Chapter 126: 126 Battle Of The Giants

126 Battle Of The Giants

BOOM!

The body was hurled dozens of meters away, a huge hole opened in its chest by the previous blow. Kael didn’t even look at the corpse.

His gray eyes searched for someone, and then a powerful presence appeared. At the same time, Kael turned his head.

On the other side of the battlefield, an enormous Beastman resembling a bear walked among the soldiers.

The brute stood over two meters tall, with a thick neck and enormous arms.

A massive warhammer rested on his shoulder.

Gorvak.

The leader raised his eyes, and for several seconds, the two stared at each other, recognizing each other’s strength.

Gorvak was the first to speak.

"So you’re one of the undead who destroyed my logistics base, aren’t you?"

Kael simply continued looking at him.

"I am."

Gorvak tightened his grip on the hammer’s handle.

"I heard you killed Maeron, one of my companions whom I had appointed to take care of the logistics base."

Kael glanced at the two swords still strapped to the back of the former undead general.

"We did. And now he’s nothing more than an undead serving my master. You saw him, didn’t you?"

Gorvak’s expression changed, the smile disappearing from his face.

"Then I’ll destroy you and anyone who dares oppose my conquest."

Kael tilted his head slightly.

"Since you’re so determined, then come."

Gorvak didn’t need to hear it twice. His body erupted with brutal profound spiritual energy.

He moved rapidly, leaving a blur in his wake, and in the next instant, the hammer was already descending toward Kael.

The Revenant forcefully raised his arm.

CLANG!

The impact shattered the ground beneath Kael’s feet, which sank under the combined force of the two. A wave of spiritual energy swept through the area, sending dust, stones, and corpses flying in every direction.

Kael slid several meters backward.

Gorvak’s eyes widened, unable to believe that anyone could withstand his absurd strength with their bare hands.

"Impossible! You blocked it?"

Kael slowly raised his head.

"Of course."

Then his feet struck the ground with force before he launched himself forward with incredible speed and agility. Gorvak, in turn, barely had time to raise his hammer.

Kael’s fist struck his face with tremendous force, creating a gelatinous deformation in the bear’s face.

BOOM!

The enormous Beastman was hurled backward with such force that his body plowed through several soldiers, killing them instantly, before finally crashing into a rocky formation.

CRASH!

The rocks exploded. Gorvak emerged from the rubble almost immediately, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

He spat on the ground.

"Impressive."

Kael flexed his fingers.

"You’re not weak either. Even if someone were at the same level as you, their head would have been blown apart by my fists instantly if they weren’t you."

Gorvak roared violently. His bestial body charged forward again, and this time, he moved so fast that the nearby soldiers couldn’t even follow his movements.

The hammer cut through the space where Kael stood. The Revenant quickly tilted his body, causing the weapon to pass beside his face. Then, in that same fraction of a second, he grabbed the hammer’s handle.

Seeing that his hammer was being stolen, Gorvak pulled it back using his bestial strength.

Kael remained firm, without moving, and the two were locked in place for an instant until Gorvak smiled.

"Let’s see who has more strength."

The profound spiritual energy of both erupted simultaneously.

BOOOOOOM!

The ground beneath their feet cracked.

Kael pulled the hammer toward himself while Gorvak resisted, the muscles in the Beastman’s arms becoming completely tense.

Kael took a step forward, demonstrating that the Revenant’s physical strength was simply absurd.

Gorvak began to be dragged forward.

"Impossible..."

Kael pulled even harder, causing the hammer to slip from Gorvak’s hands.

The Revenant spun the weapon and threw it to the side. Taking advantage of his enemy’s brief confusion, he clenched his fist and delivered a violent blow with all his strength.

His strike hit Gorvak’s abdomen, and the dry sound of breaking bones echoed clearly, causing Gorvak to spit blood as his body was hurled backward.

But before he could fall, he disappeared again. Kael turned just as Gorvak’s fist struck his face.

BOOM!

Kael was thrown into the ground, creating an enormous crater. Afterward, Gorvak breathed heavily.

"Don’t think that just because you’re undead, you can ignore my strength."

The crater trembled as Kael rose from the rubble, dark blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

He ran his fingers over the blood and looked at his opponent, who possessed terrifying strength.

Then he raised his eyes toward Gorvak.

A smile appeared on his face.

"That hurt."

Gorvak clenched his fists just as Kael disappeared at high speed.

BOOM!

The first blow struck his chest.

BOOM!

The second struck his shoulder.

BOOM!

The third hit his face.

Gorvak tried to defend himself, but Kael was too fast.

The two tenth-level cultivators disappeared and reappeared several times, exchanging blows at speeds that ordinary soldiers couldn’t follow.

Each collision produced an explosion of spiritual energy that damaged the surrounding environment and killed numerous weaker cultivators.

Nearby mountains began to tremble, trees were ripped from the ground, and rocks were hurled into the distance.

The soldiers closest to them simply fled the area. Many died without even knowing what had hit them. This was no longer a battle in which anyone below their level could interfere.

It was a confrontation between two monstrous forces.

While Kael fought Gorvak, the other major battles began.

---

Khoran raised his enormous sword when a slender figure appeared before him.

Valeria.

Khoran attacked with his sword, which cut through the air. In response to the strike, Valeria transformed into bats at the last instant.

The blade passed through the cloud of blood. Khoran turned to see who it was, but Valeria had already appeared behind him. In the next instant, a blade of blood struck his back.

Khoran immediately swung his sword to defend himself, and it collided with the condensed blood.
