The First Legendary Beast Master

Chapter 1555 Renovate

Chapter 1555 Renovate

Now that the show was over, and both Karl and Dana had a new class, it wasn’t difficult to slip away from the others and return to their apartment in the back sections of the Clan Housing.

Neither of them had spent much time in the place since they arrived, and it was about time to make it their own.

The uproar was spreading through the Clan, as someone else had managed to unlock a Gold Tier Class while Karl and Dana were busy with the Elders. Now, everyone wanted to give it a try, even the ones that were ninety percent sure that their System was not going to be compatible.

For some of them, they were stuck with a minimally functional system from a Mortal world that they hadn’t managed to upgrade, so this obelisk might be a small hope, but it was the only one that they’d seen.

That was the drawback to recruiting from dozens of different worlds, just based on which ones had an Immortal ascending.

You never knew what you were going to get.

Cara came out in humanoid form as soon as they got to the room, accompanied by a living avatar for Opal, upgraded with all of Karl’s new skills.

“This place needs help. The array in the bedroom is good, it helps gather power into the spaces. But other than that? Total dump.” Opal decided.

“Welcome to the newbie quarters. Now, why don’t we start building up some spells to place on the apartment so that we can live in proper comfort?” Karl suggested.

“Not a bad idea. My Illusionary Domain can turn this living room into about ten acres of space. It would be nice if it was a bit bigger, but we will work with what we have.

Oh, you can use the Dana Space spell on the spare bedroom too. Or try it on me and see what we get.”

Cara laughed. “If it’s a room for guests, use it on Tian. You’ll get something suitably cute and fluffy.”

Karl checked what it would give Tian as a space. He was living in a cave when they found him, so it might be the natural home for a fox. That would not make a great spare bedroom.

Karl focused on Tian, and found that the room for him would look more akin to what he would think a wealthy young master’s bedroom would be.

Top quality materials, soft blankets, three different hiding spots, and luxuriously soft carpets.

It wasn’t bad.

Out of curiosity, Karl checked to see what Thor’s space would look like, and immediately rejected the idea.

He was going to have to hold “the talk” with the Cerro at some point. An entire wall of pictures devoted to Tessa was a bit excessive. But the rest of the decorations… Thor was definitely in lust with the War Priestess.

Dana’s was the closest thing to a normal room out of all of them.

No, that honour went to Ophelia. Her perfect room looked like a hunting cabin with fur rugs, log walls, and a training golem in the corner of the room.

Just in case you needed to vent.

“Alright, what should we do for the living room? I think that I have the perfect room for the spare room. We just have to pick between the two best options.” Karl explained.

The space that they were going to turn into a spare bedroom was intended to be a decent sized closet. But that didn’t really matter when you used enough magic.

Having two bedrooms plus a large relaxation area and kitchen in this small space would be more than enough.

Besides, they still had the Tiny World.

Upgrading that with the skills and knowledge that he had gained with his new Class was going to be a long process. But by the time that he finished the changes to the Tiny World, it would be so much more like a real world that the line between what was a separate space, and what was an isolated planet would begin to blur.

Sure, the actual surface of the tiny world was not yet a full planet, but if Karl put in the work, he was reasonably certain that it could be the size of a moon by the time that he reached peak Immortal.

And a moon sized world, imbued with the Fundamental Rules of Mana Manipulation, Creation and Life, would be so incredibly close to complete for the sake of the living creatures on it as to be indistinguishable by anyone under Immortal Rank.

“Should we make ourselves a small palace? Or give the apartment a nice garden? I think that we have enough outdoor space in the Tiny World.” Dana

noted.

“Good point. We can expand this into a living room, perhaps a small theatre? Make it look suitably grand for a pair of wealthy Immortals to host friends in?”

Karl suggested.

“Oh, that is good. I want a new theatre. There is one in town that I haven’t gotten to go see yet, and then there are the arenas, and the baths, and the

gambling halls, and Karaoke and…” Opal rambled.

al

“We get it, there are a lot of fun things to do in the Clan. We just haven’t gone

to see them all yet.” Dana joked.

“And that’s all without going outside the walls.

Karl needs to hurry up and finish his Immortal Spirit, so we can go play in the countryside and challenge people for resources. Opal added.

“Are we short on resources?”

“That’s not the point. They’re out there, in separate spaces that none of us have seen before, and I heard that there are amazing illusionary traps set in most of them to lure unaware Immortals to their doom.

Isn’t that awesome? Immortal Illusionary traps.

We could even get a fun new group to go with. I would have suggested the cat, but I think she was traumatized, and she’s not going to go outside and leave her reborn dragon friend unattended.”
