron." – said Tail through communication device.

"What is it, Tail?" – asked Oron.

"We just encountered and eliminated two of the targets. Both were the members of royal family and they weren't grey monsters." – said Tail as the two dragons in their true forms were eliminated by the duo.

"I just had the same encounter. I also encounter two royal dragons who weren't monsters." – said Oron.

"I've also found some kind of secret passage in the throne room."

"We also found one." – said LM.

"However, this one seems to be some kind of control room? There are cameras that are monitoring the city as well as panels that seems to be controlling the golems."

"!"

"What about the city security system!? Do you have control over it?" – asked Oron.

"Wait a second, I will check. We had pretty a rough battle here, so this entire place is-"

"Oh, never mind. Found it… And it is still working too!" – said LM.

"Can you try using them against grey monsters?" – asked Oron.

"Hm… I don't know… I need to understand how thin thing work… But maybe it could work, give me some time." – said LM as he started messing around with consoles, trying to control them.

"…"

"Beside controls there is something else here." – said Tail as he used his shadows to open up a door, which were protecting a long corridor.

"There is another passage here."

"…I think I can manage." – said Tail while looking at the corpses of the dragons.

"The royal dragons are tough, but I should be able alone to take on two grandchildren, or maybe hold off 3."

"…What do you think LM?" – asked Oron.

"…Hm… He is right, either him or me can only the grandchildren without any trouble." – said LM.

"He should manage."

(Still, this felt way too easy.) – thought LM.

(They could endure some attacks, but after a while we had exterminated them?)

(I did took some damage… But still… We won?)

(…Can I take solo the child of the dragon king? Or what about the dragon king himself? Can I take him on solo.)

"If you two say so, then do it. Report if you see anything." – said Oron as took out communication device and started running downstair through the secret passage.
