Villainess Breaker: Raising Broken Beauties Against Destiny
Chapter 325: The Spy Sisters Return
At the far edge of the battlefield, Serina and Miona were already running like hell.
Neither of them gave a damn about the war or even their own sect anymore.
They had never expected the war between the Blue Mist Sect and the Nether Blood Moon Sect to become this fucking insane.
Both sisters were Peak Foundation Establishment cultivators, and they were secretly demonic cultivators on top of that, but that didn’t mean they were fearless.
They could kill people, lie, infiltrate righteous sects, and do all kinds of dirty work, but that didn’t mean they were fearless in the face of death.
Miona gritted her teeth as she followed Serina deeper into the forest. "Sister, this shit is completely out of control!"
Serina’s breathing was heavier than usual, but her expression remained relatively composed as she continued moving farther away from the battlefield. "I know."
She glanced briefly over her shoulder. "What else can we do? Staying there is far more dangerous. That entire battlefield has already become a mess."
Another violent explosion echoed from behind them, and several trees trembled from the distant shockwave.
Miona cursed under her breath and increased her speed. "Do you think anyone noticed us leaving?"
She hesitated for a moment before adding more quietly, "Or worse... do you think there’s a chance they realized we’re spies?"
Serina didn’t slow down and simply said, "It doesn’t matter anymore."
Miona raised an eyebrow, clearly not understanding what she meant.
Serina’s voice remained calm despite the urgency of their situation. "We’ve already left. Whether they discovered our identities or not changes nothing now."
Her eyes turned colder as she added, "What matters right now is staying alive."
Miona fell silent. As much as she hated admitting it, her sister was right.
At this point, even if their identities as spies had been completely exposed, neither of them gave a shit anymore.
Getting exposed was a problem they could deal with later, but getting killed now meant everything would be over.
The sisters continued running through the forest without stopping, but suddenly, Serina’s expression changed, raising one hand. "Stop."
Miona reacted instantly and came to a halt. Before she could ask why, she noticed Serina staring straight ahead.
Both women slowly shifted their gazes forward. A mysterious figure stood directly in front of them.
The man wore a completely black outfit accompanied by a black dragon mask that concealed his face.
Neither Serina nor Miona recognized the outfit, as it belonged to neither the Blue Mist Sect nor the Nether Blood Moon Sect.
Miona immediately drew her weapon and stepped slightly in front of Serina. "Who the fuck are you?!"
Serina also became cautious. Unlike her younger sister, she didn’t immediately reach for her weapon, instead carefully observing the strange masked man.
The man stared at them for a second before suddenly laughing. "Hey, hey. Have you two really forgotten me already?"
Serina froze. She knew that familiar voice, the voice of the only person who knew their true identities as spies despite not belonging to any demonic faction. "Damian?"
Damian instantly pointed toward her. "There we go! At least one of you remembers me."
Miona stared at him before recognition finally struck her as well. "That shameless bastard?"
Damian placed a hand against his chest as if deeply offended. "Damn. Nice to see you too, Miona."
His attention shifted toward the older sister. "And Serina, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?"
Serina ignored his nonsense completely and glanced back toward the distant battlefield.
Damian immediately understood what she was worried about.
He casually gestured behind himself. "Come with me if you two don’t want to die here."
Miona’s suspicion instantly returned, and her grip tightened. "Why the hell should we trust..."
Before she could finish, Serina suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her toward Damian.
Miona stopped mid-sentence and looked back at her in surprise. "Sister?"
Serina didn’t look at her. She kept her eyes on Damian and said, "Let’s just follow him for now."
Miona frowned. "What do you mean by that? Why do we need..."
Serina didn’t let her continue. "He’s our best chance of getting away from this battlefield safely."
Her voice remained controlled, but her grip tightened slightly. "Besides, he might be a shameless pervert, but he won’t randomly harm women."
Damian’s eye twitched beneath his mask. "That description started pretty fucking badly."
Miona wanted to argue, but Serina cut her off again. "This isn’t the time to argue. We need to get away from here first."
She lowered her voice slightly. "If Damian tries anything, don’t worry. I’ll deal with him."
Her fingers tightened around Miona’s wrist. "And if things go wrong, I’ll cover you."
Miona’s expression changed. "Sister..."
Damian watched the two sisters for a moment before rubbing the side of his mask. "Damn, please believe me. I’m not like that."
Miona clicked her tongue before reluctantly putting her weapon away. "Fine."
She pointed directly at Damian. "But if you try anything weird with my sister... I swear..."
Damian waved his hand dismissively. "Okay, okay, I know. I already said it. For now, let’s go. And also, nice to see you’re exactly the same, Miona."
Miona frowned and nearly reached for her weapon, but Serina tightened her grip on her sister’s arm and calmly stopped her. "Don’t."
Miona stared at Damian’s back with murderous irritation. "Just you wait."
Damian laughed loudly. "Hahaha! You really are still the same, Miona."
---
Cassandra watched the two sisters from a distance before suddenly laughing. "Hahaha! These two sisters are pretty interesting."
Linsey glanced toward her. "Interesting how?"
Cassandra folded her arms, clearly entertained. "The older one is calm, careful, and keeps dragging the younger one away from trouble."
Her gaze shifted toward Miona, who was currently glaring at Damian’s back like she wanted to stab him. "And the younger one looks like she’s one sentence away from trying to kill him."
Linsey immediately laughed. "That part sounds normal."
Evelyn gave a small nod. "Very normal."
Cassandra glanced at the two of them before her lips curved slightly. "Come on. Let’s go meet Damian now."
The three women quickly descended from the hill.
A few moments later, Damian heard footsteps approaching from behind and turned around. "Ah, there you are."
Cassandra walked forward first, her eyes immediately moving toward Serina and Miona.
Serina became cautious the moment she saw the unfamiliar women approaching.
Miona reacted even faster and reached for her weapon again. "More people?"
Damian waved his hand. "Relax. They’re with me."
Miona stared at him. "That doesn’t make it better."
Damian placed a hand against his chest. "Damn. You really don’t trust me at all."
Miona stared at him. "No."
Damian laughed. "Damn, that answer came out way too fucking fast, didn’t it?"
