Chapter 325: An Illusion.

Since she thought he was a deceiver, she sneered and said, “This must be an illusion of some kind. You can’t deceive me so easily.”

So Loki shrugged before saying, “Suit yourself.”

When she heard what he said, she snorted as she said, “Thanks. I will.”

Then she looked around and said, “I will break your illusion, and I will kill you.”

Loki didn’t mind at all. He was content with waiting for her to come to the conclusion that this wasn’t an illusion.

So he folded his arms across his chest and said, “I’m right here when you accept your situation and are ready to talk.”

She ignored him and his words. But when her energy well cracked, her will began to waver.

She chuckled nervously as she said, “This is quite realistic. I almost can’t tell that this is all an illusion. Almost.”

“So you nearly got me. But nearly isn’t good enough. I am not so easily fooled.”

The truth is that everything looks real to her. She can’t actually spot the gaps in this illusion, as she claimed.

Aside from the trick with the red lightning, which was produced with the Branch Metacs of two pathways, her skin that is cracking inexplicably, and the fact that she is not feeling any pain even though she should, she can’t spot any other anomaly.

Even though she couldn’t spot any other anomaly, she is still confident that this is an illusion because those three things can’t be real. The only thing that made her nervous was that she couldn’t find a way to escape from this illusion.

Her confidence in being able to escape unscathed from this illusion was already low, but it took a big hit and fell beyond zero when her third eye became completely blind, and her Life Ability was completely shattered.

As if this wasn’t bad enough, her mental world also began to crack and deteriorate. This was conclusive proof that something was wrong and that she was dying.

She still believed that this was all a compelling illusion. But she also believes that this illusion is also killing her.

This made her say, “Hold on. We are allies. You shouldn’t kill me.”

“We should work together, not kill each other. If you kill me, you will be punished by the sect.”

But the fracturing of her mental world didn’t stop, so her voice became hysterical as she said, “What do you want? I’ll give you anything you want.”

Loki, with arms folded across his chest, smiled and said in reply, “I want a natural wonder.”

She shook her head and said, “I don’t have one.”

This made Loki’s face fall. Then he said to her in a low voice, “I know you have a token that can be used to get one from the sect.”

His words made her eyes flare in anger. She wanted to curse him and shout at him. But she didn’t do this because she knew that she was running out of time and couldn’t afford to.

So she gritted her teeth and said, “So you were targeting me right from the start. Fine. You win. Here you go.”

She removed the token from her mental world and said, “How do I give it to you?”

The smile had returned to Loki’s face, so he was smiling as he said, “Just throw it to me.”

She didn’t know how this illusion of his would receive the token in real life. But she didn’t question his request and decided to go along with the extortion since it was the only way to save her life.

As for this deceiver going back on his words, she didn’t consider it possible at all. This is because of the special requirement needed to cash the token in at the sect.

So she threw the token to him without question. Then she waited for him to stop killing her.

But the fracturing of her mental world didn’t stop. So she said in anger, “What else do you want?”

Loki rubbed his chin as he said in reply, “I don’t know, actually. Why don’t you tell me what else you can give me?”

His words quickly made her anger rise to her head. This time, she didn’t hold back as she roared, saying, “You bastard.”

Then she rushed over to him in anger to beat him up with her hands. She has to use her hands to fight now that she has lost her Core Metac, her Life Ability, and her Energy Well.

But before she could reach him, the exertion of her body caused her existence to explode into a shower of dust. The wind blew the dust into his face, so it was the dust that reached him, not her.

The dust didn’t stick to him because there was an energy shield on his second skin. But he still patted himself off the dust as he said, ’Her death was slow this time around. Was it because she didn’t copy something too powerful or because I only used two pathways for that attack?’

Then he flipped the multicolored coin in his hands and said, ’It is a pity that we will never know. But she will be remembered. Both her sacrifice and her contributions will not be forgotten.’

He had a grin on his face as he said this. This was because he was truly in a good mood.

His grin became wider, and his mood became better as he waited there and didn’t see the sky open. The absence of giant divine beings looking for him filled him with confidence about his next steps.

He smiled as he said, ’It seems they can’t sense anything troublesome about me. In that case, I might be able to go all out.’

’There is only one way to find out. After all, seeing is believing.’

As he said this, he activated the full power of the Shifting Armor to enhance his power. This caused thick cords of muscles to grow on his body, and his figure became bigger than he actually was.

Then he created an axe in each of his arms, a rail gun on each of his shoulders, and two more arms below his normal arms that ended in cannons.
