VIVIAN

Vivian stared at the man behind the counter.

She was completely confused.

Why was he sending her away?

She hadn’t even asked him to repair anything yet.

"What is wrong with you?" she asked.

The man’s expression remained cold. "Like I said. I don’t repair robots for the military."

Vivian opened her mouth to argue.

But before she could say anything, Beeny suddenly emerged from her consciousness.

A green light flashed beside Vivian.

The little girl disappeared. In her place stood a tall woman.

Her long green hair fell over her shoulders like flowing silk, and her emerald-green eyes shone with an ancient, intimidating light.

Vivian froze. Her mouth dropped open.

She had never seen Beeny in this form before.

All this time, Beeny had always appeared as a little girl.

Vivian had never even imagined that the Queen Bee could look like this. But she had the same face as the little girl.

The robot repairer’s expression changed instantly.

His eyes widened.

Then....Thud! He dropped to his knees.

He bowed deeply. "My Queen."

Vivian stared at him.

What the hell?

Beeny calmly looked at the man.

"Pretty Sister."

Vivian blinked. "Yes?"

"Leave us."

Vivian looked between the two of them.

"Why?"

"I need to speak with him."

Vivian hesitated. There was clearly something Beeny didn’t want her to hear.

But after seeing the man’s reaction, Vivian decided not to argue.

"Fine."

She walked outside. The door closed behind her.

Vivian stood there with her arms crossed. "What could she possibly want to say that she doesn’t want me to hear?"

She looked at the door suspiciously.

"Are they discussing my secrets?"

She waited.

A few minutes later, the door opened.

An Orc stepped outside.

He looked at Vivian. "You can come in."

Vivian entered.

Beeny was sitting comfortably on a chair with her legs crossed.

Vivian stared at her.

She looks completely different.

Beeny’s green hair shimmered under the lights.

She looked less like a mischievous little girl and more like an ancient Queen who had ruled something terrifying for centuries.

Vivian sat down.

The robot repairer glanced at her. His tone is serious. "I still don’t see anything special about you."

Vivian’s eyebrow twitched. "What?"

The man’s eyes moved toward Beeny. "You."

He pointed at Vivian. "I don’t understand what this female has that made a Queen Bee who can never become a slave accept her as a Master."

Vivian’s expression darkened. She stood. "Excuse me? Are you talking...."

The man immediately raised his hands. "But I will respect her decision."

He bowed slightly toward Beeny. "She is the Queen Bee."

Beeny slowly turned her head toward him. "Apologize."

The man’s face stiffened. "My Queen...."

"Apologize."

He immediately stood. He bowed deeply toward Vivian. "I am sorry for my words."

He paused. "But I still cannot accept you as the Queen’s Master."

Vivian stared at him and clenched her fist. She Doesnt want to make an issue with him since Robot 99’s life is depending on him. Then she sighed. "It’s fine."

She sat back down. "Let’s just get to the main reason we’re here."

She pulled Robot 99 out of her storage ring.

The damaged robot landed carefully on the table.

The repairer’s expression immediately changed.

He picked it up and began examining every part.

He scanned its broken arm. Then its head. Then its internal core.

"Hmmm..."

His fingers moved across its metal frame.

"This is a good product."

Vivian’s eyes brightened. "Can you fix it?"

The man continued examining it. "You must have noticed that it can do almost anything."

Vivian nodded, she said in a sad tone. "It has helped me many times."

"The problem is..." He turned the robot around. "This is an old model, like 60 decades ago.."

Vivian froze. "Old?"

She looked at Robot 99. That didn’t make sense. She remembered that when the original Vivian received this robot, it had been packaged and delivered to her.

At the time, she had assumed the robot company was trying to make amends because she had destroyed so many of their robots.

So they gave OG Vivian an old model?

Vivian frowned. "Who manufactured it?"

The repairman became quiet. "The manufacturer is no longer in this world."

Vivian’s eyes widened. "They died?"

"No."

He shook his head. "They simply stopped existing."

Vivian stared at him. "What does that mean?"

"No one knows."

He placed Robot 99 back on the table. "The company disappeared."

Vivian felt a strange chill. Then the repairman suddenly said: "This robot also has a surveillance camera and a controller. It’s been controlled manually."

Vivian blinked. "A camera? And controlled? Why? Who has such free time to monitor me?"

"It records your everyday life."

Vivian’s eyes widened. "What?!"

