In the pictures, Aunt Rong struck a variety of poses. She clearly wasn’t wearing anything, but she used her posture to strategically cover the essential parts, leaving everything to the imagination.

Li Yang’s blood ran hot just looking at them. How was he supposed to handle this?

"Aunt Rong, I’m coming over..." Li Yang typed frantically.

Aunt Rong replied almost instantly. "In your dreams. Let’s see how you manage to sleep tonight."

And with that, she went silent.

Li Yang wanted to cry but couldn’t shed a tear. He knew Aunt Rong was doing this on purpose and was utterly speechless.

Early the next morning, Aunt Rong hitched a ride back to the city on Lao Xu’s vegetable delivery truck.

As she left, Aunt Rong looked at Li Yang and giggled. ’That’s what you get for always teasing me, you little brat. Can’t handle it now, can you?’

Li Yang wore a miserable expression. He hadn’t been able to fall asleep until around two in the morning; he simply couldn’t quiet his mind.

’Aunt Rong, you just wait,’ he thought. ’One day, I’ll make you throw yourself into my arms, body and soul.’

Not long after Zhang Rong left, Gao Xin Xue arrived by car.

Li Yang breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Gao Xin Xue. He hurried forward to greet her. "Sister Gao, welcome!"

Gao Xin Xue opened the trunk. "Here, help me get these suitcases out."

Li Yang quickly went over and helped her pull out two large suitcases.

"By the way, I’ll be staying at your house for now, right?"

"That’s right. The construction here isn’t finished, so you’ll have to stay at my house for the time being," Li Yang said with a smile.

Gao Xin Xue said nothing, merely nodding.

To her, the accommodations weren’t important.

Back at his house, he helped Gao Xin Xue get her room set up.

Though the house was old, the room was still in decent shape.

Of course, one couldn’t expect luxury in an old farmhouse.

"Sister Gao, I’m afraid you’ll have to make do for now," Li Yang said apologetically. "Once the resort is built, I’ll set you up with a great room."

"This is perfectly fine!" Gao Xin Xue said with a smile. "In that case, I can start work today, can’t I?"

"Of course, of course!" Li Yang nodded. "Do whatever you think is best."

"Oh, I see quite a few people are fishing. Let’s go check it out."

Over at the fishing spot, Liu Jinsheng was sitting in his usual spot in front of the small clinic.

It had practically become his designated spot.

While the anglers fished, he had nothing much to do, so he just sat in front of the clinic, waiting for it to be time to head back.

When he saw Li Yang and Gao Xin Xue approaching, he quickly stood up. "Brother."

Gao Xin Xue found this odd. ’Li Yang must be at least a decade younger than this man, yet he calls him ’Brother’?’

"Let me make an introduction. This is Liu Jinsheng, he’s in charge of sales here. He’s the one who brings in all these customers. And this is Manager Gao, from our resort."

"A pleasure to meet you, Manager Gao!" Liu Jinsheng said quickly.

Gao Xin Xue nodded. "How many people came today?"

"A full van!" Liu Jinsheng answered.

Gao Xin Xue thought for a moment. "Is it normally like this?"

"Pretty much..." This time, Liu Jinsheng addressed Li Yang directly. "Brother, our potential customer pool is only so large. There are only so many people..."

Li Yang nodded and patted his shoulder. "You could always try to expand it."

Liu Jinsheng was at a loss for words. ’If I had that kind of skill, would I still be your gopher?’

"The target demographic is indeed a bit niche," Gao Xin Xue agreed with a nod. "That’s not surprising. The number of people who love fishing and also have the spare time and money to do it isn’t very large. Getting a stable crowd this size every day is already quite an accomplishment."

Liu Jinsheng nodded in agreement.

"Right, when will the Anglers’ Center be ready to open?" Gao Xin Xue asked.

"I’ll have to ask Brother Xu." Li Yang called him over.

"If it’s just the cafeteria, five days should be enough, max." Brother Xu knew they were in a rush, so he and his crew had been working overtime day and night. "But if you want the other facilities included, it’ll be another week on top of that."

"Then that settles it," Gao Xin Xue said with a smile. "Let’s start promoting. In a week, the cafeteria will be open. We can build our marketing around that, see if we can rebrand as a food destination."

A food destination?

Li Yang’s eyes lit up.

"The community of anglers is only so big," Gao Xin Xue said seriously. "You’ve already delved deep into their online forums, which means you’ve likely found most of the customers you’re going to get from that pool. So, our next move should be to focus on the food. The number of people who love good food is much, much larger than the number of people who love to fish. Besides, the local cuisine here is already a huge draw. You can use that to bring in a whole new crowd."

Li Yang furrowed his brow in thought. That approach could actually work.

"So what’s the specific plan?" Li Yang asked, his tone humble.

’Gao Xin Xue is a manager from a major hotel, after all. She must have some extraordinary insights.’

"If we’re focusing on food, then our target demographic will likely shift to younger people," Gao Xin Xue said with a slight smile. "Young people love to eat, and they’re less worried about gaining weight, so they’ll indulge. But eating alone isn’t enough. Besides food, young people need entertainment. And to be perfectly frank, there’s not much to do for fun around here right now."
