Transmigrated Villianess: I am the mistress to three Beasts Lords
Chapter 77: WHAT IS WRONG WITH CAELAN?
VIVIAN
The next morning, Vivian arrived at the Ignora military station early.
She adjusted her cap and looked around. She was in her Recruit uniform.
Several recruits were already getting ready.
Then she spotted two familiar faces. The two males from the forest training.
The one who could put his opponent into an illusion.
And the other who possessed a terrifying mind-control ability.
The moment Vivian saw them, her body instinctively turned around.
Nope! I CANT do this today.
She started walking away. Then took to her heels.
"Why are you running away? I won’t eat you. I don’t eat female beasts"
Vivian froze. The illusion user was already behind her. He was so fast to catch up with her..he must have a speed ability she thought.
The other male walked toward her from the opposite side.
Vivian’s face paled. She still remembered their first meeting.
They had messed with her mind and made her smash her own head against a tree.
Those two were terrifying.
"I wasn’t running," Vivian lied.
The mind-control user reached for her hand.
Vivian immediately pulled away. "Stay away from me!"
The Mind control user said. "I want you in our team.
She said, "What team?" she pointed at him. "Get the fuck away from me!! I don’t want to repeat myself!."
"Join our team. We have a lot...."
She said, "Get away from me!!"
He raised an eyebrow. "You should be happy we approached you.."
Vivian stepped backward. "Happy about what?"
"We wanted someone like you." The illusion user smiled. "Someone with a bad reputation for seducing males.."
Vivian stared at them. "You..."
Before she could finish, an arm suddenly wrapped around her shoulders.
He pressed his cheek pressed against hers.
"She is already in our team." Herbert grinned. "And now we’re completely four."
Vivian relaxed immediately. "Herbert!" she shaked him off and turned around.
Serial was walking toward them. Ariel was beside him.
Vivian’s face brightened. "Serial!"
She hurried over and hugged him. Serial gently patted her back. "Are you okay?"
Vivian nodded. "Yes."
Behind them, the two strange males walked away.
But the mind-control user suddenly turned his head. His eyes met Vivian’s.
He winked. Vivian’s smile disappeared.
I don’t like him. What does he mean?
Ariel stepped forward. "Hello, Vivian."
Vivian looked at her. Ariel smiled beautifully. "I’ve joined your team. I’m a healer."
Vivian smiled. "Welcome."
Ariel nodded. Then she leaned toward Herbert and whispered, "What is wrong with those two?"
Herbert glanced at Vivian and Serial. "They’re lovers."
Ariel’s eyes widened. "What?!"
Her voice was so loud that Herbert jumped.
"Why?"
Herbert stared at her.
Why is she so surprised?
Meanwhile, Vivian was still hugging Serial. When she raised her head...Her eyes met Caelan’s.
He stood some distance away. His icy blue eyes were fixed directly on her.
Vivian’s heart skipped.
What is wrong with this Big Antlers?
She immediately looked away.
I already told him our relationship was over. He accepted it, didn’t he? Why is he still staring like I stole his kid?
Maybe he wasn’t looking at me. I am just over thinking. He was definitely looking at someone behind me.
Vivian slowly glanced again. Caelan suddenly turned around and walked away.
Vivian released a quiet breath.
Thank goodness.
She touched her chest.
It’s just my imagination.
She watched him disappear into the crowd.
He isn’t thinking about me anymore.
Then she frowned.
For fuck’s sake.
Why is he even here in Ignora?
Of all the places she could have come to, she had to meet him again.
Bad luck!!
Vivian shook her head.
I’ll just avoid wherever he is.
She made a mental note.
If Caelan goes left, I go right.
If he goes right, I go left.
If he’s standing somewhere near me, I’ll find another planet.
Serial finally released her. Vivian smiled at him. Then he asked casually, "Do you know him?"
Vivian blinked.
"Who?"
"That commander."
She pretended not to understand. "No. Why?"
"You’ve been staring at him."
Serial’s expression became slightly concerned. "And you looked scared."
Vivian forced a smile.
Why wouldn’t I be scared of him?
I lied that I was pregnant.
Then I lied I lost the baby.
If he ever finds out the truth, that will be a ticking bomb.
Caelan might look calm now, but Vivian knew what the original Vivian had experienced.
He had locked her away in his private dungeon for weeks.
Nobody had even known where she was.
He isn’t as harmless as he looks.
Vivian swallowed.
Seeing him alone makes me nervous. What if he makes me pay for the slap?
"Vivian."
Serial’s voice brought her back. "Are you still here?"
Vivian blinked. "Oh. Yes."
She smiled. "How did you know I was staring at him?"
"I have good senses."
Vivian laughed softly. Then she reached up and touched Serial’s white eyebrows.
His long lashes fluttered. "You’re very beautiful."
She smiled. She had to admit, seeing males without antlers made her heart happy.
Then she remembered something. "Have you seen your allocated house?"
Serial nodded. "It’s livable."
Vivian sighed. "Mine is terrible."
She looked at him. "You live alone?"
"Yes."
Vivian waited. Serial said nothing else.
She blinked.
Isn’t he going to invite me to stay with him?
She looked at him again.
Maybe he has some secret he doesn’t want me to know.
Then she remembered her own house. A single room with a toilet attached.
Actually... we couldn’t live together there either.
Before Vivian could say anything else, an instructor stepped forward.
"Everyone, listen!"
The recruits gathered around.
"We received information that several infected Orcs have escaped into the forest."
The instructor’s expression was serious. "Our mission is to locate them and put them in quarantine."
The students became tense.
"The forest is dangerous. Stay with your team. Do not wander off alone."
Ariel quietly moved closer to Vivian. Then she whispered, "What exactly is your relationship with Serial?"
Vivian answered casually. "He’s about to become my spouse."
Ariel stopped walking. "Why?"
Vivian looked at her and scratched her bead. "Because I like his looks."
Ariel asked. "You don’t know why I joined this team?"
Vivian shook her head. "I don’t know."
Ariel turned around and walked away.
Vivian blinked. "Ariel?"
No response. She walked away and her step fastened. "Ariel!"
Still nothing.Vivian frowned.
What’s wrong with her?
Soon, the recruits were given safety jackets. Everyone wore the same protective equipment.
Vivian looked at Ariel. Then at Herbert. "What is wrong with Ariel?"
Herbert looked at her. "You really don’t know?"
Vivian nodded. "No."
Herbert sighed. "Don’t worry."
He smiled.
"I have one more person who can make us four."
Before Vivian could ask who...Someone suddenly grabbed her arm.
She was pulled backward. "Who the hell...."
Vivian turned. Her expression immediately changed. "Oh..."
She stood straight. "Sir."
Instructor Vincent stared down at her. "Why are you here?"
Vivian blinked. "What? Where should I be?"
He shook his head. "Have you forgotten your mission?"
Vivian’s eyes widened. "My mission? What miss..."
Then it suddenly hit her.
Sentinel Vega.
Vivian’s face went blank.
Oh. That mission? Is it important?
Vincent’s expression darkened. "Yes."
He pointed away from the team. "Why are you not going there?"
Vivian looked toward her team. "But we have a team mission now."
Vincent didn’t even hesitate. "Leave."
Vivian stared at him.
"Now!" His voice became firm. "You have no business here."
Vivian’s mouth fell open.
Wait...
Serial pulled her back. "Vivian is a Soldier not a caregiver!."
