Chapter 994: Day Of the Meeting
Chapter 994: Day Of the Meeting
[59 Days before the Awakening]
It took some time, but after working tirelessly for hours, Klaus and his two disciples were able to finish the modifications and some major additions that promised to make the Android something to be feared.
Now that Klaus has awakened his soul bodies, Efad was able to awaken some part of his knowledge as a Formation Master, allowing him to know more about runes than before.
Naturally, even before the awakening, he was able to draw complex runes. But now, he was much more knowledgeable in the field of formations.
“The meeting is in four hours. Use this time to wrap everything up and be there before we begin.”
Anaki and Inaki nodded.
A few minutes later, Klaus left.
He truly wasn’t expecting his disciple to have built something this advanced. The Androids they had built were something that he knew would play a much bigger role in the upcoming battle.
The only reason he wasn’t aiming for Ascension stage combat Androids was because of the work that would have to go into building them.
Building up to the Chaos stage was plausible considering that just a 13-layer fusion core was all it took to power one. However, because of how complex the Ascension stage is, they would need 32 layers.
At the moment, Klaus doesn’t have time to spend on that for now. However, if he manages to get some five days free in his schedule, he will work on it.
Though it would require so much, he knew having at least ten would go a long way in the coming battle.
A few minutes later, Klaus was back in the Tower of Defiance.
Aside from Ben, nobody had arrived yet. Klaus immediately went to the fifth floor and freshened up.
Efad appeared the next second Klaus settled down.
“I have selected the ten thousand beasts we will be using for the first form of the ’Primordial Beast Claw Art.’ They are all at the Chaos stage.
Of course, the weakest beast under your command is a level 6 Chaos stage. However, all ten thousand are at the peak of the Chaos stage, so we will be getting a slight maximum output.
That said, you have 14,715 beasts under your command—14,508 of them are at the Chaos stage, 200 Ascension stage, and 7 Nether stage beasts.”
Klaus raised his brow, hearing the report. Efad, his 9th soul body, had taken it upon himself to handle the beast army. So far, he had made some progress on that front. However, Klaus seriously wasn’t expecting his beast army to be this powerful.
“This is a good thing.” Since the heavens didn’t know he had that many beasts inside the multidimensional cube, on the day of the awakening, he would surprise them.
“I believe with this much strength in reserve, we will be able to handle what is coming. That said, we need to focus again on the event where the Domain stage opponents might appear.
Though I would prefer them not to show up, we have no Domain stage warrior on our side to counter them. So what do you plan on doing in that regard?”
Klaus smiled faintly, “Who said we don’t have Domain stage warriors on our side?”
Efad raised his brow, looking like a curious child. “When did we get a Domain stage warrior on our side? Of course, I know the Doom Guards have some strength in them, and even the Vampire Queen and some of your wives.
Even the Panther guy has some strength in him to face a Domain stage opponent, but can they last long when facing them?
In case you are not aware, the difference between someone at the Peak of the Ascension stage and someone at the first level Domain stage is like heaven and earth. They would be outmatched, outclassed, and outperformed.
So please, if you are holding back something, better tell me so I can know how to prepare.”
Klaus stood up, allowing Efad to stand on his shoulder. They walked to the window, overlooking the vast sea.
“I have been preparing for two years, Efad. The past two years have been me working overtime for this moment, so for now, relax, I have things in order.
I expected myself to reach only the Ascendant stage before the awakening, but I even surpassed that. That is already a loss to the heavens, for at the Void stage, I am several times stronger.”
“But are you stronger than a Domain stage expert?”
Klaus laughed, “I am the Paragon of the Nine Stars. If I can’t handle small fries like that, then I might as well bend the knee to the heavens.
And don’t worry, even if I am not enough, there are others who can handle even Domain stage warriors. You will see what I am talking about 59 days from today.”
Efad looked at Klaus for a few seconds before nodding, “All nine of us will do all we can to help you. After all, we all want what is best for you.”
“I won’t disappoint then.”
Efad entered Klaus’s soul sea to continue his work. Just like how everyone’s soul body was working to empower their main bodies, Klaus’s nine soul bodies were working around the clock to raise Klaus’s strength to the max.
“If another miracle happens and I break through before the awakening, wouldn’t that be great?”
Klaus lay down on the bed and chose to push that fantasy to the back of his mind. The main thing now was to prepare with the strength he had for reaching the Chaos stage, which wasn’t something he saw himself reaching anytime soon.
Two hours later, people started arriving. The media hours came much earlier, so the live update was already broadcasting everywhere.
Klaus remained on the last floor of the tower, using his divine senses to see all those coming.
Ben made sure only the right people came to the meeting. After the announcement, he sent an exclusive invitation to those expected to attend.
“What is she even doing here?” Klaus let a small smile appear on his face when he saw his mom arrive with Pickle Berry and Lumia.
Although Pickle Berry’s mom is now in his harem, she prefers to spend her time with Klaus’s mom more than with her sisters.
They were the third to arrive. Klaus sent a message to Ben to send them over to the fifth floor. A few minutes later, they arrived at the fifth floor.
“Mom, what are you doing here?” Klaus asked, walking toward her.
“I am here for the meeting. Or are you insinuating I am not qualified to be here?” The look on her face made Klaus scratch the back of his head.
“I mean, you aren’t exactly known for having a presence on the battlefield, so—”
Klaus’s mom laughed, “I have every right to be here. After all, I am in charge of combat coordination at Oracle.”
Klaus was momentarily stunned hearing what his mom said. However, after a few moments of thinking, he recalled Lucil telling him they had recruited a genius who was helping them train powerful combat models in Oracle.
This caused Klaus to raise his brow even higher.
His mom laughed, looking at the stunned look on Klaus’s face, “No need for the expression, brat, I am more awesome than you think.”
