Chapter 56 56. ESTEEMED GUEST
The mansion was painted brown, as it had multiple wings attached to it, they couldn’t see all of its size, but it was big.
Immediately the group was multiple hundreds of meters away from the mansion. They parked the carriage as the stunning figure of Augustus and Luke exited the carriage.
Augustus was currently draped in what looked like a black kamishimo, that fit him perfectly, coupled with the multiple flickering inscriptions that seemed to scream defense. In his hand was a Katana, which when coupled with his grey ponytail, made him resemble a real samurai.
Luke himself was actually in a grey armor, which also flickered on and off with similar colored inscriptions, though eventually, they died down. Strapped to his back was a giant sword though it didn’t seem to bother his movements since he looked incredibly comfortable.
All in all, their figures radiated danger.
Bringing out a scroll, and spreading it on the ground, to Noah’s shock, he found that the scroll housed the layout of the Mansion, with even explanations.
Noah couldn’t help but voice out his confusion. “How do you even have a blueprint of the Mansion, I thought this was a change of plan,” Noah asked as he inspected the scroll.
“This building belongs to the Holon family, and before I left the main mansion, I took all scrolls that had the layouts of any of our multiple mansions,” Augustus explained with a shrug.
Nodding his head, Noah’s voice rang out, “Please rebrief us on our plan,”.
The mansion was used by the Holon family to breed experts who would be loyal to the, and there were exactly five of these types of mansions, where multiple experts had been made.
But the only difference about this one was that it had only recently been set up a few decades ago, which was why the experts there were only as strong as tier 1 and 2. Augustus explained that the remaining four had multiple experts in tier 3 and upwards.
The plan was to enter the mansion compound, through the back gate which was where they currently were, and from there take out the weaker numbers, while Augustus and Luke would take care of the peak tier 2’s.
This sounded easy, until when Augustus Informed them that, the place contained multiple experts at their level, that, the real reason they were attacking the mansion, was to rescue a person, and that their most important job was to create a mess big enough for Augustus and Luke to deal with the people in charge, and rescue the person. .𝒄𝒐𝒎
Bern had asked how they would return, and the answer was, that they would have to meet up at their current position, which was where the carriage was, they would spend another day, or two going back to a new route that would take them to Crilion.
After a bit over thirty minutes, the debriefing was done, they had a bit over an hour to complete this rescue of the still unknown person, and return to the position of the carriage.
But a question was brought up, “Who’s gon stay behind to watch the carriage?” the voice of Jessica rang out, bringing all attention to her.
“I’ll do it,” Noah announced, as all eyes fell on him. Truth be told he wanted to fight some people, but he had a lot of doubts about the whole rescue mission, and if no one contested it with him, he would stay.
“No I’ll stay, they will need your incredible speed to finish off most of the targets,” the voice of James rang out, “And besides, I am the weakest here, I’ll just be deadweight,” he added while glancing at Jonas, who avoided it.
Sighing inwardly at James’ point, Noah retrieved his staff from the inventory.
Nodding at their decision, Luke shot a threatening glance at James, which meant, ‘Don’t you dare run away.
Focusing on the seven, Luke’s voice rang out, “Let’s go!”.

Inside the walls of the brown mansion, our mc and his group are about to forcefully enter, and carry out a rescue mission.
Within a big chamber, adorned with multiple types and colors of tapestries, carpets, and curtains, which isn’t the main focus here.
The figures of two men and a woman could be seen sitting around a small black table and discussing something.
Their voices were low even though they had power in the peak of tier 2, as at times it would seemingly turn to whispers, though they still heard each other due to their heightened sense, as experts in tier 2.
“It’s been twelve days since we sent that golem. It crumbled signifying, it had completed its mission, but do you think he would take the bait?” one of the three present said.
He was a man who looked to be in his early thirties, he had short black hair, and his eyes were brown, he currently wore a brown robe like his colleagues.
The woman present burst into laughter, then she immediately reduced her voice, and replied, “Of course, he would. She is his lover after all,”.
The woman looked to be in her mid-thirties but was actually above average in looks. She had black hair that reached her shoulder, which looked neatly groomed and oiled. Her eyes were black which gave her a mysterious look whenever she was silent.
“You two should stop the argument, we all know he is either here or very close. We should visit our esteemed guests, to see if they need anything,” The last person of the trio said, in a tone so silent, that his audience had to strain their ears to make out what he said.
The man looked the oldest, being at around his late forties or early fifties, his aura was also the strongest as it threatened to spill over into the next realm any second. The man had blue long hair, and grey eyes, he wasn’t blind as they seemed to shimmer in the dimly lit environment of the room.
All standing up from their seats, at the same time, without any more words, they left the room. Walking down the passageway, which was lit with bright lights due to the sun already beginning to set.
The trio encountered multiple other experts, who would bow respectfully at their passage, straightening their positions after the trio had walked past them.
They walked for a few minutes, until the man at the forefront, who was the oldest, opened a brown door, which led to a stairway that went deeper down into the building.
It didn’t take long for them the walk down the flight of stairs, as a big black metal door entered their sights.
Opening the door, the three experts were greeted with the smell of damp air, as the place was constantly locked.
The room, or rather the hall which they entered, featured multiple cell-like structures, as even the smell of corpses permeated the whole place, though it didn’t seem to bother the three.
Walking for a few seconds, they were greeted with the sight, of a lady chained to the ceiling with both her arms, which caused her thinly clothed figure to dangle left and right.
She seemed to notice the three new presences, as she raised her blonde haired head, to glance at them.
Immediately she saw who her visitors were, she put down her head seemed to rest.
Her body was filled with multiple wounds, as the woman herself was an expert in the peak of tier 2 like them.
This sight made cold sweat run down the backs of the three, as they turned their heads towards the sitting figure by the side.
The man had an expressionless face, which made him look meek, but the three knew that was the face he made when he was bored.
The trio bowed towards this cleanly clothed figure, as he glanced towards them, and back at the chained lady, then he gently rose from his seat.
Straightening his position, an intense aura seeped out of his figure, sending chills down the spines of the trio, as this their esteemed guest, radiated power in the realm of tier 3!!!.
