Clearly, the way both systems produce power was different. The power transmission for the Root of Life was direct, while it was complicated for the Domain Power System, making it difficult to fuse them directly.

He had to decide which step in the Domain Power System to remove and what to add to the Root of Life System to make it more compatible with the Domain Power System.

Plus, now that he was making the Domain Power Metac into a Core Metac and moving away from the Branch Metac, he had to redesign how the Domain Power System worked. He had to do that first before he could begin to fuse the two systems.

’I knew that this would be complicated, but it is more work than I expected. I haven’t even begun to fuse the two, yet I have to redesign the Domain Power System. As for whether the fusion will work after the redesign, that’s still in the air,’ he thought, sighing.

’But this is good too. At least, this way, I can try to make the Domain Power System better.’

’Even if I can’t eliminate some of its weaknesses or make it stronger, I should make it more difficult for the Geminis to copy,’ he thought with a fierce glint in his eyes. "As long as they can’t copy it or have to pay a higher price to copy it, I will be happy."

After encouraging himself and setting minor goals for the modification, he got back to work.

Now that the Domain Power System was going to be a Core Metac, it would fuse with the Energy Well. This meant the Domain Power System would be able to integrate more with mortals and modify their existence to better suit the transmission of power.

Being able to modify the mortals was good, but it also meant that he had to change how the Domain Power System worked from top to bottom. That is, he had to change the power source of the Domain Power System.

’I should use this opportunity to eliminate some of the steps in the Domain Power System and make the power transmission direct like the Root of Life System,’ he thought, scratching his chin.

’That way, the two systems will be more compatible for fusion. Plus, I will also be able to use one Metac instead of two for the Domain Power System and a Divine Artifact, making the system more difficult to pirate,’ he thought excitedly.

As he worked, he realized that there was another benefit to be gained if he succeeded in this project. He realized that reducing the number of Metacs used by the two systems would help speed up his acquisition of conversion efficiency, making him excited.

The Domain Power System alone used two Divine Metacs. It needed both the Hunting Form Metac and the Divine Power Metac, both of which were taking up space within his Core Metac.

Then the Root of Life System also needed a Metac, making a total of three. So if he could fuse the two systems, he stood to gain two more slots and could make the system more difficult to copy by the Geminis. After all. once everything was working inside his Supreme Metac, it would be more difficult to analyze and copy.

This made him more determined to succeed. He worked even harder, which distracted him from operating the Devouring Metacs for the conversion efficiency.

He failed to create a Divine Metac that could do the job of the Hunting Form and Divine Power System Metac, though. Especially since he also wanted to eliminate the use of a Divine Artifact in the transmission of power.

He wanted to be able to directly empower his disciples through his Supreme Metac, as he did with the Root of Life System, so that the modified Domain Power System would be able to easily fuse with the Root of Life System.

Unfortunately, a single Divine Metac was simply incapable of doing the job of creating power that the Hunting Form Metac did while distributing the power like the Domain Power Metac. The complexity involved was too much for a 2-D Metac to handle.

So he snorted as he thought, ’If a 2-D Metac won’t work, then a 3-D Metac will work.’

’I remember hearing about how the Enslavement Pathway could provide power to appointed apostles. If it works, I’ll find a way to stuff it into Fenrir, ’ he thought with determination.

When his Domain Power System was copied, the Gemini caretakers had provided many alternative Supreme Metacs that could share power from the Dao Lord to their disciples. The Essence of Apostles of the Enslavement Pathway was one of the alternatives given.

He wanted to use the Essence of Apostles as the new power source for the Domain Power System. It could be said that he was learning from the people who copied his work.

The only problem was that the Gemini caretakers had suggested that the younglings use a Celestial Artifact for their work, but he wanted to incorporate it directly into the Devouring Supreme Metac, so it would be very difficult.

He had never heard anyone use another Supreme Metac within a Supreme Metac. And even though Fenrir was technically capable of doing it, he had never done it before.

It was possible that Fenrir would explode if he tried to stuff another Supreme Metac into it. It was also possible that the godhead wouldn’t accept another Supreme Metac, which was most likely.

He felt that the latter was most likely since the inability for two Supreme Metacs to work together in one star was why he had to fuse all of the Supreme Metacs within the spark of power, which helped Astra to find him.

But there was so much to gain and learn from the attempt, so he refused to give up. Plus, if he succeeded in putting and using another Supreme Metac within the Devouring Supreme Metac, it would open up a whole avenue of methods to him, so there were more reasons other than the Domain Power System to do this.