She immediately grabbed Robot 99. "It was spying on me? How? Why?"

Her voice rose. "Who had the guts to spy on me with this thing?"

She kept her head down.. "Though it was nice to me..."

The repairman quickly raised his hand. "Don’t misunderstand."

He shook his head. "I don’t believe they meant you harm."

Vivian frowned. "Then why record me?"

"This robot was designed to protect its Master."

Vivian slowly relaxed. "Protect..."

She looked at Robot 99. She remembered all the times it had helped her.

The restroom attack and cutting of cameras around.

The way it had fought until it was badly damaged.

She finally released the breath she had been holding. "At least it wasn’t the Astronova family spying on me."

She suddenly frowned. "Or maybe one of Vivian’s lovers or enemies.."

Her expression became strange.

"There was that mysterious male she met during those three days when OG Vivian took control of this body..."

She shook her head. "I don’t even know who he was."

Vivian rubbed her forehead. "This is getting frustrating."

The robot repairer shook his head. "I can’t do anything about the camera."

Vivian looked at him. "But I know someone who can."

Her eyes brightened.

"Who?"

"A Fox."

Vivian froze.

"A Fox?"

"Yes."

"He understands this technology?"

"He’s one of the few people who might be able to fix it."

The repairman sighed. "Unfortunately, I’ve lost contact with him."

Vivian’s shoulders dropped.

"But if I hear from him, I’ll let you know."

Vivian nodded.. "Thank you."

The repairman suddenly became serious. "And don’t tell the military about me."

Vivian frowned.

"Why?"

"Because I don’t trust them."

He looked toward the door. "And be careful."

His eyes settled on Vivian. "Females like you disappear in Ignora."

Vivian’s expression became cold..Before she could respond, Beeny spoke.

"Where is it?"

The repairman looked at her. Then he signaled toward an Orc standing nearby.

The Orc brought over a small box.

The repairer handed it to Beeny.

She opened it. Inside was a strange metallic device.

Beeny placed it against her ear.

The moment it activated...

Flash!

Her appearance changed. Two cat ears appeared on her head.

A long cat tail emerged behind her.

Vivian stared.

Beeny looked at herself. "Perfect."

The repairman nodded. "It will help you disguise yourself as a male Orc while staying around Vivian."

Vivian looked at Beeny. "You’re really going to pretend to be an Orc?"

Beeny grinned. "Why not?"

They turned to leave. But before they could reach the door...

Bang! Another Orc rushed into the room.

His expression was panicked. "Sir.."

The repairman immediately turned.."What happened?"

"The Fox..."

The Orc struggled to breathe. "He lost consciousness!"

The repairer’s expression changed. "Where?"

The Orc pointed outside. The repairman immediately followed him.

Vivian stepped outside too. A large Orc was carrying something in his arms.

Vivian stopped. Her eyes widened. It was a beautiful red Fox. Its fur was bright crimson, and its body looked incredibly delicate.

Vivian stared at it. For some reason, seeing the Fox made something inside her ache.

She sighed. "One day..."

She looked down at her hands. "I really want to take my Beast form."

She had never seen herself as a Fox. She didn’t even know what she looked like. "I want to know what I look like."

Beeny looked at her quietly. Then they began walking away.

After they had gone some distance, Vivian finally asked: "Why doesn’t that man want the military to know about him?"

Beeny’s expression became serious. "I saved his life at Soldiers’ Grave."

Vivian looked at her. "He was abandoned there by the Haxia Military."

Vivian’s steps slowed. "He was abandoned?"

Beeny nodded. "He was a famous Mecha Machine Maker."

She glanced back. "He was responsible for creating and repairing some very advanced military machines."

Vivian frowned. "What happened to him?"

"He reached an eighty-percent berserk rate."

Beeny’s voice became quieter. "So they abandoned him. With no reason for it."

Vivian clenched her fists. Beeny continued. "He survived."

She looked at Vivian. "But after what they did, he no longer trusts the Haxia Military."

Vivian’s hands tightened. Her mind immediately went to one person.

Isaac Lilian.

Her father. He had also been sent to Soldiers’ Grave.

He had also reached an extremely high berserk rate. He had also been abandoned by the Military and they never let her see him for the last time.

Vivian’s eyes darkened.."If the Haxia Military really abandoned my father the same way.....without any good reason."

She stopped walking. Her fists trembled. "I’ll find whoever does this to Soldiers who suffer for the peace of Haxia and make them pay."
