Would the American Hunter Academy really arrange the students randomly? No. They had a supercomputer powerful enough to distribute the students as evenly and appropriately as possible.

Saying it that way was only to make the students feel like they had some degree of influence here. For example, the time they drew lots, which way they pressed, whether they were happy or sad…

This kind of deception did no harm, so the academy had continued doing it this way for years. Of course, quite a few students were capable enough to see through this little trick, but no one was bored enough to expose it.

Up in the sky, since she was sitting on the dragon's head far too high above the ground, Lailah had no idea what was happening down below.

But she didn't need to use a magical gadget for assistance either, because Nexus had directly created a live-streaming screen for her to watch.

"Eh, so I can choose whichever class I want?"

Lailah asked Nexus in confusion. Ever since coming to Earth, although she had never taken the initiative, it seemed like she had a few too many privileges.

When traveling with Bell, she could take 'shortcuts' and get things done quickly, and everything was given priority. When traveling with Nexus, the privileges everyone gave her seemed to be even greater.

If this keeps going, will I eventually fall so far that I'll be kicked out of heaven?

As the absurd thought flashed through her mind, Lailah immediately shook her head rapidly. She had been an angel since birth, so how could she fall? Lucifer and quite a few core members of hell had also once been angels…

No, that's not right! They were following the script, and they had always been like that. I don't have any script telling me to betray heaven.

Nexus frowned when he saw Lailah suddenly shaking her head rapidly like an idiot. He couldn't figure out what had gotten into her all of a sudden.

"Don't tell me you're afraid of heights and getting dizzy. We've been flying around for so long, so why are you only having a problem now?"

Aside from this extremely ridiculous reason, none of the other reasons made any sense either. Nexus's spiritual power was always protecting her everywhere she went, so lack of oxygen, high pressure, or low temperatures couldn't affect her.

But being afraid of heights was even more ridiculous. Lailah was an angel. She could fly around the material universe, so how could she possibly be afraid of heights?

"No. That's not it!"

This time, Lailah shook her head while waving both hands. She had been busy thinking about random things, and Nexus asking her another question caught her off guard.

"If you're not afraid of heights, then what is it? Don't just suddenly become stupid like this, or you'll really become useless."

Lailah's job as a tour guide was already a mess. If she really became an idiot, Nexus would 'express ship' her straight to heaven.

"Do you think I'm falling?"

Lailah had originally been a pure angel who hadn't been exposed to many corrupting things. She hadn't been on Earth for long, and almost all her time had been spent eating, playing, and enjoying herself.

Her ability to resist temptation seemed to be far too weak. Michael letting her use a body like a human's to come to Earth wasn't without its benefits for her.

Nexus stared at her blankly for a few seconds. If Lailah counted as falling, then what the hell was Nexus right now? A corrupted Heavenly Dao?

"Come a little closer so you can hear clearly."

Lailah didn't think much of it and brought her head closer. As a result, she didn't hear anything more and instead got flicked on the forehead by Nexus.

"Ah! What are you doing? Do you know that really hurts?"

She hugged her forehead and rolled around on the dragon's huge head. This time, Nexus flicked her hard enough that she almost burst into tears.

While holding her head, she looked toward Nexus as if asking for an explanation. Seeing those clear eyes with not a hint of anger after he had flicked her forehead for no reason, Nexus burst out laughing.

"Haha, can someone like you really be considered fallen? Could it be that the brain you're using is really this dumb?"

Even though Nexus scolded her while laughing, Lailah wasn't angry with him. She just listened and looked at him suspiciously.

"So I'm not falling?"

"Falling my ass. Ever since you came to Earth, you've just been eating more. Besides that, since there's barely anything that actually needs you to do, you've just gotten a little lazier. Do these trivial things count as falling?"

Lailah was quite easy to mistake for an idiot because her kindness was sometimes a little too much. It wasn't that she didn't understand anything; she just really didn't care about those little things.

"That's true. But I think I should still pay a little more attention and restrain myself."

Lailah nodded. This was only a slight sign of falling, but it was far too little to be considered falling. If the standards for judging whether an angel had fallen were this strict, quite a few angels would probably move from heaven to hell after using mortal incarnations.

"Restrain what? Eat whatever you want, do whatever you want. You haven't caused even one-tenth of the trouble I've caused, so how can that be called falling?"

There was no better example than Nexus here. Lailah only needed to compare herself with him, and she immediately knew she was one hundred percent an angel.

Lailah's worries weren't completely wrong, but Nexus had now 'tricked' her with his own logic. Calling it a trick was a little too much, but Nexus wasn't completely right either.

"So which class are we choosing in the end?"

Now that she no longer had anything weighing on her mind, Lailah continued her earlier question, but she still hadn't gotten an answer.

"Choose? Why do we have to choose? Didn't Zero say we could drop into whichever class we wanted?"

Nexus looked at Lailah like he was looking at an idiot. Could it be that she had spent so much time thinking about her own falling that she had really become stupid?

"I'm not stupid. But wouldn't constantly changing classes be too disrespectful to the homeroom teacher?"
