By the time Margaret declared her intention, Ray nearly lost his composure.

’This bitch!’ He cursed silently. As much as he wanted to lash out right now, he could feel too many eyes were locked on him.

The kind that predators used on the feeble prey.

In the meantime, Margaret was enjoying this moment thoroughly.

’Hmph, you think I still don’t know your lazy nature. I bet you definitely want to mingle and fail the test; then I’ll let you fail and get assigned to the toughest class.’ She sneered inwardly.

Others might dream of being in Class S, but definitely not Ray.

"Are there any other questions?" She ignored him and asked calmly.

She had finally gotten back at the disrespectful Ray. Her mood couldn’t be any better.

Of course, the thought that two students were already disqualified because their lives had been forfeited wasn’t forgotten.

She decided to ensure no accidents were possible during the entry trial.

"Any life-threatening injuries sustained or immediately given up would result in your transportation back." Margaret informed and warned, "If your opponent clearly couldn’t fight anymore, but you refused to let them surrender, there would be consequences."

When she said those parts, she made sure to stare at Ray, her intention being rather obvious.

After all, his deed in the arena section was painfully obvious to others.

He won, but he didn’t land any final blows. Instead, he taunted and went way beyond what sportsmanship allowed.

That enlightened Margaret to enforce new rules. In a sense, she actually had to thank him for giving her so many insights to prevent similar situations.

When no one else raised their hand, she was about to move on to the topic until Ray raised his hand.

"Yes?" Margaret gestured to him to talk.

"Why single me out? Isn’t this just biased and goes against the equality that you just tried to promote?" Ray wasn’t going to let that slide without a fight.

"5,000 Stellan Points if you accept it and an additional 5,000 more if you survive till the end," Margaret replied flatly.

"Not a bad deal, right? A guaranteed 5,000 points and an additional one if your abilities are really that wonderful. With 10,000 points, you can do a lot of things and skip almost 3 months of class without worrying about failing."

"..."

Ray snorted coldly and stood up.

"Do you think I’m that type of person?" He roared and crossed his arms.

A few seconds of silence commenced. Everyone thought he was going to throw a fit or do something worse.

But to their absolute astonishment, Ray nodded his head.

"You’ve guessed it. I really am that type of person!" He chuckled and accepted the deal.

It was only that his face wasn’t blurred and the others still needed to actually find him within the trial.

Moreover, he highly doubted the others could capture him when he could just slip away before their encounter.

And on the off-chance there was no escape, Ray was confident in defending himself.

The only person he needed to avoid and beware of was the protagonist, William. For some reason, William had been eyeing him like a stalker.

’What are you even staring at? I’ve rejected your duel previously, and now you think this is your opportunity?’ Nothing was more frustrating than getting the protagonist’s unwanted attention.

This was especially so when Ray knew the protagonist wasn’t a straight man and needed to be distanced away.

He had no bias or judgment toward those who aren’t straight, but he was 100 percent straight and was only into women.

Sorry, but please do not pay much attention to him.

Find another man to focus on.

Speaking of men, where in the hell was Edgar?

Ray honestly forgot about this so-called best friend?

When did he even appear in the novel?

Ray was clueless since his attention span was mostly on the protagonist and the heroines.

"Great, looks like there’s no objection." Margaret clasped her hands and was satisfied with the result.

Only Elsa and the other professors shook their heads in defeat at her willfulness.

’I suppose it’s fine.’ Elsa was certain that this bias wouldn’t affect Raymond much. Even if he were to be caught, he was going to be sent to Class S anyway.

In other words, Raymond got the golden ticket.

But then the weird part about it was that Raymond seemed rather displeased with the golden ticket admission to Class S.

Class S was basically the cream of the talent and specialized. Following that was Class A all the way to Class F.

To prioritize the maximum resource distribution, it was inevitable that the higher the class, the better the benefit as opposed to the lower class.

It was hard to even imagine anyone would be willing to forfeit their Class S status and go to Class F instead... unless they were a lunatic and had a screw loose in their head.

15 minutes later, Margaret reckoned most of the students had been fed well.

She clapped her hands enhanced with mana and gathered everyone’s attention.

"Anyway, without further ado, the missions would be displayed brightly at the top of the sky. Once a mission was completed, it would immediately be shown, and a new mission would appear next. No names would be displayed on them, but a number value tag would be shown on top of your head."

Soon, the students clenched their fists in excitement.

Margaret flicked her hand, and multiple tokens were summoned directly next to the students’ chairs.

"Grab hold of the token, and you’d be transported right away. Remember, the missions might get refreshed, but their value might not be the same."

With the subtle warning that some missions might not be worth as much, many students quickly grabbed hold of the token and were transported away.

Some hesitated briefly before taking hold of it in the end.

There was only one exception, though.

"Student Raymond, what are you waiting for?" Margaret raised an eyebrow and asked.

"Hmm, me?" Ray pointed at himself. "I’m surviving the hunt by not entering, duh."
