The scenery was nice, but nothing had been built yet. Other than the natural landscape, there really wasn’t much to do.

"I’m thinking of buying some jet skis or small boats..." Li Yang spoke up immediately. "That way, they’ll have something to do. And there’s the beach for barbecues."

Gao Xin Xue’s eyes lit up. "Those are all great ideas. Getting close to nature... they should love it."

First on his list were jet skis.

He arrived at a shop that sold such things and started browsing.

Unfortunately, the shop was rather small. There were only a few models on display; for the rest, you could only look at the brochures.

"Young man, looking to buy a boat?" the owner asked with a smile as he walked over.

Li Yang nodded, but after glancing at the prices, he felt his confidence waver.

They were easily seventy or eighty thousand yuan a piece, with some even costing over a hundred thousand.

’This is way beyond what I expected.’

"Sir, how many days would it take for these jet skis to be delivered?"

"If you order now, it’ll take three days at most," the owner replied.

Three days wasn’t too long.

But the price was just too high!

’I may have earned 3.5 million last time, but after the construction costs for Jianshan Villa, I only have 1.5 million left.’

’Buying a single jet ski would cost me over a hundred thousand. That’s just too expensive.’

He could buy a cheaper one, but Li Yang worried about the safety guarantee.

’Besides, I still have to spend money on raising the pheasants.’

Li Yang felt the pinch.

"Sir, can you give me a better price?" Li Yang asked after some thought.

The owner could tell the young man really wanted one but was probably short on cash. He smiled and said, "Young man, what kind of discount did you have in mind?"

Li Yang pointed to one of them. "How about eighty thousand?"

The owner was stunned. "Young man, that’s not how you haggle! This jet ski is one hundred and thirty thousand, and you just slashed fifty thousand off the price in one go. Who haggles like that?!"

Li Yang gave a dry laugh. He didn’t really trust these businessmen. ’Your profit margins are huge. It looks like a big cut, but you’re definitely still making money.’

"Sir, if you agree, I’ll buy two more."

The owner chuckled and shook his head. "It’s impossible at that price. Don’t even think about it."

Just then, a woman came in from outside, SLAMMED a lunch box down in front of the owner, and snapped, "Time to eat."

The owner gave a dry laugh. "Honey, what’s wrong...?"

"What do you think is wrong? All you do day in and day out is sell your stuff, but what about getting pregnant? You can’t even last two minutes! How are we supposed to get pregnant like this? Forget not getting pregnant—even if we did, I’m afraid the baby would be unhealthy!"

The owner’s face turned green. "What nonsense are you spouting? Go on, get out of here..."

Only then did the owner’s wife notice there was a customer. She couldn’t very well keep scolding her husband, so she reluctantly went to the back of the shop.

Li Yang glanced at the owner, and everything clicked into place.

"Sir, are you hoping for a son or a daughter?" Li Yang asked with a smile.

The owner was a bit embarrassed. "My friend, don’t listen to my wife’s nonsense. I’m perfectly capable."

Li Yang didn’t expose his lie, just smiled and said, "I’d say you’re about forty now, sir. Still want to have more kids?"

"Well, this would be our second. We were hoping for one more..." The owner scratched his head. "Maybe it’s middle age. Too much smoking and drinking. The... quality isn’t what it used to be, so it’s hard to conceive."

Li Yang held back a laugh. ’Stop making excuses. The truth is, you just can’t perform.’

"I can help you..." Li Yang said with a serious expression.

The owner’s expression changed, and he looked at Li Yang warily.

"Don’t get the wrong idea..." Li Yang looked utterly constipated. ’Damn, this guy’s imagination is running wild. How does he think I’m planning on ’helping’?’

"When I say I’ll help you, I don’t mean it like *that*. I’m a doctor. I can solve your physical problems." Li Yang couldn’t help but shudder. ’And his wife is pretty unattractive. I have zero interest in making a move.’

The owner gave a dry, awkward laugh. ’Where did my mind even go?’

"You’re a doctor? You can fix it?" The owner was tempted. "I’ve asked a lot of doctors, you know. They all said there was nothing they could do."

"In this world, there are two kinds of doctors!" Li Yang said with a perfectly straight face. "There’s Li Yang, and then there’s everyone else."

The owner was dumbfounded.

’Kid, you’ve got some nerve.’

"I’m guessing that when your wife said two minutes just now, she was overestimating." Li Yang calmly held up one finger. "You can last one minute at most. Maybe not even that."

The owner nearly coughed up blood, but Li Yang was the first person to see right through him at a single glance.

"You... you really know?"

"Of course I do," Li Yang said nonchalantly. "How about this? Let’s make a deal. I’ll restore your body, improve the quality of your... you-know-what, so your wife can have that second child. And in return, you give me a discount. How about it?"
