Chapter 516: Why Not?

He swung the fire sword around for a while before turning it into a bow. Then he drew the bow and fired it into the sky.

An arrow of fire had formed when he drew the bow. That arrow of fire flew into the sky when he fired the bow. The fire arrow flew high into the sky until it reached the limit of the sky.

When the fire arrow struck the limit of the sky, it exploded into a ball of fire. This ball of fire was so big and so bright that it became a second sun in the sky. So, for a brief moment, two suns appeared in the sky.

This second sun was bigger and brighter than the original sun. Unfortunately, it was rather short-lived.

The second sun went out a few seconds later. But even though its life was short, its absence was felt because the world became darker without it.

As for the first sun, it was panicking. It was panicking because it didn’t know what Loki was going to do with it.

The first sun is a phantom object. It is only a manifestation of the source of power and giver of life in this world. So the true body of the sun is the heart of the world.

Right now, the will of the world is very worried for its life. The longer it had to wait for its fate, the more torturous the wait became for it.

But Loki didn’t seem to be in a hurry to do whatever he came here to do. He seemed content just trying out his new Divine Metac.

After spending 18 years of his lifespan trying out the weapon, he nodded in satisfaction and said, “This one can be used as any weapon, while the Floating Furnace Metac is primarily used to forge weapons. It seems the mutation and the Impaler Metac made the Floating Furnace turn into a weapon.”

“I’m not sure what stat the original Floating Furnace improves, but I am sure that this one improves the Mind Stat. I am also sure Lady Red would be proud of it.”

The thought of Lady Red made him snicker and say, “I know I am proud of it. I will use it to replace the Lightning Engine Metac. Once I can get a replacement for the Bleed Metac, I will be able to reproduce my all-consuming attack.”

For now, the Fire Weapon Metac isn’t enough to create an attack that is persistent and won’t end until the enemy is dead. This is because this Fire Weapon Metac is only capable of creating short and violent attacks.

In a way, the Fire Weapon Metac is a condensation of the violence of fire. It can be described as an explosive pretending to be a weapon.

It can also be described as an explosion waiting to happen or an explosion that has already happened but was bottled and is now waiting to be released.

He had many ways to describe the Fire Weapon, but a slow-burning fire is not a way he would use to describe it. This has made the fire weapon a trusted source of explosive power. Unfortunately, this means that he can’t use it yet to create an attack that won’t stop until the target has been turned into ashes.

But he is very satisfied with the Fire Weapon Metac. He also doesn’t have any qualms about taking the mutated Floating Furnace from Lady Red and using it himself.

In fact, he believes that he made the best use of the mutated Floating Furnace because he believes that Lady Red would have failed to transform the mutated Life Ability into a Divine Metac.

He is sure about this because the Impaler Metac is too different from the mutated Floating Furnace Life Ability. In his opinion, the Impaler Metac is suited to Life Abilities of the Killing Pathway and maybe the Sword Pathway, but not the Forging Pathway.

So if Lady Red had managed to get the help of the Snake Queen to come here, killed the world king, and tried to use the Impaler Metac to upgrade her mutated Life Ability, she would have failed and led to the loss of either the mutated Floating Furnace or the Impaler Metac.

He was thinking about this when he put the two Divine Metacs away and strode into the third dimension. Then he flew towards the core of the world.

He was naked as usual, but the will of the world didn’t dare to underestimate him because of the lack of clothes. In fact, the whole world began to resist him with all of its power.

As the world pushed against him to reject him, he snorted and reactivated the Vengeful Bones Metac. Then he continued to push through the resistance.

The collision between his vast power and this world caused the space around him to quake. It also caused his figure to expand as if he had become a giant.

When brute force didn’t work, the world became distorted around him in an attempt to make him lose his way. But this still failed to stop him because he was too powerful.

The whole world was pushing him with a power that no mortal could withstand, but to him, it felt as if a child was pushing him away. He is a single man, but he has become so powerful that a whole world is a child to him.

Just like a child can’t overpower an adult man, this world couldn’t overpower him. He was able to break through all of the resistance and reach the core of the world.

When he entered the core of the world, he spotted the large crystal mountain made of multicolored gems. The sight of his prey made him grin slightly. Then he summoned his Cave Heaven in full and began the process of assimilating this world.

What he did made the will of the world scream at him, saying, “Nooooooooooo!”

In response, he sneered and said, “Why not?”
