Chapter 718 718: [718] How to kill a thunder giant.(2).
The wind crashed against his face, accompanied by the occasional bolt of lightning, but all it did was increase his power, Unless Kizmal took him seriously and fired some lightning at him personally… Alexander would not be damaged, not at all.
The successor of the storm supreme must not flinch at some lightning, and the wind? All it did was make him more renewed with energy.
[Festul!]
He called out to the little wolf, who materialized on his back, clinging to his clothes with the help of his sharp claws.
[I know!].
Alexander took a deep breath, and circulated his energy, it was not mana, but rather aura. He had already emptied his mana reserves while he was on Kazikato. Unlike Alan, his control of mana was not so superb as to make it completely docile. He could not focus his mana to a single point in his body, and thus had to resort to some drastic measures.\\
Aura rolled out of his body in waves, gray energy of incredible power covered him like a blanket as his body underwent a transformation. When he breathed out, gray lightning surged all around him as gray fur started to grow on his body.
Hair as strong as steel and filled with luster, The shape of his face changed slightly, his nose went outward, like a snout and small but sharp canines appeared, and the color of his eyes changed to a dull gray.
‘Not Enlightenment, not yet…’
Unfortunately, as much as he would like to go into the state of Enlightenment to achieve maximum battle prowess. He had to restrain himself, Enlightenment was a trump card greater than even [Raijin].
Alexander reached the earlobe with frightening speeds and sunk his twin swords deep into the flap of the skin, and struggled to stay there. It was not because of the sharp winds or the lightning, but because Kizmal was preoccupied with a rather nasty opponent.
Even though the giant was big, massive. Alexander could see Alan tearing into Kizmal’s face, his serpentine body evaded everything Kizmal threw at him with relative ease. Alan would coil and crawl all around Kizmal to attack, and was making sure the attention was all on him.
He himself was busy evading the drops of blue, scalding flame that was blood. Even when Alan was backed into a corner, he would simply teleport to a different location. When the great and mighty hands of Kizmal closed in on Alan to tear him apart, he would disappear and appear somewhere else, evading the iron grip with relative ease.
Alexander gasped in relief, He was thankful the giant had a bone to pick with dragons. He was certain he wouldn’t last even a single minute in Alan’s position, His skill set was not made for such an encounter.
Alexander climbed up as fast as he could as the battle between the giant and the dragon reached a new peak. Kazikato had finally joined in and gave Alan some time to breathe. Alexander knew he had to hurry. Alan had finally been given the time to focus on his new spell, what he called the [Supreme Meteor].
He knew it would be a frightening spell to witness the moment it was complete, and absolute disaster for him if it made contact with Kizmal’s face, its intended target. While he was certain, Kizmal would do something about it… Just the thought of it colliding with the face wile he was in such proximity sent shivers down his spine.
He wasn’t ready for the aftermath if Kizmal did something about it as well, he knew that time was of the essence and practically ran up the earlobe and made his way into the canal, moments before Supreme Meteor was completed and sent hurling towards the giant of storms.
He could feel the mana in the surroundings go crazy and feel the meteor splitting through the air due to his affinities, and knew an impact big enough to shake this giant was coming, and so he prepared his own move.
Stabbing both of his swords into the floor of the canal, Alexander gazed at the impenetrable darkness in front, leading to the inner ear as he chuckled.
Festul jumped in front of him and howled, the wolf was essential for [Raijin] after all. Alexander clasped his hands together and slowly opened them, circulating almost all of his energy.
A gray ball of lightning emerged, the technique known as [Raijin], Festul’s greatest accomplishment in a weaker, smaller form. Alexander could make it the size of a meteor, but abstained from such a move. He wanted to throw it as deep as he could, so a smaller form would suffice…
“…Kgh!”
But it was difficult, incredibly so, to compress a spell as large as Raijin while maintaining its power… He also was not in the best of places, the ferocious battle outside was making sure his balance was nonexistent even if he sunk his claws deep into the skin.
Alexander felt a mass of mana erupt from Kizmal, most likely a beam of eradicating light to combat the descending meteor, and he chuckled.
“I’m done…”
He breathed in relief as he got into the pose of a baseball pitcher, but instead of a baseball, he was holding a massive amount of destructive energy.
‘Let’s see if I can make sure that meteor hits the face of this bastard…’
He thought mischievously, as he lobbed the compressed [Raijin] into the inner ear. If he could somehow stop the beam of eradicating light with his attack, Supreme Meteor was sure to do a number on Kizmal.
‘Here’s to nothing.’
Alexander prayed in his mind as he grabbed Festul and his swords and made a run for it.
[Get out, quickly! The blood will melt you alive!]
[I know!]
Alexander ran as fast as he could, He knew he had almost little to no time until Raijin hit something hard and exploded.
He could survive the explosion, but the blood and Kizmal’s reaction?
He wasn’t so sure…
