The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 2470 2470: Yang Yuanshan’s Intentions

When Yang Yuanshan said those words, it showed that he had already acknowledged their relationship.

Both Yang Qingyin and Luo Ziling understood this.

Therefore, Yang Qingyin blushed in front of Yang Yuanshan. However, she wasn’t bashful and said seriously, “He’s saved my life several times and treats me so well, of course I have to speak up for him.”

“You have a good eye!” Yang Yuanshan smiled, “Better than your father’s.”

“My father is obsessed with saving face, even if it means suffering.” Yang Qingyin retracted her smile a little, complaining, “Grandpa, why doesn’t he listen to you?”

“He’s grown now, naturally he has his own ideas, just like you do.” Yang Yuanshan sighed and changed the topic, asking Luo Ziling to explain the general situation.

Luo Ziling didn’t refuse; he cheerfully shared some things, including his thoughts and the plan to deal with the Chen Family, without holding anything back from Yang Yuanshan. After listening, Yang Yuanshan appeared deep in thought. After a moment, he commented with a slight sigh, “If these are all your own ideas, your thinking is even more far-sighted than Qingyin’s father’s.”

“These are my own thoughts,” Luo Ziling said with a bit of shyness, “On the way back, while everyone else was sleeping, I slept very little and kept thinking about these issues.”

Yang Qingyin gave Luo Ziling a sidelong glance, clearly displeased with his blatant lie.

She remembered that Luo Ziling slept soundly during the journey.

After waking up, he flirted and joked with those women, savoring every moment. Now he was telling Yang Yuanshan that he had been pondering these issues the whole time. However, considering that Luo Ziling’s words were unexpectedly well-thought-out, she decided not to ridicule him directly.

She would deal with it later.

“Remarkable indeed!” Yang Yuanshan chuckled before asking, “What do your grandfather and mother think about all this?”

“I haven’t met my grandfather yet.” Luo Ziling smiled sheepishly, “My mother agrees with my ideas, but she says that the final outcome is not for us to decide.”

Without waiting for Yang Yuanshan to respond, Luo Ziling quickly asked him, “I wonder what you think about it, Sir Yang?”

“The Chen Family’s actions have been too arrogant.” Yang Yuanshan’s smile faded as he said very seriously, “Despite so many of you going to the Northwest, they still dared to target you. Not only did they hire professional mercenaries, but they also colluded with foreign spies. They’ve crossed all boundaries. They have grossly violated the law and must be severely punished.”

After Yang Yuanshan’s stern remarks, Luo Ziling expected him to say something harsher next.

Unexpectedly, Yang Yuanshan’s tone shifted, “I believe our law enforcement agencies will impose the appropriate penalties based on the crimes they have committed.”

These words were as good as saying nothing, leaving Luo Ziling rather disappointed.

“An old fox!” he thought resentfully.

Frowning a little, Yang Qingyin asked Yang Yuanshan, “Grandpa, what do you think the final outcome will be?”

“The Chen Family must pay the appropriate price; some people, if not deceased, should still be severely dealt with.” Yang Yuanshan said with a cold smile, “I hope Chen Ruchang is sensible enough to give up the things he should.”

Yang Yuanshan’s words were quite straightforward, giving Luo Ziling a sense of relief.

At first, he thought this old man would continue skirting around the issue.

It seemed that Yang Yuanshan also harbored significant resentment towards Chen Ruchang.

Yang Qingyin was about to say something else, but Luo Ziling signaled her with his eyes to stay silent.

They didn’t linger much longer, as Luo Ziling excused himself by saying he had other matters to attend to and prepared to leave.

Before leaving, Luo Ziling told Yang Yuanshan that he would come back to visit with Yang Qingyin in a few days and would bring the new targeted medication he had prepared for Yang Yuanshan.

Yang Yuanshan thanked him and invited Luo Ziling to come over for dinner with Yang Qingyin when they had the time.

Yang Qingyin left with Luo Ziling too.

She told Yang Yuanshan that since school was about to start, she needed to go back and organize her things, and that she would return the next day to keep him company.

Yang Yuanshan didn’t say much more and let them go.

After leaving the old house, the two got into Xiaoli’s car.

In the car, Yang Qingyin asked Luo Ziling about the current situation.

“I have to meet with these grandpa-level figures, gauge their attitudes, and share my thoughts with them. As for the final outcome, that’s not something I can control. After all, it’s all a struggle over interests; no one intends to completely eliminate the Chen Family right now; everyone is just trying to extract as much benefit from them as possible.” Luo Ziling laughed as he spoke.

Yang Qingyin gently nodded, indicating that she understood what Luo Ziling was implying.

“In the evening, I’m going to my grandfather’s place for dinner with my mom.” Luo Ziling whispered when Yang Qingyin asked where he was headed, “I know you need to tidy up your place, so since there’s nothing urgent, I’ll go with you. I can give you a little massage too, as you don’t look too well.”

Yang Qingyin blushed immediately and shot Luo Ziling a glance but didn’t say anything.

Upon reaching Yang Qingyin’s place, the two did not clean up.

Even though Yang Qingyin hadn’t been staying there recently, Chen Qiaoyu occasionally came over to help clean up.

Before leaving for the Northwest, Yang Qingyin had instructed Chen Qiaoyu to come by and water the plants whenever she had time.

Yang Qingyin’s place had many plants, and if they weren’t watered in the summer heat, they could easily wither.

With someone helping with the cleaning, the room wasn’t dirty, and naturally didn’t need tidying up.

Xiaoli tactfully did not follow them in.

The two hadn’t been intimate for days, and like kindling ready to ignite, they naturally didn’t hold back when alone.

When Yang Qingyin showered, Luo Ziling joined her.

The bathroom suddenly became a scene of languorous warmth.

Everything was indescribable in words and couldn’t be put into words.

After helping Yang Qingyin wash, Luo Ziling carried her back to the bed, and they lay in each other’s arms.

“We were lucky not to lose our lives in the Northwest.” Yang Qingyin murmured as she nestled in Luo Ziling’s embrace, “I thought it would be a fun trip, but I didn’t expect so many scares.”

“Thankfully it was only at the beginning; the past month has been scare-free. Look, you’ve filled out!” Luo Ziling teased, squeezing Yang Qingyin’s chest, as well as her legs and arms, and joking, “The feel is getting better and better!”

Embarrassed and angry, Yang Qingyin pinched Luo Ziling and then said in frustration, “I’ve gained so much weight, I can’t even face people.”

“Then you need to exercise more, to lose weight.” Luo Ziling said seriously, “For example, in situations like earlier, you should move more, since I’m on the slim side and need less exercise.”

Yang Qingyin paused for a moment before she realized what he meant, then once again reacted with embarrassment and anger, employing her unique tricks.

Luo Ziling could only beg for mercy.
