THE SUPREME NECROMANCER: SYSTEM FORCED DUAL CULTIVATION TO LEVEL UP
Chapter 124 The Queen’s Desire
Chapter 124: 124 The Queen’s Desire
125 The Queen’s Desire
The legion was waiting for the necromancer’s orders.
The entire mountain range seemed to have stopped to observe that new presence. Before Yun Che, thousands of undead stood motionless among corpses, blood, and pieces of stone scattered across the ground.
The wind slowly crossed the battlefield, carrying the smell of blood and smoke. In the distance, some trees were burned, parts of the mountains had collapsed during the previous clashes, and enormous marks of destruction cut across the earth in every direction.
Ariselle remained beside Yun Che, her green eyes slowly sweeping across that legion.
She had already seen Yun Che use necromancy to summon the Knights of the Apocalypse, but seeing corpses rise under his command? This was the first time.
Before her stood a true army formed from the enemies who had massacred her warriors.
The Queen’s eyes remained on the eight undead generals for several seconds.
Kareth held his long sword; Nyra kept the heavy spear in her hands; Veyra remained motionless; Drazek held his weapon; Velka carried her bow; Draven held his heavy spear; Seryn had her claws ready; and Maeron remained with his two swords strapped to his back.
They were all dead, and yet they all obeyed Yun Che.
Behind them, dozens of other Profound Nascence undead waited while the two thousand skeletons formed an even larger mass.
Ariselle slowly breathed in. A change appeared on her face. She turned toward Yun Che and slowly raised one hand, pointing toward that legion.
"So this is the extent of your necromantic power?"
Yun Che slightly turned his head.
The white mask concealed his expression, and behind it, his thoughts were even more difficult to understand. He simply observed his own undead before nodding.
"Yes."
His voice remained calm.
"But it is still not enough for the goals I promised you and your daughter."
Ariselle slightly narrowed her eyes. Yun Che continued looking at the battlefield.
"Even so, it will be enough to deal with the army that dared to attack your people."
He paused briefly.
"When this war ends, the foundation of my legion will be complete. Only then will I be satisfied enough to move freely throughout this secret realm."
Ariselle observed the masked man for several seconds. That war represented more than just revenge.
Every cultivator killed here could be turned into a new force, and every battle could strengthen his legion.
The Queen finally nodded.
"I understand."
Her voice was low as she continued looking at the legion. Then her eyes slowly shifted toward the enemy army spread throughout the mountain range.
There were thousands of soldiers, Beastmen and Lizardmen.
Cultivators who continued holding their weapons even after realizing that the situation had completely changed.
Some stared at their own undead generals with horror in their eyes, unable to properly process what was happening.
Ariselle slowly closed her fingers.
"I have a request for you."
Yun Che turned toward her.
"A request?"
The Queen took several seconds to respond.
Her eyes swept across the battlefield where her warriors had died. Elyra’s face appeared in her memory. Kaelia. Nysara. Mirevra. Thousands of other Medusas who would never have the opportunity to return home.
Ariselle’s expression became even colder.
"I want them all dead."
Yun Che did not answer immediately. He waited for Ariselle to continue looking at the enemies and finish her words.
"All of them."
Her voice became lower.
"I don’t want any survivors."
The wind passed between the two of them. The small serpents in Ariselle’s hair moved gently around her face, while her green eyes remained completely cold.
Yun Che observed the Queen for several seconds before nodding.
"All right."
His voice was calm.
"Your will is an order. I will completely eliminate everyone who dared to harm your people."
He took a step forward as the black energy of death began to circulate discreetly around his body.
Then Yun Che turned his head toward Kael, who was the leader of the Knights of the Apocalypse by tacit understanding.
"Kael."
The Revenant immediately raised his head.
"My master."
"I have a mission for you and your brothers. Completely eliminate the enemy army. There must not be a single survivor among them."
Kael’s fists slowly clenched.
"Listen carefully, Kael. Leave no survivors."
The Revenant’s gray eyes became even colder.
"Understood, my master."
Yun Che continued:
"But there is something I want to make clear."
Kael waited.
"I want the corpses of every enemy who is in the Profound Nascence Realm. Their bodies must remain intact."
The Revenant’s eyes gleamed.
"Those corpses will become part of my legion."
Kael looked at the weaker soldiers scattered across the battlefield. Yun Che then continued:
"As for those below the Profound Nascence Realm..."
He paused briefly.
"You are free to do whatever you want."
A smile slowly appeared on Kael’s face.
"Understood, my master."
He snapped his fingers.
"Then I will separate the strong from the weak."
Kael looked across the battlefield.
"The strong will be delivered to the master."
His smile widened slightly.
"And the others won’t have time to find out what happened."
Yun Che nodded.
But before he could give the next order, his gaze swept across the six Knights of the Apocalypse.
"One more thing."
Everyone became attentive.
Yun Che pointed toward the Medusas.
"I don’t want a single Medusa to be injured by our own legion."
Kael immediately lost his smile.
Yun Che continued:
"If even one of them is struck by you..."
His voice became colder.
"...you will be held responsible."
For several seconds, none of the six responded.
Kael then struck his closed fist against his chest.
"It won’t happen, my master."
He looked at the other Knights.
"I’ll make sure of it."
Valeria slowly ran her fingers through her blonde hair, adjusting a strand that had been displaced by the wind.
"We’ll be careful."
Nefrava moved one hand, causing some of the black bandages to slide along her arm.
"It would not be pleasant to injure those who are not our enemies."
Eryon rested both hands on his staff.
"We can divide the battlefield. Each force will have its own area of combat."
