Chapter 125: 125 The Advance Of The Undead Legion

The Advance Of The Undead Legion

Morcant slowly raised his head.

"The dead will obey."

Then Andarna raised her hand.

"Me too!"

Yun Che looked at her.

The little girl tilted her head from side to side, as if trying to decide the best way to make her request.

Then her lips opened into a huge smile.

"Master..."

"Yes?"

"Can I set them all on fire?"

Yun Che remained silent.

Ariselle looked at little Andarna, who began bouncing up and down in the same spot.

"Can I? Can I? Can I?"

Yun Che slowly sighed.

"You can."

"Yay!"

She jumped.

"I’m going to set them all on fire!"

With that, the little figure disappeared, and in her place, an enormous shadow appeared over the mountain range.

Her bones rapidly grew, her wings opened, and blue flames exploded between her ribs.

In just a few seconds, Andarna had returned to her true form.

The gigantic Bone Dragon spread its wings and roared violently.

ROOOOOAR!

The sound crossed the mountains.

Rocks rolled down the slopes as the enemy soldiers raised their heads.

Some stood frozen while others took steps backward.

"It’s the dragon!"

"Run!"

"Don’t let that creature reach us!"

Andarna beat her enormous wings, and the air exploded around her body.

Her enormous body disappeared from where she had been standing and reappeared dozens of meters ahead at a speed that ordinary soldiers could not even follow.

Then she opened her mouth, and a torrent of blue fire was unleashed across the battlefield.

The flames struck the ground and advanced like an enormous wall that threatened to devour everything in its path. The enemies’ armor began turning red.

Before the dragon’s flames, spiritual shields cracked and the stones began to melt.

The soldiers tried to escape, but the fire had already consumed the space before them. Some were thrown to the ground by the sheer pressure of the flames, while others disappeared completely into the fire, their bodies charred.

Andarna let out a joyful roar.

"More!"

She beat her wings again. Her gigantic body rose into the air before diving down.

BOOM!

Her claws struck an enemy formation, and the force of the impact opened an enormous depression in the ground.

Dozens of soldiers were thrown in all directions as Andarna took flight again.

"More!"

While she destroyed one part of the battlefield, Eryon slowly raised his staff, and the energy of death spread across the ground.

A dark light traveled through the corpses killed by Andarna, and then the bones began to tremble.

Hundreds of skeletons advanced alongside Eryon, who moved his staff to the side.

The two thousand skeletons began dividing into different groups, advancing through the designated areas.

"Advance and bring death to the fools who dared to anger my master."

The creatures obeyed, and in response, the enemy soldiers attacked with swords and axes, striking the skeletons.

CLANG!

One skeleton lost an arm, another had its skull crushed, and a third was cut in half, but none of them showed fear.

The bones scattered across the ground began to move when Eryon raised two fingers, and the arms returned to the bodies.

The skulls fit back into place.

The two halves of a skeleton slowly crawled toward each other before joining together again, and the undead rose once more.

The soldiers retreated before such a bizarre sight.

"Why do they keep getting back up?"

"They’re undead!"

"Kill them!"

Eryon struck his staff against the ground.

"Continue advancing."

The legion simply obeyed and continued the massacre.

The skeletons surrounded entire groups of soldiers while others passed directly through the enemy lines.

The battle quickly began turning into a widespread massacre, and in another part of the battlefield, a red shadow crossed the field.

Valeria appeared among several soldiers.

Her long blonde hair followed the movement of her body, while her crimson eyes remained cold.

Gently, a blood blade appeared in her hand.

SHING!

Three soldiers were pierced and thrown backward, their bodies bleeding.

Before the others could react, Valeria’s body transformed into dozens of bats.

The bats passed through the enemy weapons and then disappeared into the smoke.

A moment later, Valeria appeared behind a group of enemy soldiers.

As her arm swept through the air, a blood blade cut through the space, causing more bodies to fall one after another, each of them split into several bloody pieces.

On the other side of the battlefield, Nefrava advanced slowly.

A rain of arrows came toward her, but before she could be struck by the archers, her body disintegrated into sand.

The arrows passed through her form without being able to hit a solid target.

The particles scattered across the ground, passed between the soldiers’ feet, and gathered together again several meters ahead.

Nefrava emerged once more.

Her bandages shot forward, one wrapping around the arm of a Lizardman while another reached the neck of a Beastman.

She pulled.

CRASH!

The two bodies collided in a bloody mess as Nefrava continued advancing without haste.

"Do not resist."

Her voice was low.

"It will only make the pain worse."

Morcant moved through the center of the battlefield.

His presence made the nearby soldiers feel a discomfort that was difficult to explain. It was as if something were touching their souls.

The fissure in the center of the Soul Devourer’s chest slowly began to open, and grotesque tentacles emerged from the crack like enormous tongues twisting and writhing.

A soldier stopped when his eyes lost their focus.

Morcant appeared before him.

"Do not be afraid."

The undead’s voice was almost a whisper of the devil. It invaded the soldiers’ minds and made them tremble with fear that rose from their souls.

"It won’t take long."

The soldier immediately collapsed as his soul was effortlessly extracted by a wet tentacle.

Morcant continued walking.

But then a different pressure emerged from another part of the battlefield.

An extremely powerful spiritual energy exploded.

The ground cracked as an enormous figure emerged from the smoke.

Kael.

The Revenant walked directly toward the center of the enemy army, his boots pressing into the ground with every step.

His muscular body was covered in battle marks, and fragments of his old armor swayed over his shoulders as he advanced.

A Beastman attempted to block the Revenant, but Kael simply grabbed his axe with his bare hands.

The soldier’s eyes widened in disbelief.

He was in the early stages of the Profound Nascence Realm.

Kael pulled.

The Beastman lost his balance and was dragged forward before the Revenant’s fist struck his chest.
