Damian glanced back toward the battlefield before turning toward Linsey and Evelyn. "Alright. Linsey, Evelyn."

Both women immediately looked at him.

Damian casually pointed toward the war still raging in the distance. "Time to show the world what our group can actually do."

Linsey’s eyes immediately lit up behind her mask. "Finally!"

She had been standing around watching everyone else fight for far too long, and from the way she immediately straightened, it was obvious she had been itching to join the battle herself.

Evelyn showed considerably less excitement. She simply adjusted her grip on her bow and gave a short nod. "Fine."

Damian waved them forward. "Go have fun. I’ll stay here and talk with these two for now."

Linsey didn’t need to be told twice.

She immediately rushed toward the battlefield, with Evelyn following shortly behind at a much calmer pace.

Serina and Miona watched the two women leave with visibly confused expressions.

Miona stared after them for several seconds before finally looking back at Damian. "They’re seriously going into that fucking mess?"

Serina said nothing, but her gaze remained fixed on Linsey and Evelyn as they rapidly approached the battlefield.

The place they were willingly entering was the exact battlefield that she and Miona had just risked their lives escaping from.

Something about that immediately felt wrong.

Cassandra, meanwhile, remained beside Damian.

She folded her arms and openly examined the two sisters from head to toe without bothering to hide her curiosity. "So..."

Her gaze settled on Serina first before shifting toward Miona. "These are the women you mentioned earlier? Your connection on the demonic side?"

Damian nodded casually. "Yep."

Miona immediately frowned. "Connection?"

She pointed toward Damian with obvious irritation. "Don’t make it sound like we’re fucking friends."

Damian turned toward her and laughed. "Hahaha! Connection or not, you’re still connected to me somehow, you know."

Miona’s eyebrow twitched.

Damian casually tapped the side of his mask. "I know your real identities, after all."

Serina’s expression became slightly more serious at that reminder.

Damian continued before either sister could respond. "Also..."

He placed one finger against his lips before pointing toward Miona. "You might want to tone down that attitude a little."

Miona looked offended almost instantly. "Excuse me?"

Damian tilted his head toward Cassandra. "This Queen over here is quite fucking dangerous."

Cassandra slowly turned toward him.

Damian immediately raised one hand. "Your chosen codename, not mine."

Cassandra gave an approving little nod. "Good."

Miona’s irritation visibly increased. "You..."

But before she could even continue cursing, Cassandra casually shifted her gaze toward her.

Just a single glance from Cassandra made Miona’s words instantly die in her throat.

At the same moment, Serina’s expression changed as well.

A crushing sense of danger suddenly wrapped around both sisters, paralyzing their bodies.

Miona’s hand, which had been moving toward her weapon, stopped halfway.

Serina’s fingers tightened slightly around her sleeve as cold sweat slowly formed along her back.

The pressure wasn’t even comparable to what they had felt from the Golden Core elders fighting in the distance.

Those people were dangerous, but Cassandra was something else entirely.

For the first time, both sisters felt with absolute certainty that if they moved even a single muscle, they would die.

---

Cassandra’s pressure continued growing heavier.

Miona gritted her teeth as every instinct in her body screamed at her not to move.

Yet despite that suffocating sense of danger, she forced her trembling legs forward.

She moved directly in front of Serina, placing herself between her sister and Cassandra.

Serina’s expression immediately changed. "Miona..."

Miona ignored her.

Her face had already turned pale, and sweat ran down the side of her cheek, but she stubbornly raised her head toward Cassandra. "Don’t... do anything to my sister."

Serina frowned deeply and tried to pull her back, but Miona suddenly turned toward Damian instead.

She forced her mouth open despite the crushing pressure surrounding her. "Just take me instead."

Damian blinked. "Huh?"

Miona clenched her fists tightly enough for her nails to dig into her palms. "If you want me as your servant, your slave, or whatever the fuck you want to call it, I’ll do it."

Her voice trembled slightly, but she refused to back down. "Just let my sister go."

Serina’s eyes widened. "Miona, shut up."

Cassandra, however, suddenly let out an amused laugh. "Hahaha... hey."

Miona reluctantly shifted her attention toward her.

Cassandra tilted her head, clearly finding the entire situation increasingly entertaining. "I think you’re misunderstanding something."

She casually pointed one finger toward Damian. "Even becoming this bastard’s slave has requirements."

Damian’s eye immediately twitched beneath his mask. "Why the hell are you making it sound like I’m actively recruiting slaves?"

Cassandra ignored him completely. "At the very least, you’d need to reach the Golden Core Realm."

Miona froze.

Even Serina momentarily forgot what she had been about to say.

Cassandra casually gestured toward the battlefield where Linsey and Evelyn had disappeared earlier. "Those two women who just went into that battlefield?"

She gave Damian a sideways glance before continuing. "They’re both this bastard’s slaves, and both of them are Golden Core cultivators."

Damian immediately protested, "Can we stop saying ’this bastard’s slaves’ like I run some shady fucking slave market?"

Cassandra didn’t even acknowledge him.

Serina and Miona had already gone completely silent, both of them stunned after hearing the truth about the two women who had been acting so playful only a short while ago.

Miona was the first to recover from the shock. She immediately gritted her teeth. "I can do it."

Serina immediately looked at her. "What?"

Miona clenched her fists again. "I’m already at Peak Foundation Establishment. I’ll break through to the Golden Core Realm soon."

She stared stubbornly at Damian. "Give me a few days. I can fucking do it."

Serina finally forced her body to move despite Cassandra’s lingering pressure and grabbed Miona’s hand. "No."

Miona looked toward her in surprise. "Sister?"

She opened her mouth, but Serina immediately cut her off. "You can’t do that. Just leave."

Serina stepped forward, trying to move ahead of her younger sister. "If someone has to stay with him, let him take me instead."

Miona’s expression immediately twisted. "What the fuck are you talking about?!"

She grabbed Serina’s arm and pulled her back. "I’m trying to get you away from this shameless bastard!"

Damian’s eye twitched again. "Why am I catching strays in your sister’s argument?"

Neither woman listened to him.

Serina’s expression hardened as she pulled against Miona’s grip. "I’m the older sister."

Miona stared at her. "So?"

Serina’s voice became firmer. "That means I’m the one who should protect you. If one of us has to sacrifice herself, it should be me."

Miona looked genuinely offended. "That doesn’t mean shit!"

She shoved Serina lightly behind her again. "You’re always doing everything because you’re the older sister. Just get the hell out of here and let the younger one do it for once!"

Serina immediately grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back. "Hell no."

Miona shouted, "Why the fuck not?!"

Serina pointed at her head. "Because you’re my younger sister."

Her calm demeanor was finally beginning to crack. "How the hell am I supposed to walk away and leave you here in my place?"

Miona snapped back just as quickly. "And how the hell do you expect me to do that to you?!"

Within seconds, the two sisters had completely forgotten about Cassandra’s terrifying aura and were now arguing directly in front of everyone over which one of them should sacrifice herself.

Damian silently watched the argument for several seconds, turning his head from Miona to Serina, then back again before finally looking toward Cassandra.

He pointed at the two sisters. "Uh... what the actual fuck just happened?"

Cassandra stared at the two sisters, who were now practically trying to shove each other toward freedom.

For once, even the Demonic Queen seemed genuinely unsure. She frowned slightly. "Truthfully, Damian, I have no fucking idea."
