Chapter 57 57. ATTACKING
Moving quietly among the various bushes and trees, nine figures, which belonged to the hired team of Augustus; the second child of the house of Holon, that had been kicked out by his sister, stopped in front of a black metallic door on the outside wall.
Everyone present wondered why it wasn’t guarded, as their answer came quickly. “Only those who have been given permission, or bear the blood of the Holon family can open such doors safely,” Augustus explained, as he promptly rushed towards the door, bit his finger which drew blood, then traced a rune of sorts on it.
The nine watched as the door lit up with a brown radiance, though it wasn’t that bright, then immediately after, the sound of locks opening resounded as the door opened before them.
Immediately that happened, the voice of Augustus rang out, “Don’t forget, you are to get out using this door, it won’t close until someone manually does, so make sure to not leave any person alive that can do this,” he explained in a low tone.
All of them nodded, as they put on stern expressions. Seeing that gesture, Augustus walked through the door first, then the others did the same.
A massive building entered their sights, they saw multiple small gardens, and empty spaces filled with sand, probably for training.
Immediately they had successfully entered, Augustus and Luke ran towards a direction, leaving the rest, who weren’t worried, since they all knew what their primary jobs were, ‘Create chaos’.
Noah himself could only smile while he cast ‘energy armour’, a magical circle expanded beneath him, while tendrils of electrical energy shot out, wrapping around his body, and leaving behind only a dull halo.
With that done, Noah glanced around to see that his teammates, were shooting perplexed gaze’s at him. Smiling in response to their gaze’s, Noah moved forward.
Expanding his consciousness, he managed to pick up multiple aura’s, they mostly belonged to those in tier 1, and a few in tier 2.
Running towards the area that was congregated the most according to what he felt. Noah found himself rushing down a hallway, his staff being waved left and right, as he cut down the numerous people he saw on the passage way.
He didn’t let his mind wander into the fact that, he could be killing potentially innocent people, while he kicked a thick wooden door down. He saw over thirty humans, who were currently sitting and chatting, some standing, while they ate the food before them. 𝚍o𝚟𝚕.org
Glancing behind himself, Noah found that he had left his teammates behind, but soon enough, multiple explosions rang out and screams could also be heard.
Steeling his heart, Noah activated the effects of the speed force, which caused his environment to slow down even more, as the figures of people trying to attack him basically stopped.
Noah didn’t hide his speed, because he knew none of them would be leaving alive.
Taking a step forward, while switching his staff with a pair of Daggers. Noah did a series of finger movements with the daggers, as he arrived before his first victim.
Slashing at the young man’s chest, Noah watched In slow motion, the mans chest split open, as a fountain of fresh blood threatened to spill out, but Noah was faster.
Moving onto his next target before the first knew he was dead, Noah slashed upwards at his head…
This continued for just seven seconds, as Noah took care of the tier 1 individuals, in the cafeteria of sorts in record time.
Exiting the room, with a bloodied pair of daggers, but not a single drop of blood on him, Noah did a side step, dodging the arrow of water, that tried to kill him.
Glancing at the expert that did this, with cold eyes, Noah sensed that he was a tier 2, but merely in the lower stage.
The man also sensed the young man’s power to be much higher than his, so he decided to try and escape, but before that thought could completely form in his mind, he saw Noah’s figure disappear, and in the next instant, he found that his perceptions of the environment, was currently upside down, also seeing a headless body that resembled his very much. The man died with surprise in his eyes.
Rushing through the passage way, while chaos spread every where, Noah continued taking care of the experts he encountered. He also tried his best not to encounter his teammates, as he went deeper in to the mansion.
Noah found halls that stretched for multiple tens of meters, with doors on each side, he clicked his tongue, as this was going to take a while.

Dashing down a brightly lit hall, while taking rights and lefts, as though they knew the layout of the Mansion, Luke, and Augustus cut down anyone that was unfortunate enough to encounter their figures.
Taking a right into one of the multiple other passages. Augustus swung his sword so fast, it seemed as though he hadn’t moved, though the divided body of the tier 2 expert in front of them proved that he had actually attacked.
They had gotten into the inner walls of the mansion, where the elites or so stayed.
It was a place where only those chosen by the Holon family could have access to, as cultivation resources were a bit more abundant than the outer walls.
Glancing at the figure of Luke, who currently had a map stretched out in front of him, while he led the duo deeper into the mansion.
Augustus couldn’t help but think about the person he was here to save.
He had put her in mortal danger by just being her lover. Honestly he had wanted to break their relationship up when things began to turn sour in his family, since, all of his younger brothers had sided with his elder sister.
Which meant that something was brewing.
Taking another right, according to Luke’s direction. Augustus found that there were multiple tier 2 expert and tier 1 humans in the hall. Honestly he wished he had brought the mysterious guy who had the capability of immense speed.
If his family got their hands on someone like him, even without his rare elemental affinity, he would grow up to be incredibly strong, and he had seen a lot of them.
One was his old tutor, just at the bottom of tier 3, but most middle staged respected him because of his strength. But eventually he was killed during a mission.
Heaving a sigh at the sad memory, Augustus cast a spell. A magic circle expanded right in front of him, as multiple jets of flames shot out, devouring all that was in their path, but he wasn’t done.
Another magic circle expanded above him, and blades of air materlized, and shot out randomly, but also managed to finish off the people that had survived the jets of flames.
Surprisingly, Augustus was also a double affinity user, though his weren’t rare. This was one of the reasons his sister hated him.
Arriving inside a hallway, which was the same as the one the three peak stage tier 2’s used.
Sighting that their goal wasn’t far, Luke jumped in front of Augustus, as he slammed the floor with his giant sword, while also a casting a spell.
A magic circle flickered on his sword. Immediately it made contact with the floor, multiple spikes made from earth shot out, impaling the scrambling experts.
Though amidst the chaos, an area remained unaffected by the spell, as three aura’s spread out, followed by the figures of the three formerly mentioned peak stage experts.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, young master Augustus,” the oldest of the trio said, while he locked gaze with Augustus.
