Chapter 1647 She Stole The Berserker

Chapter 1647 She Stole The Berserker

While Karl was chatting with Lotus, Rae was hard at work making outfits.

She had a brilliant idea, If she made a base layer for the Plum Blossom Pavillion outfit, it would be suitable for wearing in public, and then they might be able to get Dana to actually wear it.

Rae wasn’t dumb, she knew if it was just for the bedroom, it would only see five minutes of use at a time, and that was a waste for an outfit so lovely.

Dana just rolled her eyes as she heard the thoughts of the two of them plotting against her.

But if it was actually a pretty outfit, and not just an excuse for Karl to see her naked longer, she wouldn’t object. She just needed Rae to make something new and fancy, so that she also had new eye candy.

That sounded like a fair deal to Rae.

She had just the outfit in mind, and then they would only need a good reason to show off their new silks. Not a big reason, maybe they could wear them to go shopping around the Clan, where everyone would be able to see them.

That would be perfect.

But for now, they had new guests in the Tiny World, and the Berserker looked a bit overwhelmed.

That was an understatement. Mark thought that he had a good idea of the sort of wealth and power that Karl had. But now that he was here in this separate space, he realized that what he had in the Immortal world was only a small fraction of his true abundance.

What other member of their Clan could claim an abundance of adoring Obsession Demons? Lovely violet horns, long black claws. Karl truly had a wealth beyond monetary value.

The twins stared at their brother in concern. They knew of his weakness for thick thighed obsession Demons, but this was getting out of hand.

Some of them were old enough to be his grandmother.

The two Ninjas roughly pulled their brother out of his reverie.

“Mark, dinner is ready, stop ogling the ladies and come join them at the table.”

Ophelia laughed as she dragged the other Berserker forward.

“I know that pretty ladies are a tough temptation to resist. But food is important as well.

I hear that you managed to get everything that you went for this trip, and you’ll not only be able to pay off your debt to the Elder who has been teaching you, and get a bunch of extra Clan Credits on top of that.

With that you’ll be able to pick up a few new skills, or perhaps a nice potion to improve your abilities?”

As she finished speaking Remi popped her head over Ophelia’s shoulder.

“{Did I hear you say potion? I’ve got potions and pills of all sorts now that will help with physical stats. Or perhaps you needed something to make your fur softer? I’ve got new bubble bath.}”

Ophelia laughed at the excited Naga. “As long as it’s the same scent as the last batch. That one is Lotus’ favourite, and I don’t think that she would be happy if I switched it up on her now.”

Mark sighed. “See, life really is better in the mortal worlds, if that’s what you can call this place.”

Ophelia shook her head “You’ll see, it’s not that much different from your Clan. The only real change is who is living here. The power level is lower, the progress is slower, and without the vast resources and knowledge of the Clan, we’re dependant on the System to get new skills.

Being able to just go to a Library and get Immortal Grade skills is something else.

I’ve seen the difference firsthand after Karl and Dana went to the New Home Clan. The new skills from the Library there do so much more damage than what we learn from the System at the Mortal Ranks. There really is no

comparison.

But the quality of life in here is pretty good, with all the lakes, the clean mountain air, and my own personal Green Dragon Cleric.”

“See, now you’re just teasing me. How could someone have their own personal cleric?”

Lotus giggled and hopped up in Ophelia’s arms to snuggle into her furry chest. “Like this, you see?”

“I sec, I have simply overlooked the most obvious possible answer. When you are the fluffy thing, the clerics will come to you. Perhaps the path of the Bear Totem Berserker is more cultured than I was led to believe.”

Ophelia nodded. “There are downsides to being a were bear, but not all of them are horrible. Especially for the sort of man who thinks with his lower extremities. Being hit on all the time is annoying, but now that I’ve managed to find my human, it’s all been worth it.”

“Torture. I swear, you’re just doing this to torture me. I’ve been single for nearly

a hundred years, and you’re just living in an ocean of women.”

“Nudist nature priestesses.” Lotus added helpfully.

“GAH!”

Nate and Jim laughed as they dragged their brother to the table.

“Don’t let her get to you. You can do it, just keep working on your combat strength, don’t let the lack of female companionship distract you from what you need to be doing to make it to Void Immortal.” Nate whispered.

“But…”

Ophelia patted the Ninja on the shoulder. “Clearly, the old way isn’t working if he’s struggling enough that his mentor is threatening to turn him into a permanent berry picker until he can get back up to pace.

Why not let him have a little fun? I know just the right person for it.”

“I don’t know about that.” Jim began.

But Opehelia had already begun waving her hand to call someone over.

“Mark, meet Sylvia. She’s got a thing for cute younger men.”

Sylvia was nearly as large as Ophelia, but much more slender than the stout

were bear.

“Ooh, candy. Do you like thick thighs and strong arms, little berserker?” Sylvia

cooed.

Jim turned away, so he didn’t have to watch the tragedy of a matronly Obsession Demon hitting on his brother. He knew how this would end. The

berserker didn’t stand a chance.

“Thank you, Fee. I will bring him back in one piece. Not more than two or three days, if he can last that long.”

Then, Sylvia tossed the willing man over her shoulder and jogged off toward the

swamp.
