Chapter 517: More Useful Heart.

The will of the world provided a lot of answers as to why he shouldn’t destroy the world and why whatever nefarious thing he was trying to do wasn’t allowed. But it didn’t mention once that Loki couldn’t do any of this because it was stronger than Loki.

The will of the world didn’t want to give up its freedom, but it didn’t have enough strength to protect its freedom. On the other hand, Loki had the strength to do what he wanted. In this case, Loki would get his way while the will of the world would have to suffer.

Loki was done nearly two hours later. The assimilation of this world took longer than the last one because this small world is bigger than the last one.

With another world under his control, he took his leave. He returned to the Blessed Heaven World, leaving an empty space where an entire world used to be.

On his way back, he spared some of his attention to drain the lifespan out of the new heart. When the heart was near dead and too weak to resist, he gave it to the first heart to eat.

He drained the second heart before handing it over to the first heart because the second heart is stronger than the first one. If he didn’t drain the second heart, it was likely that the first heart would be defeated in their struggle to absorb each other.

So by doing this, he ensured that the first heart would win the struggle. After absorbing the second heart, the first heart would grow stronger and be better able to serve him.

As for why he picked the first heart over the second one, it is all because the first heart still has a symbol of authority that he can borrow. Not only does the first heart have a Divine Metac, but the Divine Metac also belongs to Hammock, which he is not willing to lose yet.

So the reason why he picked the weaker heart, not the stronger one, is that the weaker heart is more useful to him. If the second heart was the one supporting Hammock, he would have also picked it in a heartbeat.

After he was done putting the affairs of his Cave Heaven in order, he activated the Power Identification Ability and used it on himself.

He didn’t think his mood could improve because of how happy he was. But his mood got better when he stumbled onto a small world on his way back.

He had passed this route twice already and hadn’t seen the trace of any world. But this time was different because he had become stronger.

The range of his supernatural perception is dependent on the size of his Cave Heaven. That range used to be 9,643 kilometers around him when he had a Cave Heaven with a size of 93 million square kilometers.

Now that his Cave Heaven has improved in size to 106 million square kilometers, the radius of his supernatural perception has increased to 10,295 kilometers around him.

The difference is only about 652 kilometers, but it is an improvement of 6.76%. That is a significant increase for anything. At the very least, it is significant enough to make him capable of spotting a small world that he hadn’t been able to spot before.

He helped the world guardians meet the requirement to become world kings by picking the world guardian he liked and crippling the rest. Then he allowed the world guardian that he liked to eat the crippled world guardians.

The resulting world king immediately turned on him as soon as it finished its ascension. It didn’t seem to care that Loki had helped it achieve something that it was unlikely to ever achieve.

This made Loki sigh and say, “This world has gone to shit when no one cares enough to be grateful to their benefactors.”

He said that as he smashed the world king’s head into the ground.

The world guardian that he picked was a snake. The choice was between a mountain ram, a great bull, a unicorn, and a viper.

He thought that the viper had more potential than the other herbivores, so he picked the snake and helped it become a world king. And just like a sneaky, despicable snake, the viper turned to bite the hand that helped it.

But Loki didn’t mind the betrayal. He especially liked the fact that he could grab the viper and smash it into the ground over and over again without breaking it. This was something he couldn’t do with the chameleon.

After smashing the viper into the ground to vent his anger, he deployed the Devouring Ability on the viper and used it to strip its body piece by painful piece.

What took Loki by surprise was that the viper didn’t do the same thing that the chameleon did. Instead of resisting to the bitter end, the viper gave up and stopped trying to heal itself after the first bout of flesh stripping.
