The two spent an afternoon together, and finally, Luo Ziling left, exhausted.

Yang Qingyin used the excuse of not having enough sleep in the past few days to sleep for a few more hours after Luo Ziling left.

On the way to Ling Mingrui’s villa, Ling Ruonan asked Luo Ziling about his visits to Ling Jinhua and the Yang Family Old House today.

Luo Ziling did not hide anything and told Ling Ruonan about his visits to Ling Jinhua and Yang Yuanshan today.

“It looks like they didn’t intend to take Chen Yining’s life, opting to stop while things are still good!” Ling Ruonan shared her judgment after hearing this.

Ling Ruonan nodded lightly, asking nothing more.

Approaching Ling Mingrui’s villa, Ling Ruonan discussed the argument she had with Ling Zhengping last time with Luo Ziling.

She hadn’t mentioned it to anyone else, but she felt it necessary to bring it up with Luo Ziling.

“It seems your brother might really have gotten involved this time, but seeing the situation wasn’t favorable, he withdrew in time.” Luo Ziling said playfully, “Otherwise, he wouldn’t have reacted this way.”

Hearing Ling Mingrui praise Luo Ziling to his face, Ling Ruonan couldn’t help but show a proud expression.

Luo Ziling modestly replied with a couple of words, saying he was just overthinking.

Ling Mingrui chuckled again and inquired about Ling Ruonan’s impression of Chen Yihe and Chen Yiping.

“It seems like in the Chen Family, the younger ones are more capable.” Ling Ruonan said somewhat conservatively: “Having interacted with both, I find Chen Yihe a bit mediocre.”

“Then try to let Chen Yiping and Chen Yijing have a little conflict; that’ll make Chen Yihe anxious.
