Chapter 284: Fallen World.

The intense flashes of light were of various colors, and they twisted the space around the crystal world into something resembling a whirlpool. This whirlpool was colorful because of the different shades of color of the energy discharge from the fight between the two parties.

As he watched, he noticed that the crystal world was losing. He couldn’t tell how because he couldn’t really see the fight.

All he saw were flashes of light like flash bangs in the sky. But he could tell that the crystal world was losing because it was falling closer to the ground and because the entity within the crystal world was unhappy about this development.

The constant screams of anger and unwillingness coming from the crystal world acted as reliable indicators of how well the fight was going for the crystal world.

Finally, he saw a white flash of light and heard a loud booming thunderclap as something in the crystal world shattered. Then he heard another scream, saying, “Nooooooooo!”

The sky immediately died in red, and gales of wind rose to form a stone that swept through the heavens.

The floating city became a boat in a storm. It was jostled left and right as if it would capsize.

But as bad as things were for the floating city, the situation of the crystal world was much worse. The crystal world appeared to have given up resistance, so the golden chains stopped appearing.

The surface of the crystal world had also become cracked. Some parts were even missing. Colorful gas leaked through these holes in its crystal shell and made it look like the world was bleeding.

The sight of all of that energy bleeding away like blood caused his stomach to rumble in hunger. Fenrir was also telling him to rush forward and dine to his heart’s content.

What the crystal world did next was to fall straight towards the white sandy desert ground of the heavens like a meteor. It left a streak of red like blood in the sky before smashing down and kicking up a dust storm.

By this time, Loki couldn’t see the crystal world anymore. This was because it had fallen too far away from the floating city. But he saw the large dust storm that the crash landing kicked off.

He waited for a while more, but he didn’t see anything more interesting. So he decided to give up and return to what he was doing.

On his way back from the window, he said, “So that’s how small worlds are captured. What a sight.”

Then he rubbed his belly and said, “There must be a lot of good things in that world, or Fenrir wouldn’t be hungry like that. So that divine being must have gained a lot of things in that fight. I wonder when I will be able to indulge my hunger with a feast of that size.”

Loki used the Power Identification Ability on all three of them, so he knew that the one with the jet black hair was a forger. Even without the Power Identification Ability, he could tell that she was a forger because there was a large hammer revolving around her like a moon around a planet.
