Ultimate Master in the City
Chapter 507: I Can Still Fight
They hadn’t even gone a kilometer before countless white-robed figures burst out of the woods. They pointed their weapons at Rhea and her group, their eyes cold as one of them said:
“You dare cause trouble here, on the hallowed ground of the Adjudicators? You’re courting death!”
Rhea sneered. “Hallowed ground of the Adjudicators? What a load of crap!”
With that, she led her people forward, ready to charge. But just then, a cold voice rang out from behind the white-robed figures:
“Insolent!”
As the word was spoken, an old man in a yellow robe stepped out from the crowd.
Upon seeing the yellow-robed elder, the surrounding white-robed people all bowed hastily and said with reverence:
“We greet you, Lord Earth Judge!”
“An Earth Judge! It’s an Earth Judge!” Qiao Dongliang cried out from the back, his face turning deathly pale.
‘An Earth Judge… even the weakest among them is a Dao Venerable Tier One master!’
She looked worriedly toward Rhea.
The yellow-robed elder was also staring coldly at Rhea. He spoke with a commanding air:
“You of the Beast Race… do you also wish to defy the will of Heaven and challenge the authority of the Adjudicators?”
Rhea sneered. “Defy the will of Heaven? You think you people can represent Heaven? You’re not worthy!
You see something you like and you try to steal it. How does that make you any different from common bandits? And you have the gall to stand there and pontificate? Have you no shame?”
The yellow-robed elder’s face darkened. “To dare disrespect the Adjudicators… you must be tired of living!”
Rhea raised the beast bone in her hand and said coldly, “If you want a fight, let’s fight. Cut the damn chatter!”
With that, she charged straight at him, swinging the beast bone ferociously down toward the yellow-robed elder’s head.
The beast bone whistled through the air, reaching the elder’s head in an instant.
The elder snorted, violently raising his iron staff to meet the blow.
With a deafening CRACK, the two were forced apart, only to slam into each other again a moment later.
A series of violent collisions rang out like firecrackers as the two exchanged blows, locked in a furious battle.
Nearby trees were snapped in two, crashing to the ground and sending clouds of dust into the air.
A few minutes later, a figure flew out from the fray, crashing to the ground like a sack of rags. After a brief spasm, it lay motionless.
When the others got a clear look, they saw it was the yellow-robed elder.
The next moment, a girl emerged from the dust cloud. She was covered in blood, but her face burned with the will to fight.
It was Rhea.
Rhea looked at the yellow-robed elder’s corpse on the ground and said contemptuously, “An Earth Judge… not so impressive after all.”
From the back, Ye Lingtian couldn’t stop nodding. “My granddaughter-in-law is truly incredible!”
But his words had barely faded when a yellow shadow suddenly appeared behind Rhea and slammed a palm into her back.
Rhea groaned and flew backward like a kite with a snapped string. If Feng Qingwu hadn’t been there to catch her, she would have crashed hard into the ground.
Then, a contemptuous voice echoed from behind them. “Someone like you thought you could act so brazenly before an Earth Judge? You are not worthy!”
Everyone looked up to see a short, thin, yellow-robed elder standing behind them, staring coldly at Rhea.
Seeing blood trickle from the corner of Rhea’s lips and her face turn pale as a sheet, Ye Feng’s expression became dangerously cold.
He turned slowly toward the yellow-robed elder, preparing to strike. But just then, Behemoth let out a guttural roar from the back and charged, bringing his massive Wolf Fang club down directly on the elder’s head.
With a sickening CRUNCH, the yellow-robed elder’s head was instantly smashed to a pulp.
Staring at the elder’s crumpled corpse, Behemoth said coldly, “You dare lay a hand on my daughter? You were courting death.”
Another Earth Judge, dead.
Ye Lingtian let out a long sigh of relief from the back. “Seems these Earth Judges aren’t so tough to handle after all!”
The words had just left his mouth when the sound of rending air echoed behind them. In the blink of an eye, six yellow-robed elders stood before Behemoth. One of them stared at him and spoke in a cold voice:
“You dare kill an Adjudicator? Are you truly determined to oppose us?”
Behemoth raised his Wolf Fang club and roared, “If you want to fucking fight, then let’s fight! Stop wasting my time with your bullshit!”
A yellow-robed elder with a black mole on his face glared at Behemoth and said icily,
“Do you really think that being a Dao Venerable Tier Three gives you the right to be arrogant here? Let me tell you something: you’re not worthy! Since your Beast Race is so eager to die, then we, the Adjudicators, will grant your wish today!”
With that, he gave a grand wave of his hand and ordered imperiously, “Get him! Cripple this animal!”
Then, he led the other five elders in a charge toward Behemoth.
Behemoth, showing no signs of weakness, swung his great club and met them head-on.
With a deafening BOOM, Behemoth and the six elders were all knocked backward.
Behemoth let out a great laugh. “Exhilarating! Again!”
He then charged forward once more, crashing violently into the six elders.
A series of world-shaking explosions erupted. The ground cracked and split as sand and stone were flung into the air, and a thick cloud of dust obscured the combatants from view.
The next moment, a string of piercing screams cut through the air as six figures were flung from the cloud. They hit the ground like broken dolls, twitched for a moment, and then moved no more.
A moment later, a towering figure emerged from the dust cloud. It was Behemoth!
Behemoth was covered in wounds, some so deep you could see the bone beneath. Blood streamed down his face, making him look like an Asura clawing its way out of hell.
“Father!” Rhea screamed, rushing to Behemoth’s side. Seeing his body covered in wounds, her heart ached, and her eyes reddened as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Behemoth let out a booming laugh. “Don’t you worry, child. A few flesh wounds like this are nothing to me. I can still fight…”
But as soon as he spoke, the situation took another sudden turn!
